All gathered

The hunting ground was prepared for the hunt, with many tents for the people along with a platform for the royals and envoys to spend time together. Everything was well prepared befitting to each ones status and comfort.

The news had arrived as who were coming from each nation as representatives, and as Pei Jin had summarized both the current crown prince, his blood related sister and his elder brother were coming from huajin.

Similarly two princes along with their subordinates were coming from other nations. It was clear that all the crown princes and priced young youths were going to be gathered.

These few days Yusheng felt helpless yet warm from Pei Jin attaching him to her. He wouldn't let her be alone at all times. Their intimacy rising more for everyone to see. He had become a mother hen protecting its chick.

Yusheng was inside her luxurious tent specially prepared by Pei Jin having tea and snacks served by Pei Jin when loud sound of horns where heard indicating the arrival of guests.

Pei Jin clasps her hand "you need not go out.. finish your tea.. they don't rank higher to be received by you.. grandfather and uncle would be receiving them.. later we will meet them for lunch"

Yusheng nods at Pei Jin and continues to eat and drink. Pei Jin rather hide her wife than be ogled by other people, feeling sour when thinking of the lunch his eyebrows furrows.

All the prince and princess were received warmly with proper etiquette by the duke and prime minister. Soon every party had their servants prepare their designated tents.

Though they seem calm but duke Taiwen and prime minister could feel anxiousness and excitement leaking in their aura. Only one person oozed of confidence among all and that was Xu Shiyou the crown prince of huajin.

All the parties were left to rest until the lunch while duke and prime minister went to inform the emperor. Entering the tent the royal couple were having tea and snacks.

"Emperor..all of the representatives have arrived.. each nation has send two princess and their favored general along with other subordinates and princesses..."reports prime minister.

"Umm.. it is indeed surprising to learn that each nation had send their next successors for this hunt" muses emperor.

"Well.. all the nations are curious about our crown prince and his princess.. or more importantly they want to verify their relation...it is obviously a big chance for them to be on good shoes with the lord and crown prince.. after all this gathering will declare their standing.." replies duke taiwen.

"Well.. we will see what their thoughts are during lunch.. with all the heirs gathered we need not worry about sneak attacks from any nations.. I pray for any youths who may offend Sheng'er.." says the emperor with mischievous glint in his eyes.

Both prime minister and duke shake their heads at the emperor who seem to have become more childish. They knew that emperor these days was relaxed and worry free. Not to forget in glee when Yusheng would punish people left and right.

They truly hoped that none would be daring and stupid enough to offend Yusheng. With her fiery temper she might kill them and leaving the aftermath of cleaning to them.

Both the duke and prime minister leave the tent of the royal couple and head towards to check on the preparation. Duke Taiwen was about to head to give final check on the security when he sees Pei Jin coming to him.

"Jin'er.. how come you are alone?" questions duke as Pei Jin reaches near him. "Yu'er is taking a bath.. did everything went well with the people?" answers and inquires Pei Jin.

"Everything went well..beside Xu Shiyou's entrouge the rest seem to have the mind of peace.. they were anxious, excited and eager to bond with us.. while huajin seemed confident, haughty and scheming.."expresses duke Taiwen from what he observed.

"Umm..benwang had guessed this result..as long as they are well behaved their emotions have nothing to do with us.. as for stupid ones benwang has ways to cure them" replies Pei Jin and turns back to his own tent.
