Purple seal

It was early in the morning when Pei Jin who was enjoying the warmth of his beloved in his arms was disturbed by his shadow guard. Yusheng moves from the noise so he quickly pats her back coaxing to her sleep.

After making sure she was asleep he very slowly slips out and with a dark face meets the person. Zan trembles from the chilly aura and dare not raise his head to look at his master. Pei Jin snarls at his guard "what is the matter?"

Zan curses his luck but still answers solemnly "wangye...letter with purple seal was sent..." Pei Jin raises his eyebrow and takes the sealed letter. He knew the message won't be well as the seal was personal seal of Jisheng only used for urgent matters.

Zan takes a long breath after Pei Jin enters back to the room with the letter, still without order he dare not leave thus guards the room. Pei Jin breaks the seal and upon reading the letter smirks and gives a mocking laugh.

He calmly folds the letter and orders his guard to leave and that he will summon when needed. He then moves toward the bed where Yusheng was sleeping soundly. He sits beside and with gentle eyes watches his sleeping beauty and after some time slips back in the bed to join her.

More than two hours later both couple were now seated on the dining room sipping on their tea. Pei Jin then speaks to her "this early morning..Jisheng has sent us letter of urgency..it seems his father is poisoned by hardening poison and unless you treat him can only wait for death..he is seeking your assistance.."

Yusheng had her eyebrows frowned upon hearing the news. Tapping her fingers on the table she answers "if it is hardening poison...then indeed their physicians are left helpless..interesting that there is someone who can even poison the emperor...what do you think?.."

Pei Jin who was playing with the rim of the cup replies "well..for Jisheng to send the letter with his personal seal indicates that the matter is really serious...but to happen now of all times smells heavy of scheme...and the only one to have a hand and mind behind is without a doubt Huajin..

Going through such effort to poison the emperor to lure you...this level of intellect...must be Mo Yan...we used to attend the same academy when younger...he is clear of the relation between me and Jisheng while he and I were just acquaintance...he was the quite but clever one...very intelligent and cautious...

There was a time when we played Qi where I found some of his hidden nature...though gentle he is a predator..a man who has the ability to calculate well...only after calculating he starts to lay his traps and foundations...and like of spider connects his thread to make a web to trap his prey..It seems huajin once again has started to sharpen its claws..."

Yusheng calmly listens to Pei Jin and after taking some time to digest the information expresses her view "gods eye did inform me of such person but not to depth...according to the letter the emperor seems to have been poisoned before the new year...by now he must be suffering a lot and most of the poison soaked in his veins and slowly spreading to the bones...

If I don't leave immediately then he for sure will die...with Jisheng being co operative we cannot sit back in time of his need and both of us cannot leave with huajin as a threat...vexing it is but we aren't left with any option..

I will travel to Qing and finish as soon as possible....use gods eye to look out for any dangers or anomalies...I will send a letter to first elder to have divine army and shadows in high alert to help you in times of urgency...though few but they are capable and with you on command enemy will for sure fall on their heads.."

Pei Jin though unwilling was forced to accept as the situation was so...hence after their discussion they start to prepare for Yusheng to travel to Qing. Yusheng had decided to go low key thus she only took Zhu geng and Liu Bai on this trip and after an hour they were already on their carriage moving.
