Happy Birthday Darling

It was quiet at night on Etheria. Everyone was heading home after the ball the Queen threw for the royal general. On the roof top there laid a silhouette with a loosened tie and a shirt untucked. She laid there looking at the stars while wondering what she had done to deserve all of this.

"Catra" Catra turned when she heard her name and smiled. It was Adora with sweatpants under her dress. "I was beginning to worry where you went," she said approaching Catra.

"Sorry Adora," Catra said apologetically, and reached for Adoras hand to guide her to sit down. She laid her head on Adora's shoulder and sighed happily, but secretly fearing that all of this happiness was temporary.

"What's wrong Catra?" Adora asked concerned while placing her head on Catras.

"I'm scared Adora," she whispered, "that all of this will end and I'll go back to be alone suffering," she finished. Adora lifted her head and looked at her lover.

"Catra as long as I live I'll never leave you. This" she gestured at the kingdom below them, "might end, but this-" she pointed at both of them, "will never end. We spend four years apart and even after all those years we still loved each other"

"To be fair you didn't even realize it until I confessed," Catra said lifting her head and sneering at Adora. Adora shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"Point is!" She said "that we'll always be together even if we aren't, and-" she transforms into She-Ra and flexes "She-Ra won't let anyone take you away from her ever." Catra giggled and smiled contently she really was the lucky one.

Adora de-transforms and hugs her shoulders bringing her closer.

"I love you Catra" Adora said leaning into Catra and kissing her on the head, facing the beautiful night sky

"I love you more Adora, " Catra said snuggling into Adora's arms, purring lightly, this was the best day of her life

"Happy Birthday Darling<3"
