Marley POV

He barely touched his food and didn't respond to my questions. I noticed his hands awkwardly shake, as he stared blankly, almost like he fantasized about something. I called out to him and, still, in his head. The shaking grew more intense, prompting me to shake him out of fantasy land. He looked at his hands and I could see the anxiety undeniably dawn on him. He held his palms to contain the movement and excused himself from the table. That was quite weird. A different character from the one he had shown for the past few days. I tracked him with my eyes as he walked into the restroom and got out barely five seconds later. He went straight to the counter and whispered to the cashier. Right there, I knew exactly what was up. I stood up and followed as he entered the washroom, holding the brown paper slipped to him by the cashier. I opened the door, just to find him sniffing a line.
