That was the first time that he shifted. Now he is turning eighteen and his parents are asking him to find his mate but he tried to refuse. He doesn't believe in mate or if he does he don't want a weakling to be his Luna but if he finds a weak mate or worst a human mate, he promised himself that he will reject her at once.

Eve Night: My Former Assassin Mate

Monday morning and I am in a hurry. I need to see Eve. I want to know if she is truly my mate. I run towards the hallway pertaining to her room. Her first class is history and she always takes out her books from her locker always at the same time.


Behind me are my Beta and some warriors who are also studying in this school. But before I could reach her a sweet scent of strawberry and is it chocolate?... Hits my nostrils. The scent is very intoxicating and addictive. I never like sweets before but this scent feels like a piece of heaven.


I followed the sweet scent and ends up to a small crowd. I saw Aiden, his Luna Amy and Colt with their warriors encircling someone but I know who that someone is.


"Eve!". I shouted her name and all heads turned to me. I saw her peek behind Colt but I can't see her face whole. 


My wolf Aeries came out in an instant and I was happy hearing him again, talking to me. 


I have no idea what he means by his last words but I ignored it, for now. I run towards Eve and shoved Colt to the side.


"What the fuck man!". He said and I growled at him.


I saw Aiden hold him and my Beta Maddox stand in front of him.


Emma yelled at me and grabbed my arm. She yanked and tried to dragged me away from Eve but I shoved her to my side. "I'm warning you Caeron... Don't do this!".


"Let him do it Emma". It was Colt. The crazy bastard.


"No he can't... She is her last mate!". She yelled then burst out crying.


We all saw Eve fly back to her locker door. Her body was slammed by a great force and in her hand was a pig skin, a ball use in football. She probably tried to stop it but the one who threw it is very strong. I know because he is one of my best warrior.


"Eve!". Amy and Emma screamed at the same time and we all hurriedly pick her up.


"Get away from her!". Emma screamed at me. "I can't believed how an asshole can you be!".


"I have nothing to do with this!". I said and mind link Maddox to take that warrior to me.


"She's your mate. Can you just reject her.... Why do you have to kill her?". Colt said angrily but I am more pissed.


"How dare you talk to me like that. I will never hurt my mate and will never reject her even if you kill me!". I am using my Alpha tone against him and I can see how he tried to fight it but he submit to me after.


I tried to hold Eve and carry her to my pack hospital but Amy swatted my hands.


"No!.... Don't you dare touch her. Have you done enough hurting her?. She's only here to study and fulfill her mother's last wish. Why do you have to be such a dick and bully her!". Amy yelled at me and I can't seem to say anything back. I just froze from where I stand.


"Colt, can you please take her to the clinic?". She asked the person I hated the most.


I mind link Maddox and told him to get Dr. Riley. I wanted to take Eve to our pack hospital but I know Amy will never let me and if I insist, Aiden will surely meddle. I don't want our treaty to be ruined because of my idiocy.


The clinic nurse is one of our pack members. Thank the Goddess. I told her to let Dr. Riley in after. She nod.


"Aiden, can you call for your pack doctor?". I heard Amy asked her mate.


"I loved too, but.... ". Aiden looked at me.


"She is not one of ours. She's maybe my cousin but she doesn't belong to any pack. I know!". Amy said then cry. Aiden holds her.


"Sorry sweet princess, but she is Caeron's Mate". Aiden look at me with knitted brows and also Colt.


The door swung open and Dr. Riley came in a hurry.


"Who's my patient?". He asked immediately.
