The debacle

Meeting up with Kat we made our way over to the ice cream shop. Taking our cones we made our way outside the store where a tall wall stood separating it from the shop next to it. Sitting atop the wall we ate our ice creams in silence, watching cars and people go by.

"Oh, yeah Ally kissed Isaac"

I nonchalantly said licking my frozen treat Kat, on the other hand, was anything but calm as she slowly turned her head towards me with a shocked expression.

"What?"

"Yeah, she called me earlier today and told me"

Not looking up from my ice cream I continued to eat my treat but the stinging pain on my arm forced me to switch my calm demeanour to a more annoyed one.

"Ouch! What was that for?"

I asked Ally, rubbing the spot where she had pinched me. Looking at me with an angry expression I glared back at her but slightly confused by her actions.
