Going on a date

Yusheng was having breakfast when Pei Jin arrived like always sudden and announced. Another set of plate was added for him. The breakfast ended with normal chit chats. Pei Jin could feel her subtle changes and was relieved.

From that night he was worried hence had dug out all of her past activities yet strangely he didn't find anything new that he was unaware of. Though puzzled he didn't push for answers he just hope whatever she had hidden will come to surface of her own will.

"What is it? You are early.." questions Yusheng with slight worry. Pei Jin feels warm and placing his hands on hers annswers "everything is fine... as we have removed all the bugs the days are calm.. I was thinking to have you taken out for a tour.. you have yet to enjoy and tour the capital...Get changed and we will tour around to some places. The weather is nice perfect for a tour"

Yusheng felt warm and fuzzy even excited. She indeed hadn't been to many places. Listening to the stories of junqi and her servants had her curiosity peaked. Happiness and excitement radiating on her face she goes to change.

Remembering how Pei Jin had dressed as a rich noble she too dressed lightly not forgetting her veil hat made from heaven silk. Pei Jin also a large hat though without veil to shadow his face.

Though dressed more normal still their aura couldn't be diminished. Both have the feeling of nobles with strength. Satisfied with her hat and clothings he ushers her inside a carriage.

From outside it had the look of a rich persons carriage but inside was exquisite befitting there status. Yusheng was peeking from the window making Pei Jin chuckle.

"Where are we heading to? asks Yusheng with excitement. You will know soon replies Pei Jin with soft smile making Yusheng huff and pout for keeping the secret.

Soon the pout changes to happiness when the carriage stops in the buzzing market lined with stalls and shops. Pei Jin chuckles at her excitement and gently covering her face with the veil and stretches his hands to help her alight from the carriage.

They walk with eased steps, but he could feel her skip of the steps. Her hand that was gripped on his making him clear of her excitement. Soon he is pulled infront of a stall that was selling accessories.

Though she did not lack them but it was her first time in this life standing infront of buying place. She was now looking at a white jade hairpin, it's texture was very smooth with the carvings of dragons and lucky clouds.

Soon she had several of them wrapped after counting the people in her mind. She refused when Pei Jin moves forward to pay making him feel helpless. She coaxes him that for the rest he can pay and that she will squeeze him dry.

Happy Pei jin assures that she can buy anything she wanted. Like that with Yusheng excited as a child is followed by Pei Jin to various stalls. The stuffs kept piling and tao who was also disguised has travelled twice to arrange the goods.

They had surveyed half of the stalls when he is again pulled by Yusheng to a food stall. It was the famous stall for chicken wings and grilled pork. The smell was very good raising her hunger.

Taking their seats they placed their order, Pei Jin also had tao order soup dumplings, porridge and green beans with minced meat that was famous in the market.

The vendor and waiter knew that this was a hard party from their clothes thus had their order served quickly. Yusheng taste buds bursts with flavors delighting her. The other dishes were also top notch in terms of flavor.

Finally they had some soybean curd and gluttonous rice balls with peanuts as their final dish. Having their belly filled they again started on the tour of market.

Soon they stopped at the stall which was making dough figurines. The man was old but his technique was very good, the figurines in display were magnificent. From animals to people it was life like.

Yusheng watched the entire process with awe. Pei Jin chuckles at her amazement and orders for the man to have their figurine made. Soon Yusheng was holding two figures in her hand.

One was a veiled lady while other was a big hat man. Though the face not clear but still it was very attractive. Like a child she gripped those figurines refusing to let go. After a lot of coaxing she very reluctantly handed those figurines to tao with watchful eyes.

Tao felt that it was not a simple figurine but his life that he was keeping from her look. Afraid his head would roll if there was to be slightest crack in them.

Both Pei Jin and Yusheng were given second looks by other people beacause of their temperament and clothes.

Pei Jin feeling irritated takes Yusheng quickly towards the lake to have him stop from killing these eyeing people. Yusheng unknown to his emotions happily follows Pei Jin.
