Small talk

"Do you want me to get you anything when I'm coming back today?" Hunter asks from across the table, watching the girl slowly munch down her pancakes. It was obvious she was hungry as she practically hasn't eaten anything since yesterday. He'd offer her food right after her little punishment yesterday but she was too gruggy to actually take anything into her stomach.

Crystal looks up at him, stiffening up visibly as her cheeks reddened at the question.

"W..well.." she starts, mentally cursing herself for stammering. "I do need some... pads and... tampons " she blushed not able to meet his eyes. Hunter's brows raised in amusement of the girl's shyness before pulling out his phone from his pocket to check the time.

"Ok then... I'll make sure to buy some on my way back" Hunter mumbles standing. Stuffing his phone in his back pocket, he places his hands on the table leaning towards her. "Has it started flowing yet?".

Her face turns redder if possible at the question. Did he seriously just ask that?

"Bunny?" He calls out catching her attention and she looks up at him almost bashfully. Avoiding eye contact as much as possible as she stared at his chest.

"N..no. B..but soon"

The golden eyed man hums softly, walking over to her side. "Be a good girl when I'm gone. No snooping or any funny business" he states, his hand going down to her bum squeezing it harshly making her flinch, "we don't want a repeat of yesterday do we?".

Crystal blushes at the memory of yesterday. The stinging of her bum a clear reminder of the harsh punishment he had given her yesterday for snooping around his room. She'd almost passed out by how thorough he was with her as he had tied her hands and knees. Also stuffing her mouth with a piece of clothing so as not to make a sound. It was to his advantage of course, because all she could do was whimper as he gave her a hundred lashes with his belt. She couldn't plead for him to stop nor beg for his mercy.

All she could do was sit there and take it.

He leans down to kiss her cheeck before making a beeline for the door. Crystal sits there flushed, before proceeding to finish her breakfast. Once she's done, she walks over to the sink, or more like limped, washing the dirty dishes before going up the stairs to take a bath.

Initially, she didn't want to get out of bed as she was too sore to move. But the look Hunter had given her was enough of a ginger to jump out of bed and do as he said before there was a repeat of yesterday.

She walks over to the bathroom, brushing her teeth first before settling into the huge tub filled with the rose scented bubble bath she had prepared for her self. Relaxing her tense muscles once she's inside, she almost does off because of how comfortable the bath felt.

Crystal was in the living room, watching a cartoon when there's a knock on the door. She stares at the door in curiosity, wondering who was on the other side. Definitely not Jackie, as Hunter wouldn't be inviting her again after last time. She didn't have any friends here. Maybe one of Hunter's friends? If he had any? Leo?

She walks over to the door again when the person knock again. Hesitating at first before she opens the door. There Kai stood, a wide exergerated smile stretching on his lips once he sees her. Crystal tilts her head staring at him.

"Kai... can I help you? " she asks, brows raising when he let's himself in.

"Come in... I guess"

Kai walks over to the couch in the living room, his blonde hair bouncing with the movement before he sits down. He slouches in his seat, tangling his fingers on his tummy before crossing his legs.

The younger girl folds her arms, staring at the blonde who was also staring at her with that same forced smile he had.

"What are you doing here Kai?" she asks in irritation. She'd already been in a sour mood and didn't really want any company to today. And Kai just sitting there staring at her wasn't helping the situation.

"Hello there Christine " he says cheekily which makes the brunette furrow her brows at him.

"Its Crystal "

Kai chuckle throwing his head back a little, "oh sorry. I ruined your perfect name. Crystal ".

"Just tell me why you're here. I'm not feeling well and-"

"He punished you didn't he?" He cuts her off and Crystal could actually feel her eyes buldging out in shock. How.. how did he know? Did Hunter tell him? Crystal flushes in embarrassment.

"He gave you a simple punishment and you're still whining about it. Pathetic!" Kai exclaims so suddenly standing up," if you can't even handle a simple punishment, then how are you going to handle him as a person?" He asks quietly walking slowly towards her.

"What are you talking about?" Kai smirks at her question stopping just a foot away from her.

"Hunter was mine. He'd always been mine but then you and your cousin just had to step in. Especially you" he growls putting more emphasis on the 'you'.

"I've never seen him so infatuated with someone like he is with you before. What's so special about you? Your cousin is even more pretty than you are" he spits out coldly looking her up and down. "He was mine first since the day we met at the asylum.."

Asylum? Crystal's mind blanks.

"And even though he had Sakura when I was finally released too I still knew I had a chance because I could tell she was just a tool to him and never really loved her. And then you just had to come"

Crystal's mind was racing, trying as much as possible to process every word he was saying without missing anything. Sakura? A tool? For what?

"What do you mean Sakura's just a tool to him?" Crystal asks which makes Kai chuckle darkly.

"Of all the things I spoke that's the only thing you heard? Aren't you a sweet little thing" he mocks with a smirk folding his arms.

"I guess i should just spill the beans. Maybe then you'd finally come back to your senses and leave us alone once you realise how twisted Hunter really is" Kai walks around her slowly over to the window behind her. She turns to face his back, curious on the beans he was about to spill.

"Hunter is on a mission to kill his father and Sakura had been a tool to him all this time to get close to someone that knows him in her family... Her stepmother" he pauses taking in a deep breath. "Its a really long story so I'll just keep it short. Hunter is done with Sakura. He's also done with her step mother too because he's finally found the location of his father. He's dumping Sakura soon. As for her step mother, he's already... disposed of her" Kai smirks side glancing at her. Crystal's eyes widen.

"That's right. When Yui left Sakura's dad. That was the time Hunter used to kill her as he had no use for her anymore now that he's gotten what he's looking for. Its funny that he did the same thing his mother too y'know" Kai finally turns around to face Crystal, staring at her dead in the eye. "Does that scare you?".

Crystal doesn't say anything as bile rises up her throat. Dread making itself home within her at the new information.

"If that scares you then you'd definitely not be able to handle a man like Hunter. Only I can. Me. Not you!"

"Wh..what..." Crystal stammers out but Kai cuts off her ramble.

"Hunter is an insane psychopath girl! A person like you wouldn't be able to handle him. He has a thirst for blood. Literally. He craves it. And he takes it by cutting your skin to deliciously slow before licking it off with his tongue. Would you be able to handle that?! No! Only me! Only I can handle Hunter so you better leave him alone. He's not for you. Only i know the real Hunter. No one else!" By now, Kai was yelling, a crazed look in his eyes. He steps towards Crystal making her step back to get away from the crazed boy. But before she does, his fingers wrap themselves around her neck strangling her.

"YOU DON'T DESERVE HUNTER'S LOVE! YOU CAN'T HANDLE HUNTER'S LOVE ONLY I CAN! HUNTER'S LOVE IS THE TYPE THAT COULD KILL YOU AND YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE HIM BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO NORMAL FOR SOMEONE LIKE HIM!" his fingers were now squeezing her neck tight and her vision was startingbto turn hazy. Her legs give out and she collapses to the ground. Kai doesn't loosing his grip on her neck as he straddles her small body. An insane creepy smile on his face as he watched her suffer.

"I ask of you to leave him alone soon. Or else I'll kill you before his love does. Someone as sick as Hunter can only be paired with someone similar to him. Not you! NOT YOU- AGGHH!!" Kai suddenly screams in pain at the sound of a loud whack filling the room.

Kai freezes on top of a barely conscious Crystal, before his eyes drop and he falls to the floor next to her.

Coughing as she sat up, she glances up at the culprit only to see an angry looking Hunter staring at Kai's body in disgust with a baseball bat in his hand. His eyes shift to the small scared girl on the floor, reaching his hand out for her to take. But to his dismay, Crystal scoots away from him with fear in her eyes.

"Get.. get away from me. Don't touch me!" She says scrambling away from him. Hunter's eyes narrow as he watches her.

"Tell me Hunter. Is it true that you killled your own mother? And now you're planning to kill your father too?" Crystal whispers, hoping inside that he would deny such accusations. She already knew he wasn't normal in the head and she was willing to live with that. But to find out that he killed his mom and was now planning to kill his dad? Could she overlook that? No.

"You don't know anything Crystal " he says and Crystal swallowed thickly at the sound of him calling her real name. A very rare occasion.

"Answer the question Hunter" Crystal says more firmly now. Looking him in the eye as if daring for him to lie. Hunter stares at her with a blank dead look. Moments passing before he finally answers.

"Yes"

Everything comes crashing down all at once when he says that one word. Crystal could feel her head spinning as she gripped her hair, turning away from him and trying to steady her self and her breathing. She couldn't believe anything that was happening. She couldn't believe Hunter was actually that kind of monster.

"I didn't want you to find out like this" he whispers making shivers go down her spine. The tears rolling non stop down her cheeks. Suddenly, Hunter's arm wraps around her neck making her squeal in shock. Followed by a stinging sensation in her neck.

"But now that you have, I still wouldn't let you get away from me. Ever". Hunter says easing the needle from the skin of her neck.

Those were the last words she heard before the darkness takes over.
