Finally Chen Yi from Nanling enters in the conversation "with respect to all the nations..though Nanling is doing better in current days but by no means are we restored in its full glory...known to all that years and years we have been plagued with heavy disasters in our three cities sharing one of the huajin border... each year we have to put aside vast amount of our funds and resources for these cities...

Because of this very reason we created the merchant association to relief some of our burden...with our own citizens to feed and soldiers to look after Nanling is also struggling to keep its treasury from depleting...currently we are trying and focusing to restore these three cities as our top priority...the fund we have invested in these cities are not small amount and like an endless pit it is still sucking more of our rescources and funds...

The geographic nature has left us no option to cultivate these lands and forcing us to place another batch of soldiers to act as their guardians in time of disasters....like huajin... Nanling too has many soldiers and civilians to provide for...even with pooling our funds from the entire Nanling it has been struggling for us because of these three cities...

with the winter on head we are forced to put our priority on these three cities hence as of current we are not able to divide our attention for any new developments..not to forget we already are lacking in manpower to keep up with the trades with two nations and restoration of the three cities..

We humbly apologize for till the end of this year...we cannot and are not able to provide further assistance to any nations as we ourselves are preparing for the imminent disaster...but we will reach out to all the nations once we have passed this dire situation at hand.."

Shiyou had once again dark face though expected still Nanling so cleverly rejecting their proposal. But he was also happy that Nanling beside his proposal also rejected further assistance to qing and khan. With Nanling acting as a victim and neutral party it was now the battle between three nations to meet with their demands.

Jisheng was calm with Nanlings answer as he already was in touch with Pei Jin but Anshi was anxious and unhappy. With Qing now trading with Nanling they for sure have accumulated quite raw materials to proceed and now also wanting to raise its walls was a good blow to both huajin and Khan.

If Qing manages to raise the walls then all the defected tribes acting as robbers will start to pillage their own kingdom which Khan wanted to avoid at any cost...not to forget huajin's so called spy acting as bandits will gnaw them to their bones.

Now khan had only two options either sucessfully stop Qing from raising it walls while they work on with the defecting tribes to surrender or finish them for good...or they also raise there own walls bordering both huajin and Qing taking the opportunity of isolation to purge their problem while seeking secret assistance from Nanling.

As for huajin they were hell bent as not to let either of two nations to raise there walls for them to be out of there sight and hearing. They definetly didn't want for either nations to rise up from their current level and prove to be another difficult foe to handle later.

All the envoys were now preparing to battle out and meet their demands. With each of them clear on the consequences they have to face later if failed they were pumped up to be the victor.

While the three nations were now about battle with their wits Nanling was calm and composed even waiting to enjoy the show. They wanted to use this opportunity to isolate huajin from the two nations completely. So that in near future when they face each other none from the two would or want to provide any assistance to huajin.

Specially the Khan who had been manipulated a lot by huajin to do their dirty work. Though they are distancing themselves from huajin but the future is unknown. Only when Khan raises its wall to huajin will they be truly out of Nanling's worry.

As khan would for sure rather turn to them for help than huajin thus enabling Nanling to place their own terms and conditions in return to helping them while also keeping eye on possible betrayal and back stabbing.

Hence while the three nations battle out they just need to maintain their neutral composure and only pushing the wind when the time is right.
