SMO Chapter 8.3 : Rebuilding

After a long while, discussing and debating on the Risks and Factors for keeping the Wolves, he decided to keep them.

To his surprise, they were very intelligent.

When they were told to do something, they understood completely, and did as they were told.

Even with their intellect, they didn't seem to understand how to use Magic.

They didn't have the ability to speak yet, but had enough understanding to know their own names.

Amy knew the Race of each Wolf, so LacX didn't need to use "Appraisal" to find out each Wolf's Race.

The Red Wolf is a Flashflare Wolf, and She was given the name "Blare". She seems to be the oldest of the bunch, since she was a little larger than the others.

The Silverwind Wolf is "Gala", and he is the most energetic.

"Bell" is the Aquastream Wolf, and seems to be more intelligent than the others. She doesn't like to play with the others, but instead hangs around Laril.

The Brown Wolf was named "Moar", and he liked eating the most.

Finally, the Bright Wolf is "Lillie". She was shy, and doesn't seem to like anybody other than the Wolves and LacX. It would be near LacX with any chance it gets.

Mana was in charge of them, since she seemed to have some sort of "Sensory" Skill that allowed her to know their locations. She also had this "Aura" around her that said "I always wanted Siblings".

While everybody continued to work, LacX saw something interesting.

There was someone amongst the Workers who started to move Heavy Objects with ease.

'That's interesting. Is it a Unique Skill?'

[Appraisal]

[Name : Park]

[Race : Human]

[Job : Porter]

[Guild Rank : D]

[Class : None]

{Level : 18}

[Unique Skill]

[Daily Copied Skills : 3/3]

[Can no longer Copy Skills for Today]

'Wait, so it's not a Unique Skill? I guess I should ask him myself instead if trying to copy his Skills. That "Capacity" Skill seems pretty useful though. I should make some Bags for Nia and Laril, and maybe a Gift for Amy.'

Walking up to the Man, he asked him how he was moving the Heavy Objects.

He learned that it wasn't a Skill, but was instead something called "Mana Strengthening". As it turned out, Mana Strengthening was very simple.

Coursing Mana through his Body, LacX managed to pick up a Log and bring it to the Required Location. Immediately afterwards, his MP ran out.

'I guess this uses "Internal" Mana instead of "External" Mana, like Magic.'

Heading back, the Guy who taught him beckoned for him to come over.

"That was pretty impressive. It seems like you don't have enough MP, but with enough time, you can eventually master it. Here, take this." He tosses a Bag to LacX.

"What's this? A Bag?" LacX opens the Bag, revealing what seemed to be a Bottomless Void.

"It's a Bag that I made. It has an extremely large Capacity, and even I don't know how much it can hold. Take it as a Gift, since you managed to learn quickly, as well as lighten up my workload, even if it was just a little. I even got a Skill Level Up thanks to that bag, so just take it."

Thanking the Man, LacX accepts the Gift, and goes back to his primary job.

. . .

A few more hours go by, and the Final Whistle blows, indicating the end of the day.

Regrouping, LacX and the others head back to their room in the Shelter.

As soon as they enter, LacX hears the sound of ringing.

"That must be the alarm. I wonder how it works in this world?" LacX turns to the others, who were just staring at him.

'Master, are you by chance a "Transferer"?' Mana looks with curious eyes.

"A 'Transferer'? Is that what we're called? I guess I am. Why?"

'Transferers tend to disappear for a long while. They come from a different world than ours, but we can still send messages via the "Party" System.'

"There's a Party System? Since when?"

Looking through his System's Menu, he finds a small Tab that says "Party".

Clicking it, there were 2 things that LacX found new to him.

The first was that the Tames and Slaves were not registered as "Party Members", so he had to register them, which made small Name Tags appear above their heads.

The second was that he could put in a Phone Number.

'A Phone Number? Is this how we can chat to eachother from the outside? I'm pretty sure that their messages will be sent quickly, and mine will be slow.'

Putting in his Number, he got another message from the System, telling him that the Alarm has already gone off.

"Well, I finished doing that, so I don't think there are any other problems. I need to go now, so I'll see you guys in a few. See ya later."

Everybody waved goodbye as he pushed the "Logout" Button.

White...

Slowly, his senses came back to him, and Suuco managed to open his eyes.

Lying in bed for a little longer, he fully regains his senses, and gets up, taking his FDVR Headset off, and putting everything away.

There was noise coming from downstairs, so Suuco changed his clothes, put on a new Hoodie, and went downstairs.

The girls were all sitting on the couch, playing a racing game on the TV.

"Good Morning. Did you girls get enough sleep?" Suuco heads over to them, and watches them play.

"Good Morning! Wanna play? Mina is really good, and I think only you can match her." Suzu grabs a controller and offers it to Suuco.

"Maybe later. For now, what do you want for Breakfast? I'll take any and all suggestions."

"Pancakes!" Suzu raises her arms in the air. She sat in the middle, and was in 2nd place.

"I would like something less sweet. Maybe an Omelette, or some Bacon." Shina was sitting on the left side. She was in 8th Place, and didn't seem comfortable in that position.

"Cake." Mina was on the Right Side. She's in 1st Place, currently winning agains the other girls, as well as the CPU players.

"I'll make a Pancake for Suzu, an Omelette with Bacon for Shi, and I think we have some Cake left over in the fridge."

Going into the Kitchen, Suuco began making breakfast. While he did so, the Girls kept playing, with Mina always Winning, Suzu always in Second, and Shina in any place between 10th and 5th.

After a few minutes, Breakfast is finished, and everybody sits at the table. Suuco made himself a bit of everything, and ate with them.

After eating, they go back to playing, with Suuco as an extra player.

. . .

Deep in a Forest in SMO...

"Is it done?"

"Yes. However, we ran into a small problem."

"A problem? Surely there were no high ranked guild members."

"No, there were none. There was, however, a boy who managed to defeat the Ash Bear, as well as take the Pups that we used as bait."

Slamming his hand against a tree, an Apple falls on his head.

"If I don't get even a single person to die, then it will be me who dies. Begin the next plan."
