From Tokonosu Airport back to Takagi estate

Third POV

The group finally reach Tokonosu Bay, they can see the Airport from there.

Despite the Airport being isolated, it was still invaded by zombies, so they need to be ready to fight when they reach it.

The only way to go there is by sea or air, so they need to find another means of transportation. Luckily there are many boats abandoned at the bay.

"Does anyone know how to drive a boat?" Ask Rin.

Surprisingly Saya raises her hands, answering him with, "I can".

Every eye present gives her a surprised look.

No one expects her to be able to drive a boat.

Feeling looked down on by them Saya frown.

" What? Do you doubt me? I have learned from my Papa when we are on a vacation." She explains to them with an annoyed face.

"Ahhh..."

Since she is from a rich family most of them accept her explanations since it sounds logical.

In the end, Saya, Rin, and Saeko go to the airport.

Because the boat only has four seats they can only bring three people so there is an empty seat for Rika when they get back.

"Shizuka-sensei can you pass me your phone?"

"Here, catch."

Shizuka who is still at the bay throws her phone to Rin, she didn't question why he needs them.

The rest of them watch as the boat got closer to the airport.

When the boat reaches the airport Rin quickly calls Rika using Shizuka's phone.

"Rika-san we are already arive."

"Got it, tell me your location."

Rin gives their location then wait for her.

After several minutes they see a beautiful woman with tanned skin and long purple hair appear.

Rin smiled at her.

"8 minutes, 23 seconds. Wow, you're fast." Rin comment to Rika, checking his non-existence wristwatch.

In response, Rika lands her left fist on his head.

"Ouch." Rin pretends to be hurt by her.

"Don't play with an adult, brat." She warns him with a "lovely smile" on her face.

"Hey, it's true." Rin retorts.

"Since I am a kind woman, here some tips kid. If you go on a date, always came early. Never complain about how long you have to wait."

"If your partner asks, " Did you wait long?" answer, "I just arrive"."

Rin rolled his eyes at this so-called "Kind woman" advice.

Rika sat on the last empty seat with her bag on her lap.

"So what your superior says to you?" Asked Rin.

"They don't know about it, so let's not talk about this and leave."

Shizuka feels so happy when she sees them return with her friend.

Rika who just set her foot on the bay was welcomed by Shizuka hug.

She almost falls, but she chose to stay silent. She doesn't want to ruin this moment.

"Alright, Rika will join me!" Shizuka excitedly yells with her fist raised in the air.

"No, I am driving." Rika quickly deny.

"Why?!"

"Don't ask, get in. Rin, lead the way." Rika orders both of them.

"Roger!"

"Yes ma'am!"

Both Shizuka and Rin reply to her while saluting like a soldier.

Rika laughs at both behaviors. She was stressed by her job of this day, the laugh is raising her spirit.

Even with their current conditions, she gains new hope for their survival.

With Rika riding the Humvee the group's begin their way back to Takagi estate.

Sadly the sun soon came down. The street was too dark for them to continue so they must stay somewhere for tonight.

They don't worry about the dead, they are more worried about the living. They don't want to be ambushed by lunatics who have lost their minds since the apocalypse begins.

Rin, Rika, Kiriko, and Saeko take turns to stay awake and guard others.

Rin takes the first turn, Saeko second, Rika third, and Saeko fourth.

They switch place every 2 and a quarter hours.

While guarding Rin use All seeing eyes of God and check the road.

The road is dead silent.

It almost feels like the sound of a can drop can make the Zombies flood the road, rushing to any Human they can bite.

He tries to look beyond the wall but fails to do so.

Next, he tries to connect his mind to the miasma.

It's like the zombies are machines and the Miasma is software that controls them and regulates the data from them so it can update them.

There is still no sign of intelligence to perform an action like open a door, but their instinct is getting sharper and better.

They don't just wander around aimlessly, they head to the most populated area nearby.

If there are other Humans near them, even if they have fewer numbers the zombies will switch target.

'Hoo... Things will get messy I see. Hah, rhythm.'

Rin creates an Owl and connects their sight.

Owl was symbolizing intelligence, education, wisdom, magic, and death.

Not only owl able to turn their head 360 degrees they also able to fly silently.

But the most amazing thing Rin like about an owl is their ability to tell if a mouse is pregnant or not just from listening to the sound of their spine.

To make it worst they are brave enough to attack Eagle at night.

Even if Eagle is bigger and stronger, at night, Owl rules the sky.

Well, sort of.

They are not Superman, but they are real.

They are like deadly hunters and assassins in one packet.

The owl Rin creates fly to the air and begins to scan the area.

"Everything looks good so far."

"What's look good?"

Rin looks behind and finds Juliet look at him.

"You- I meant the road. Yeah, the road looks good from what I can see."

"Is that so? So I don't look good?"

She asks him with a naughty smile.

Rin knows what she wants to do, but he isn't in the mood to joke around so he ignores her and continues to look for any abnormal zombies out there.

Juliet sees his actions pout and sits next to him.

Rin can't concentrate before he was alone so he can focus his mind, but with Juliet, he fails to do so.

She keeps looking at him while trying to get close to him.

*Sigh*

"What?"

"Nothing..."

Rin gives her a deadpan look, trying to force her to tell him what she wants.

Suddenly he realizes she is awfully quiet.

This is nothing like her at all.

"Why are you so quiet?"

Juliet gives him a confused look as if he asks something she doesn't understand.

She touches her cheek with her index finger, thinking about something with a serious face.

"I fail to understand your question." She answers with an innocent smile.

"The way you act. You are not like yourself."

Juliet rolls her eyes.

"Of course, I don't want to die very soon you know."

Rin was surprised by her answers.

He can't imagine she stay quiet so she doesn't attract the zombies.

The first time he meets her, she acts bubbly.

"I realize that I am risking others by talking, so I shut my mouth. It's not very easy to act differently than usual you know."

Rin gives her a nod.

He doesn't understand what is happening around him, but he is sure about something.

His knowledge is not absolute.

There are several differences here and there.

'What the hell is going to happen from here?' Rin wonders in his mind.

There are already many crazy things in this world and everything will get crazier from here.

"Hey, Juliet?"

"Hum? What? Are you fall in love with me?"

"Oh no, what I should do?! Should I accept your feelings?"

"But you already have a harem!"

"Oh no, what I should do?!"

"Juliet do you miss your family? You sensei?"

Knowing Juliet, Rin doesn't stop her wild fantasy and ask directly.

"Of course I miss them, but all I can do for them is believing they will make it."

"What if things get worse?"

"I will try harder and give them more believe!"

Rin laughs dryly.

'That's not how to believe, but I won't say it.'

Rin wants to help her, to give her a chance to meet her family and reunite them again.

He might also search for her teacher later.

Gate of Babel can't be used to transport living creatures from a place to a very far place, but if his test success then he might have a way to go to America.

Rin realizes his curiosity will cause a big problem for himself in the future.

He might accidentally save a very desperate girl and accidentally make her fall for him.

Which sounds very narcissistic even for him.

'I just jinx my own self.'

*Sigh*

It can't be helped, he will fix his problem later.

Something he will regret very much

"Juliet, can you cover me for a sec. I need to do something, it will be fast, I promise you."

She tilts her head and put her index finger on her cheek.

"I can, but..."

She gives Rin a cheeky smile.

"What I will get"

"Just say it."

Rin has the urge to do his little test and he can't hold it so he will think whatever her little mischief later.

"Just go now, I will ask you later."

"No, I need you to-"

Juliet put her index finger on Rin lips, stopping him from finishing his words.

Knowing Juliet's attitude, she will ask for something troublesome.

He can force her to say it or cancel it, but since the test was very simple he can't stop his curiosity.

"Juliet, please dont-"

"Just go!"

She turns his body around and pushes him, forcing him to leave.

Okumura Rin POV

Right now I am on the building rooftop. I snap my finger and say, "Gehenna Gate".

There is no need to snap my finger nor the need to enchanting any word.

It was like you tell a person who used to use a controller to use voice command.

The person will feel uncomfortable.

To be honest I won't be able to use magic if I need to enchant spell every time I use them.

It's not efficient, stupid, and ridiculous.

In several scenarios, enchanting was too long that it stops Magic-User, Magician, Mage, or whatever they are called can't be a direct fighter or fight close to their enemy.

Also if you shout " Fire Ball!" your enemy will know what is coming to them and they might find a way to counter your attack.

Even if you use a foreign, unknown, or weird language your enemy will know what is going to happen if you use the same spells many times.

I will try to erase the need for spells later.

Now time to enter hell.

What I will see inside?

Will I meet sexy girls?

Will I meet scary and crazy creatures that exist only to erase humanity?

Will I meet any deities?

Will I find the power to dominate the whole world?

Will I meet an American Marine wearing a Praetor suit who wants to kill any Demon he came face to face?

It's scary and crazy.

Gehenna quickly became Pandora Gate for me.

Oh well, there is no turning back.

I pass the gate and find a many Coal Tar.

"Please leave me for now."

The Coal Tars look very sad but still follow my command.

Coal Tars are tiny, airborne Demon that possesses fungi, flecks of dust, and dirt. It is attracted to dark, dank places, as well as humans with dark natures.

Coal Tars appear as small, round creatures with two, cat-like ear projections, four, minuscule spiked limbs on their underside, and a long tail with a triangular point.

Don't let their appearance fool you, breathing them in can cause one's lungs to rot. Also, they can band together and cause massive damages or form a Koks.

Forget about Koks now.

The reason I need to go to hell is that I have a Hell to visit.

Imagine my surprise to find it as a wide dead land filled with souls and a wide variety of Demons.

"All of you, I need a guide."

All of the Coal Tar make happy sounds (For me that is. If others hear it they might feel scared or uneasy) and form an arrow.

They lead me to a long row of Torii, it ends in front of an Aztec style Pyramid.

They lead me to the top, there I find a throne made of yellow smooth stone. Malkuth was engraved on it.

There is a crown made of white metal on it, Kether was engraved inside of the crown.

I check behind the throne and find Tree of Life (Kabbalah) was engraved on it.

"You want me to sit there and wear the crown?"

They all give me a nod.

There is something not right here.

There are many Demon and Soul here, why is this Pyramid was very deserted?

Aside from me and the Coal Tar, there is no other Demon nearby.

Why they want me to sit here?

Instead of answers, more questions arise.

They say the idea was over matter.

To make it simple thoughts or words might change the world.

For example, I say "I want to have a Harem" I might have a harem in the future.

If I say "I don't want to have a harem" Murphy Law will start to work and cause the opposite of my words.

"Trouble seeks those who avoid them."

The throne and crown are nothing simple.

No, I dare to say they can do something crazy.
