Yusheng came down from the carriage which had now stopped inside the villa where they will be residing until the end of their selection.
After a long paved road with fake mountains and flowers bed on each side with long rectangular shaped courtyards for servants,they reached first gate towards the courtyard.
Entering inside after taking 5 minutes they reached the first manor facing towards the entrance gate of villa marking it as the main house for the owner to reside. At the north and south side of the manor was another path which led to a more sophisticated garden with small pavilion with light round tables and stool chairs, where once it was used to take short tea breaks enjoying the nature.
While on the south side was a medium sized courtyard with small shrubs and garden probably made for a favored concubine.
Entering the manor, there was a big hall for receiving guests, furnished with arhat bed in the center and small curved one person chairs and round curved legged tables for guests.
Long big carved pillar erected on four sides. Filled with decorations such as long glazed vessels size of half a man tall, big brazer made of copper and gold on all four corners, long stools with flower bouquets and incense burners at top, half curved styled recliners, it was grand and pleasing to eye.
Straight facing the east behind arhat bed was door which had long corridor one leading straight to the main sleeping chamber, study on left, and main dining room probably used by main branch and legitimate members.
There was another path from the dining room which was connected to a big pavilion used for eating outside while enjoying nature.
Behind the main sleeping chamber was a long narrow path connecting to a small pavilion with small pond with aquatic plants. While on both far ends was gates. Behind the gates were other courtyards may be used by children or concubines, manors kitchen, servant courtyards branched out like tree branches.
And facing west with tall walls and a big curved head door was the entrance to the so called biju forest.
It is rumored that this villa belonged to the last prince of previous dynasty named Chuanzhi, favored most by previous emperor. The so called cursed forest used to be once his playground for hunting and camping.
It is also rumored that in the most deep part of the forest laid royal tombs of previous dynasties where Prince Chuanzhi's royal mother also was buried... after his coming of age, he requested the emperor to make a villa outside this biju forest to guard and pray for his mother and his ancestors. Heart touched with his filial senses emperor waved and gave this exquisite villa to prince Chuanzhi.
After the end of previous dynasty many curios one's entered the forest to explore but some came out losing their mind becoming a fool, some died and some dissapeared. Hence believing it was cursed.
