Into the dungeon- I mean Dwarfs Mine of course

As they walked through the Silent Woods to find the Dwarfs Mine. Maple was awed at the fact that this Woods reminds her really of the disney version snow white.

"Uuuwaah~! This forest is sure different from the game I played with my friends..." The shielder girl muttered which heard it by those two who caused to fall the chandelier before and they looked curioused at her what she meant by 'game'.

"Game? What kind of game did you played with friends in your world Maple?" Asked Grim in curiousity.

The black armored girl scratched her cheeks a little which Ace and Deuce blushed a little.

'C-cute...' They thought.

At the dimensional rift

Kazuma cursed that he got into a wrong world that has a stupid goddess and felt someone thought something dirty about his cute little sister.

'Just wait for me Imouto! I am going to save you!' He thought in determination as he went into another world.

Back to Maple and the others

She answered to the grey cat monster. "Well me and my friends would play virtual reality games which is heavy on medieval based on and you can choose job classes from the beginning from the game."

"Heh that sounds interesting..." Said Grim in interested and they reached a little bridge connecting to the other side with two pathways. One leading to a house and the other to the mines.

"So this is Dwarfs' Mine.. It used to be prosperous, thanks to magic crystal mining but.." Deuce muttered.

Grim shivered in fear, "Uuuuhh.. Feels like something could jump out..." He said while holding to Maple's right shoulder.

While the small house caught their eyes along and it seems that Ace noticed too. "Oh, there's a house back there. Let's go ask them about the mine." He tells them.

The group started to walk over to the house, Deuce knocked on the door, "Good evening.." He greeted only to step in the house, "I guess it's abandoned.. It's a mess in here."

Everyone entered the empty home noticing small seven chairs. Though a couple of them were on the ground by the small table. A pickaxe wedged on the table. So this must be the seven dwarfs' home. Maple thought that it looks cute even though its abondoned its still has the charm when Grim shrieked, "Puwah! I got a spider web in my face.. Peh! Peh"

Maple kneeled down and picked the webs out of Grim's face. "There is all gone now Grim, you can open your eyes now." The grey cat opened his eyes. Ace commented, "Aren't the tables and chairs on the small side? Are they for kids? One, two... There's seven! So many!"

"This was probably a lively home when Dwarfs' Mine flourished." Said Deuce with a somber expression.

Ace looked at him, "They did what they had to. After all, magic crystals are found inside coal. For now, let's go check it out."

Everyone nodded and walked out of the house, Deuce closing the door. As they walked over to the second path leading to the mines. They stood in front of the entrance, seeing the pitch black entrance with an overgrown tree above it with moss all over the roots and rocks.

"W-we're gonna go in that pitch black cave!?" Questioned a scared Grim.

Ace snickered at the cat, "Scared? Lame." He mocked.

Now those words made the grey cat a bit confident while he still was scared, "Naaanh!? I'm not s-scared at all! I'm taking the lead! You guys, follow me!"

Grim running off while he left the group behind and Maple started to chased after him, "Grim! Don't running off alone!"

The two boys also started to ran after them.

Exiting the dark pathway, they all entered the interior of the mines seeing the multi-colored crystals on the walls. Maple finally catched up to Grim when Deuce shouted at them, "Wait!"

Maple and Grim turned around as they saw that the boys catched up to them.

"What?" Ace asked confused as to why they stopped.

Deuce felt uneasy, "Something.. is there!" He said.

"Eeek!?" Screamed Grim, as two ghosts finally made their appearance.

The large ghost grinned, "Heeee hee hee! Our first visitors in ten years!"

"Make yourselves at home. For eternity!" Shouted the smaller ghost which the boys screamed and ran deeper in the mines leaving Maple behind.

The ghosts begin to laugh to notice the mortal was with them and saw her eyes sparkled at them.

"Miss? Aren't you afraid of us?" Asked one of the ghosts nervously and the shield girl shaked her head while they looked disbelief at her then Maple started to ran after the boys leaving the ghosts who gaped at her.

Finally reaching the boys seeing they were by a crystal pillar. "This place is haunted with ghosts, too!" Ace said scratching the back of his head.

"We don't have time to deal with them one by one. Let's go!" Deuce told with his arms crossed.

Ace looked at him and glared, "Don't think you can just order me around. If you hadn't done something so idiotic, we wouldn't be in this mess."

Glaring back at Ace, "You wanna talk about who started it? It's because you wouldn't clean!" Deuce argued.

"All of you! Do you understand our situation right now? We're all expelled if we don't get back with a magic crystal by tomorrow morning!" Deuce screamed at them.

The dark orange haired boy looking at the floor and grumbled, "So stop patronizing me. It's really ticking me off."

When Maple catched them up she suddenly heard something coming their way and the shield girl was prepared as she summoned her shield that made the three guys looked at her in curious.

"Oi, what are you doing Maple?" Asked Ace when a unknown voice draws near that all can hear it now.

"....on't...ive....wo.." The voice said, shocking the group. Ace gulped, "W-who said that?" He asked.

"St...one....sssss.....mine...." The voice muttered.

"I think it's... getting closer..."

They all turned their heads to see a monster with a broken round glass bottle for a head. On top of its head was a brown hat and it was wearing a burgundy button up jacket with a belt with a gold buckle around it's waist. Also black ooze dripping from the broken bottle and the rest serving as its entire body.

"Stone.... IS MIIIIIIIIIIINNNEEEE!!"

"I-It's heeeeeeeeeeere!!!" The boys screamed and started to run again leaving Maple behind again.

The black armored girl knew that with her poison magic would spread everywhere and also would reach to the boys that they running off to the exit.

"Well... There is only option..." She muttered when the ink monster tried to attacked her with its large pickaxe on her heads but it bounced back and she scratched her head a little then looked up to the ink monster with her apologie look.

"I'm sorry this doesn't work." She said to the glass headed monster who continued to attack her with its pickaxe.

back at the boys group.

"What the heck is that thing!?" Deuce asked.

"Ffgnnnaaaaa!! Crowley didn't say anything about that!! Let's get outta here!" Grim suggested.

They slowed there pace down and paused when they started to noticed that the black armored girl wasn't here with them.

They turned around and saw what couldn't believe what they saw. Maple did nothing when the ink monster attacked her with its pickaxe but the weapon bounced back.

"....I can not believe what I have seen..." Said Ace in disbelief as he watched that the ink monster continued to attacked her everywhere but she didn't have a scratch and Deuce agreed with him while Grim headed to her to help her.

"What are you doing?! Your heading off to the danger you stupid racoon!" yelled the navy haired boy to Grim.

"Shut up human! I will aid my human of course and I am not a 'stupid racoon'! My name is Grim who will be the greatest Magician's that will you humans bow down to me!" He said with a smirk and running off to Maple that she summoned her the small green turtle while Ace and Deuce looked at each other and they silently agree that the both will also help them then started to run after the grey cat.

The ink monster continued to hit Maple when Syrup binded him with wooden vines that paralysed the ink monster when suddenly someone shouted behind her.

"Cauldron!" The navy haired boy shouted as he pointed his pen pointed at the ink monster and a black cauldron appeared above this monster which hit it this brocken ink bottle and made a crack of it while Grim spatted blue fire at the monster.

The orange haired boy catched something sparkle behind the ink monster.

Ace answered, "Behind that thing! At the end of the tunnel, something..."

Deuce's eyes widened, "That light, is it a magic crystal!?" He said.

"GOOOOOOOOOOHHH! WON'T GIVE!!!!"

"Then all we had to do is to destroy this monster! Come forth Wind!" Ace said when he also pointed at the ink monster and a large gust of green wind attacked the monster.

When Maple think back as Deuce cracked up the ink bottle she suddenly had an idea.

"Minna~, please stay back for a bit because this will be caught everyone if your guys don't do this." The black armored girl said to them and they obeyed her words when she summoned a cannon to her left arms that made them gouged there eyes as Maple killed it with one hit.

"[Counter]!" She shouted then a pink beam came out of the cannon as the beam hit at the ink monster and its no more there.

Ace, Deuce and Grim stared at her as if she started to quit to being a human when Maple finished the ink monster with one laser beam that she summoned a CANNON like in a science-fiction movie and they looked at each other then nodded as the boys grew respect for the shield girl.

Then they celebrate as they clapped each others hands. "WE DID IT!" They both shouted and Maple chuckled at them. "You're getting alone well now."

That made them off guard. Deuce hid his hands aswell the others doing the same and pretend this never happened.

"..-Ah! N-no. This is nothing like that!" "Y-Yeah, yeah! Could you stop saying weird things?" Ace retorted and Maple just smiled at them as they coughed.

"We got the magic crystal and were able to beat that monster, thanks to you Maple." Deuce complimented, and then he sighed in relief, "This way, we can prevent our expulsion... I'm so relieved."

Maple scratched her head a little and was flushed by these, "U-Uuuhh...it's also thanks to your teamworks! I'm also glad everyone is alright!" Maple smiled honestly and her smile, could blinded the two humans. Ace cleared his throat, "Yeah, yeah. We're all relieved."

"And seriously worn-out and battered...let's go back," Ace said.

Grimm let out a tired sigh, "I used so much magic...I'm starving daso...Hn?" Grim spotted the black stone, and picked it up, "What's this?" the humans looked at the stone.

Deuce wondered, "Remnants from that monster? A magic crystal...?" he soon shook his head slightly, "But, I've never seen one pitch black like coal before."

Grimm sniffed at the stone, "..This thing smells really good daso..." Ace looked at him in disbelief, "No way!" Grimm grinned, "This has to be a candy the monster was hiding!" he stated, "Ooooohhh! I can't hold back!"

"Time to dig in!!" Grimm announced, and in one bite, he ate the stone.

Maple looked at him, bewilderedly, "He actually ate it!? And I thought its my thing to eat even though I will not eat a stone!"

"Uuuhh!!!!" Grimm paused.

"Hey! You alright!?" Deuce asked.

Ace sighed, "Aaahh. That's why you don't eat things off the ground..."

Grimm's eyes widened slowly, "D...d-d-d-d-...DELICIOUS!!!" he announced loudly.

The three humans were in shock immediately, "EEH!?"

Grimm chewed on the stone, savoring the flavor he tasted, "It's full-bodied but also rich, with an aromatic sweetness that blooms in my mouth..." then gulped, "Like a whole field of flowers in my mouth daso!!"

Ace made a puking noises, still in shock, "Monsters really do have different tastes from us..."

"...I guess so. But more than that..." Deuce shrugged, "Most people wouldn't even put a mysterious object in their mouth without a thought."

Maple was silent with Deuce statement and kept quiet about the fact she ate monsters in her game before.

"Gahahaha!! Tasty, tasty!!" Grimm wiped his mouth, "Don't worry, my stomach isn't weak like yours daso."

"Don't come crawling to me when you get sick later," Ace said.

Deuce looked at them and said, "Switching gears, let's get this magic crystal to the headmaster!"
