A Glimpse (Special Chapter Part 08)

"I'm sorry, Aunt Hilda. I didn't mean to keep it a secret from you. God knows how much I want to tell you about your grandson, Howard. But after the monk's vision, I got scared to reveal my pregnancy. And so I waited until Vincent returned to inform you about the good news. I'm sorry."

"Oh, Hailee! Stop apologizing to me. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for you to conceive my grandson without Vincent by your side. I wish I were there to help you."

If she had learned about her pregnancy, she would have loved to accompany and teach Hailee everything a pregnant woman should know. She was motherless and needed someone by her side other than her dad or Vincent. Some women have no problems during their pregnancy, but many suffer from it, such as morning sickness, and the worst is if they need bed rest the entire time of their pregnancy.
