Life Gets Back To Normal...Ish
Lord Vader left only a few moments ago, Maz watches The Executor turn to the left and leave smoothly. A dull ache hits her heart she feels it get worse when the ship gets further away before it goes into hyperdrive like her ship will too.
She moves away from the window and heads back to her station.
As soon as she gets back an envelope was placed on her table. 'What is this?' she says to herself as she opens it up.

'Time focus and be back to normal' Maz says to herself.
*** 1 Month Later***
Everything was back to normal like nothing happened, Laura finally talked to Maz and all seems fine in the station, with a few missions here and there.

At her station suddenly a signal comes through and she starts doing what she does best, listening and jotting down each letter before the signal ends. She starts putting them all together.
'Hmmm' her mind thinks seeing all the other Ensigns just sitting and hunting through each through wavelength.

Miss Kirman it is Admiral Piett just wanted to check up on you as not heard back from you since we left. Lord Vader is also planning another visit very soon, but don't worry no investigations a new crew will be joining your ship.

Shocked by the message she pulls out the letter Piett left and tuned in to the signal and started to send a message back saying:

'Message sent' Maz says to herself her heart flutters making her feel all giddy, is she happy that Piett is coming? No her mind immediately went to Lord Vader himself. Soon she feels nervous 'what if he can feel my emotions from here?' Maz asks herself.
***Vader***
Walking to the bridge he sees Piett arrive with a little smile ''Lord Vader'' Piett greets while Vader waves his hand ''We have had a reply from Miss Kirman My Lord'' Piett then says ''Goood Admiral we shall set course as soon as the crew is ready'' Vader replies staring out the window seeing his fleet.
''My Lord the crew are ready already'' Piett replies back waiting for confirmation. Vader senses a wave of happiness wave through the force he has been using the force a lot more to hunt down any sign of discomfort to Maz he sensed her happiness but only very faintly, a smile grows across his hidden face as he feels his own heartbeat skip a beat making his breathing pick up a pace. ''Well what are you waiting for let's go'' Vader snaps hearing Piett rush to give the order.

Everyone was rushed to the docking bay for an announcement.
''I have called you all here today to inform you that Lord Vader Is visiting again, and no it's not an investigation, we have a new crew joining us.'' Admiral Razfar announces. Maz hears a few Ensigns grumble ''but he was only here a month ago'' lots rolled their eyes but for Maz excitement and the feeling of being safe is coming very soon.
''Admiral when is the estimated timing for this visit?'' someone says standing more upfront. ''glad you asked it was going to be next week but the visit has been hurried paced and they are arriving in 5 hours' time'' the Admiral replies as the whole crew gasps and panic of the new update.
''Omg 5 hours time'' Maz says allowed and Laura sees how happy she is, ''er Maz'' Laura nudges ''why you all excited for this visit?'' Laura asks quitely soon as Maz hears that she drops her mood ''erm I don't know, come on we better tidy our stations'' Maz replies hurrying Laura with her.
''I noticed when the last time he was here before he left he seemed different near you and I noticed you had an awe of lovestruck in your eyes'' Laura says chuckling making Maz freeze ''what did you say?'' Maz replies shocked of not knowing what that is, ''oh come on admit it'' Laura nudges and soon sees Maz's face to see she really is confused in her feelings. Maz swiftly pulls Laura aside ''Laura I don't know'' Maz then says seeing Laura trying not to butt in ''I was nervous and scared like we all are and then after the investigations and the party thing I felt safe when he was around'' Maz then says but Laura soon intervenes ''Maz Its love, I noticed since he's left you've been pining for him also I bet he's been the same to you hence the sudden returning to our ship from a month.'' Laura then says putting a hand on Maz's arm ''what you mean you bet he is the same?'' Maz asks wondering if he has these feelings too. ''I think so how he left and you were not there he never looks back and he did trying as I think to find you. Also, I was watching since the last time you met up and he seemed stranger'' Laura then says making Maz immediately laugh coming to her senses.
''No No this is Lord Vader he's cold, and evil he has no such feelings have you seen him with a woman?'' Maz snorts ''that isn't it I am being stupid'' Maz then says seeing Laura's eyes open wide. ''If you say so but I do think what I said is right.'' Laura then says before turning round and putting her arm around Maz as they head back.
''Hey, maybe shall we fix your hair and put a little makeup on you?'' Laura then says nudging her, ''hey don't even think about it'' Maz replies laughing as they depart ways.
***A Few Minuted Before Vaders Visit***
Everyone stood in line at the docking bay just in the distance The Executor is and a small vessel comes closer to sight.
Everyone becomes quiet and our new Admiral is in position ready to greet the Lord.
''Here we go'' Laura whispers nudging Maz
The vessel lands and the hatch opens a gust of smoke exits and stormtroopers appear from behind is. There is quietness before the sound of mechanical breathing and heavy footsteps appear. Maz's heart pounds in her chest as she watched Razfar goes down on one knee and bows to Lord Vader who acknowledges and asks him to stand. As they walk Maz's eyes are fixed on Vader and suddenly Vaders was fixed on hers making her blush slightly and look back forwards. She feels a warmth go through her.
As soon as Vader leaves the crew departs going back to their stations Maz sees Laura smiling at her ''please don't'' Maz says but suddenly she sees Piett coming towards her. She straightens her back. ''Admiral it nice to see you again'' Maz then says seeing Piett smile. Laura stays close. ''Miss Kirman great to see you I must ask you to follow me'' Piett replies offering her a hand.
''Where am I going?'' Maz asks nervously to what is going on. ''Don't worry I have been ordered from Lord Vader to get you ready for a party'' Piett replies hurrying her to a room already set with dresses and make-up and hair artists. ''A party?'' Maz replies confused why there is one and where? ''Lots of questions Miss we need to hurry while Lord Vader is talking to the Admiral he will be back to take you to The Executor for the party you may need to tell me which guest your taking'' Piett then says quickly his hand rolling coaxing Maz to answer quick. ''er er Laura'' Maz said in no time and as soon as she answered the door was shut and dresses getting pulled in front of her.
It did not take long for Maz to be ready she chosen a red dress with a fine little glitter and heels to match and the make-up hairdresser did not take long to be ready. The door opens Piett stands seeing Maz ready a smile hit across his face and there standing next to him is Laura she's dressed up as well, Maz smiles. ''Me and Laura will be behind you on another ship, you are going with'' Piett says and turns Maz around and there standing is Lord Vader his helmet more shinier than usual. Maz has the urge to run upto him but she composes herself.
''Go on then Maz go up to him'' Laura says nudging her, everything seems to be going on a fast pace, as Maz walks her heels click on the flooring wondering if she will slip from each step.
***Maz POV***
My Heart flutters as I get closer I feel him staring down at me I look back and I see Laura and Piett hurrying to their ship. Maz gets closer and closer till.
''Misss Kirman great to see you once again'' Vader says as he offers his hand to help me up the ramp his voice sends tingles down my spine. ''Same to you Vader'' I reply as soon I feel his hand place just above my side of my hip helping me walk up or was this his way of feeling if I am what he is thinking 'falling in love'.
I find where I need to sit and I scoop my dress and sit down suddenly a stormtrooper fastens me in and Vader takes a seat next to me. The noise of the engine rearing up and we are soon in the air.
My heart fluttering I could feel like I could pass out, 'is Laura right am I in love?' I say to myself as I find myself gazing into my reflection in Vaders mask.
It did not take us long to arrive I was unbuckled and guided down the ramp, which made me realize it meant to be Vader first, I saw looks on people's faces seeing me a woman coming out with Vader just right behind me. I step aside music in the background I wait till I can move Vader comes to my side and offers me a hand and we walk to where the music is playing
I hear mutters of people talking but I feel a hand touch my back to carry on moving. ''Lord Vader what is all this for?'' I ask seeing him be closer to me we was nearly touching leg to leg, it was then I realized how tall he his, his belt just touched above my hip to waist area. ''As a token of gratitude for helping meee in the investigations'' Vader replies I was about to reply still I hear Laura shout and wave, I wave back.
The dance floor was full there is a put up bar where seemingly all the troops are standing around with a drink in hand. I feel a gloved finger slide up my hand making me look up. ''You can go to your friends if you like, come up here when you need me'' Vader then says leaving me where I was standing, I wathed is cape flow behind him as he makes his way to a chair what is more like a throne.
I walk to Laura and I see Piett standing right near her, with a second drink in hand. ''Thank you for letting me be your guest'' Laura shouts as the music booms ''It's ok'' I reply grabbing the drink Piett offered, ''I must admit In my years of serivice I have never been to a party like this'' Piett shouts looking to the dance floor.
''Well has he said anything?'' Laura questions I look at her I feel my cheeks heat up, ''no but he did put his hand on my waist'' I reply ''ah yes and how close you two was walking it was soo couple like'' Laura replies nudging Piett who was smiling. ''Your the talk of the show by the way'' Piett says taking a drink, ''I must warn you, you might be in contest with a few women here'' he warns making my heart sink a little. ''Piett can I ask you something?'' I reply, he nods. ''What do you know?'' I question seeing Piett look at Laura. Clearing his throat ''Since we got back to The Exceuctor Lord Vader has not been the same, he's been more strict, and less strict. It goes in waves but I'm sure he's been distracted. Aslo he admitted to me he has feelings he's never felt for long time.'' Piett replies making me want more.
''Has he had a woman before?'' I ask seeing Piett shrug, ''not as far as I'm aware, The Emperor sometimes holds consort parties to get Lord Vader to take a consort and well you know the rest. But he always came back empty handed and angrier. I remember him telling me he has no time or feelings for that sort of thing'' Piett then finished before taking another seat.
'hmm' my minds begins to think.
''It was Lord Vader who ordered us to be a week early, and to hold this heck of a party.''Piett then says seeing me thinking. I look over to see Vader sat in his throne watching, I can feel his stare.
''Hey get that down you theres plenty where that came from'' Laura says I down my drink and make my way to the bar.
''What you like miss?'' the bartender says ''can I have... sex on the beach please'' I ask and soon as I said that the DJ shouts it ''SEX ON THE BEACH SEX ON THE BEACH OVER HERE!!'' I look at Laura who was laughing. ''Here you go Miss enjoy'' the bartender hands me my blue with a red mini umbrella cocktail.
***Few Hours Later***
I find myself merry and on the dance floor when I see Vader still sat 'oh I forgot' I say to myself I walk up to Laura and whisper well shout in her ear, ''I'm going up I forgot I might be needed up there'' I see Laura turn ''yeah chick go'' she nudges me and I make my not so easy way up the stairs.
Taking one step I feel like I missed two I get up the stairs with my drink still in hand and make my way to Vader who was already stood up waiting for me.
''My Lord'' I say drunkley as I try and bow but find myself nearly falling. ''Little one'' Vader replies holding me up and sitting me down. I sip my drink as I find my not able to control hand move closer to Vaders seated hand. ''Are you ok little one?'' Vader asks making me jump. ''Yes I'm ok'' I reply feeling heat rush through me. Suddenly I see a woman all dressed up I take a closer look, its a consort, my heart begins to sink. I notice she's heading our way I put my drink down ready to leave if things go pear shaped.
I see Vader still sat not moving as she makes her way to him she looks at me giving me an evil stare as she goes to try and touch him, but as soon as she tries Vader stops her. ''What are you doing here'' Vader booms, ''You know why I am here I am your meant to be consort to bear you a child yet you have not even visted me nor touched me, and I see you here with her.'' The woman says I lose eye contact this is not what I need to hear. I feel Vader's hand touch mine and squeeze as he stands up. ''You have no reason to be here nor to be speaking to my Ensign like that'' Vader booms the music stops and everyone stares. 'Did he just say I'm his?' I ask myself as I feel the tension and everyones eyes on us. I see Laura with her mouth covered by her hands an Piett quickly rushing to the scene. Laura soon follows.
''Your Ensign might as well call her your bitch, I've heard youve been yearning for her'' the consort says staring directly at me, I gulp as I stand up I feel like its time to leave I see Laura standing near the stairs, the drunk feeling I was having soon disappearing. Suddenly I see her lifted up in the air by an invisble force, 'the thing everyone is scared of' I say to myself as I edge to the side and slowly make my way to Laura. Troopers gathers with guns lifted.
''You Dare call my woman a BITCH!'' Vader yells making everyone jump, I stop at my tracks my heart fluttering with terror and shock from hearing him call me his woman I manage to get to Laura when I heard the consort gurgle for breath and suddenly a snapping sound of her neck being broken. A thud came later and all the room was silent, lots covering there eyes lots frozen in their spots. I look at Laura not beliving what I just saw.
''Maz'' I hear Vader say his voice back to normal but I couldn't look round something was stopping me to look at the kill scene my heart pounding in my chest flight mode was rushing through my body. 'Thats who he is a killer' my minds says as I hear him say my name again, I suddenly lept down the stais running as my dress flows behind me trying to catch up. I hear Laura following suit. ''Maz'' Laura yells ''Maz stop'' she shouts again but I couldn't stop running I carried on till I was out of breathe a far away as the party.
Holding onto the rail gasping for air and tears streaming down my face I bail a loud cry, I feel my heart being torn apart. I feel Laura put her arms around me as I keep crying.
''It's ok'' I hear her say ''It's ok'' I push myself off her as I wipe the tears and make-up what is not ruined. ''He.. he just killed her'' I say hearing Laura grunt ''she desereved it'' she replies ''but you did not need to see it'' she then said. I hear Piett come and take her off Laura.
''No need to be upset its all done now'' Piett said as I look at him ''even if she was his consort she did not need to die'' I reply and see Piett scrunch his face. ''She wasn't his never was, she was crazy about him and would not get the answer no'' Piett replied, that made me feel a little better. I soon hear Vader in the background I feel him not moving not wanting to ge near. ''Miss please go to him he didn't think and acted on instinct I think he's realized how much of a soft soul you are'' Piett then said pulling me into a hug and then wipe my face with a tissue he had on him.
I look and I see Vader standing there his hands relaxed and one holding out as an offering, I look at Laura and she nods me to go. I make my way to him my heels clanging on the floor the corridor echoing as still the music is not been turned back on.
I hold my hand out and Vader takes it my heart still pounding. ''I apologise'' Vader says leading me away from everyone . ''Maz I need to tell you my feeling, if your not the same I understand and I will not take offense.'' he then says I look up to him ''go on'' I reply ''I have never fallen for anyone I never have time for that. But when I saw you when I was investigating the case on Kronn all that changed.'' Vader then says quickly looking down at me and then looking back up ''since coming back to my ship I feel empty that something is missing and yearning I feel I have found back an thats you.'' He then finishes stopping and turning to me it took me a few steps till I stopped my heart stopped at the same time if this is what dying from shock overdose then I know what it feels right now.
''Maz, will you join me and together we can rule galaxy together?'' Vaders asks watching him do his hand clench in the air action. It did not take me long to think as my mind already answered. ''YES oh yes'' I reply running up to him I immedtiatley go hug him, I feel him hunch over and grasp me in a hug with his cape closing in like a door.
''V. I love you I finally know what it is'' I say realizing i even more shortened his name I hear my chuckle ''I love you too'' I feel something lift me up and I feel a kiss on my forehead.
''Shall we go back to the party?'' Vader asks me and I nod.
I am excited to tell Piett and Laura the news or probably they already know.
As we walk back we lock hands I feel like a little child as love over runs my body, we brush fingers together and I notice his are little different in them gloves.
