Waking up, Crystal sighs in content at the feeling of the warm soft sheets underneath her. Her eyes crack open, blue orbs meeting with the white sheets surrounding her.
Wait, White sheets? Her sheets are blue.
Shooting up right, Crystal looks around then unfamiliar room. Eyes wide as she takes in the place. Gray, black and white dominated the room. This was anything but what her room looked like.
And then the memories suddenly hit her like a ton of bricks. It was Hunter's room.
Yesterday after their day at the park, he'd carried her into the condo as she was too tired and sleepy to walk and so he brought her to his room. She was so tired that she couldn't even freshen up and brush her teeth before she went to bed.
Rubbing the sleep off her eyes, she looks down at the large white T-shirt she was wearing, confused.
She didn't remember wearing this yesterday... Which meant...
Crystal flushes red when she realises that Hunter was the only person who could've possibly changed her. And that would mean he'd seen somethings he wasn't supposed to see.
Crap.
As if on queue, Hunter walks out of the bathroom only in his bath robe towelling his hair. His golden eyes drop on her and a smile graces his lips at the sight of the young girl sitting in his bed.
"You're awake" he says softly, eyes glinting as he stared at her, "morning".
Crystal nods, trying as much as possible to control her eyes from glancing down at his partially exposed chest. And to think he wasn't even wearing anything underneath...
"You're staring bunny" he smirks making the girl's eyes snap up to his. She hadn't even realized that her eyes were already on his toned chest until he spoke to her. How did she not even realize it?
"Uh..." Crystal starts looking anywhere but him, "uhm... Did you... Did you change... Me?" She asks hesitantly now eyeing him for an answer. Hunter doesn't respond at first, walking over to his wardrobe.
"Yes... Yes I did" he answers and Crystal could feel herself already freaking out.
"But don't worry, I didn't take off your undergarments" he says noticing how the girl was freaking out at the information. His words seemed to calm her down a bit, especially when she pulls the top of the shirt to glance under it, seeing her bra and panties untouched.
But it was still embarrassing nontheless. She was obviously unconscious when he had changed her. And that meant she wasn't awake to suck in her stomach so it would look flat. And that also meant he saw her little tummy.
Utterly embarrassing.
"I'm going out today. I have work..." He starts turning away from her, suddenly dropping the bathrobe. Crystal's loud gasp echoes in the room when she takes in his naked body from behind. Immediately covering her innocent eyes with her hands before he scarred them any further.
"But don't worry, I called Jackie to keep you company" he says nonchalantly putting on his clothes without a care in the world.
No shame... This man had no shame.
"You can open your eyes now bunny" Hunter chuckles out after several minutes and Crystal could actually hear the smirk in his voice as he spoke. Slowly, she peeks through her fingers first to confirm that he was decent before lowering her hands completely.
"You can't just do that in the presence of a girl you know" the brunette practically scolds him, he on the other hand could only laugh in amusement at the girl's innocence. The innocence he was going to taint soon.
Hunter was now wearing a blue suit, an expensive looking one she might add and was currently fixing his cufflinks as he walked slowly over to her.
He takes a seat on the bed, face blank from any emotion. As if he wasn't just chuckling and smirking seconds ago.
His long slender fingers grasp her chin, tilting her head up so she was forced to look at him. Hunter scans her face, studying every detail and trying to memorize each thing into memory. From her striking blue eyes, to her pink and pouty lips, to her little button nose and her teeth peeking out from her pouted lips which makes her resemble Repunzel if not for the fact that she had brown hair and blue eyes instead of being blonde with green eyes. Hunter was appreciating the breathtaking girl in front of him who has him wrapped around her little finger. And she doesn't even realize it.
The corners of his lips tilt up slightly, "you have to get use to it then little bunny" he gives a short grin, "it's something you're gonna be seeing from now on... And more".
Crystal blinks at him, not really sure what he meant by that when he releases her chin. Pecking her cheek before standing up from the bed fixing his suit jacket. "You can help yourself to anything in the kitchen" he states walking over to the door before he faces her one last time.
"Be careful how to talk to Jackie and what you tell her bunny. I have cameras watching you.." he says darkly, gaze dropping "no funny business... Do not leave the house, I have a tracker on you... And do not do anything that you know would piss me off... Or else you'll be punished" with that said, he walks out the room.
Crystal stared at the door in disbelief, utterly flabbergasted.
What had she gotten herself into?
She looks around the room, skin prickling when she remembers that there are cameras watching her. Disturbing.
Maybe in the pillows? She checks them, non found.
The lamp? The head board? The alarm clock?
Crystal checks them all but she finds nothing. She starts searching the drawers too. Checking each and every one to see if she could find anything. And found something she did indeed.
In one of the drawers at Hunter's desk, are what looked like... Pills. Pills that she wasn't familiar with. They were green, and there were a lot of them scattered around in the drawer. These definitely weren't pain relievers, she's never seen these kind of pills before. What type were they? And why were there so many of them?
Something catches her eye once again in the drawer. Some old pictured. In the far back of the drawer buried under all the papers and pills. Her hand reaches out for the pictures and she grabs them, raising them up to take a better look.
The first one was of a young boy, the black messy hair and golden eyes making it obvious that this was Hunter as a kid. He looked so innocent and....normal. Unlike now, there was actually life in his eyes here. With the way his mouth was stretched wide I'm a sheepish grin and the way his eyes were squinted. He looked cute. Adorable even.
The second picture was what looked like a family picture. The mom, the dad, and Hunter. It was like any normal family picture but unlike the last one, Hunter wasn't smiling here. In fact he looked... Dull and... Uncomfortable. As if he didn't want to be here. His mom on the other hand was grinning widely. With her black hair and golden eyes similar to Hunter's. Now she knew where he got his good genes from. But then what trait did he get from his dad? She was curious, but it seemed her curiosity wouldn't be satisfied anytime soon as the man's face was completely scribbling off with ink. Even to the point of tearing. His body was the only thing untouched, but his face was completely ink covered.
The third picture was the same thing. Except it only had his dad in it. Also here, his face was scribbled off and there were holes on the body too. As if he'd stabbed the picture repeatedly with his pen after scribbling on the face. Why did Hunter dislike his dad so much to do this?
Deciding not to think too much about it, she moves to the next picture. It was a picture of a girl, a young teenage girl probably in her early teens. Grinning at the camera. The picture was extremely old as it had rough and torn edges.
Wait... Those eyes... That hair... Almost like....
"Yo Crystal! You in here?! Jackie in the house!" Crystal jolts in fright. Dropping the pictures in the process. The puts them back into the drawer before standing up to fix her self. Walking over to the door and into her room before Jackie sees that she was actually in Hunter's room.
Immediately she sits on her bed, Jackie enters holding up a huge box of pizza.
"I brought pizza!" Jackie exclaims with a grin walking into the room. Of course as usual, like the talkative Jackie is, she starts telling Crystal about a movie she wanted the both of them to watch the whole day. Something about romance or something. Crystal wasn't sure.
Her mind wasn't exactly fully in the rambling dark skinned girl sitting next to her in her bed. Oh no. Her mind was somewhere else. Specifically Hunter's room.
Aside from the pills, why did Hunter have a picture of her mother in his drawer?
