"Alright, see you later! And don't forget to have fun!"

Waving goodbye to my father and Grace I watched as they made their way out the driveway with the car and onto the street. Once they were out of sight I made my way back inside and closed the door after myself. 

Looking up into the house I could hear the sound of the TV playing and I assume that is where the three boys were keeping themselves busy. Sighing I turned to the kitchen to make myself something to eat. 

Grabbing a cutting board I placed it on the kitchen island next to the bread knife before taking out the ingredients for a good old sandwich. Ham, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and cucumber. 

Placing the bread onto a plate I spread some mayo on the two slices, put the leaves of the lettuce on one, cut up my tomato and cucumber into thin slices and put the ham on top.
