Chapter 1

Author's POV

Kang Y/N, a 22 year old girl with a childish dream of skydiving.

She doesn't have any parents had a really difficult past, as she saw her parents being burnt to death right in front of her eyes, at the age of 17. Due to this she developed this phobia for fire, however along with the phobia, this brutal accident made her emotionally strong.

Y/N's POV

My parents' death was not an accident it was a murder and i know that, but no one believes that, they think the accident affected my brain that i started imagining things but i know i'm not going crazy. I-i saw that-that night someone running away from our backyard, when the house was caught on fire.

We had a trampoline at the front garden of the house, and my parents threw me out of the window when the fire was out of control. I was saved by the trampoline, but my parents lost their lives, their were so many things we planned together, but we couldn't-couldn't accomplish any of them.

There are only two people i hate the most, and they are: one the murderer of my parents, and the second one is my brother who left us when i was 11 and he was 16, he never returned. I loved my parents the most in this whole world, and he made them cry, they cried every night thinking about him,which made my hate increase day by day for him.

I got out of the orphanage at the age of 18, with this girl named Anna she became my best friend as her mission was similar to mine, her parents were also murdered and she wanted revenge from the murderer so we decided to live together when we leave this place. After we left, we straight away, started looking for a job. The orphanage provided us with a small but alright apartment. We started a job at this local convenience store. Its been 5 years we worked there, and we became really close with the owner, that when he died he had no one to give the store to, in his family so he passed it to us, so we became joint owners.

My passion of doing skydiving made Anna also like skydiving, we have been saving up for such a long time, that now it was time for us to actually try skydiving for the first and maybe last time. We reached the place where we had to do skydiving, there were already 3 boys and 1 girl there. Obviously we couldn't do it on our own, as we were not experienced, therefore we had to go with the instructors. After being explained everything, we sat waiting for someone to call us in. We got along with the girl named Aurelia really well. She was really cheery and excited, as it was her first time experiencing as well.

The instructor came in: " ehm.. Girls i'm really sorry, but we have not got enough instructors today, as it was a day off, but due to your requests we allowed it, do you girls perhaps want to come tomorrow, i can book you for tomorrow without any extra payments if its fine with you guys?"

I got really angry because we cannot come tomorrow or the whole week, due to our store. so i ended up asking: "well, those guys are also going, we can go after them , when the instructors come down with them?" All 3 guys were wearing masks, looked directly at me,as if i said something stupid or utterly wrong.

Instructor: " Young Lady, those guys right there come every week here, therefore they are trained properly, meaning they do not need any instructors."

I awkwardly nodded and looked down and, then simply said: " Oh, well in that case, it's okay, can we get our money back, I don't think we will be able to come tomorrow or any other day, today is our only day off"

I felt so angry and upset, that I couldn't do skydiving and complete my childhood wish, Anna was equally annoyed. We were about to leave when...

Aurelia: " Actually, if they obviously don't mind then, can we not go with them as if they are the instructors.... oh please please.... prettyplease...."

She didn't let anyone speak and kept on pleading...

The instructor looked at the guys, and then one with blondish hair....



looked at his friend and said:" Hey, guys listen I think it's okay if we do it with them today, we do it alone every week, anyways, I don't think so it would hurt to do with them this once"

This other guy nodded, and stepped forward....



and encouraged the 3rd one, who still looked, sooo mad, and you could easily see that through his eyes, even if his face was hidden behind the mask. The boy with the black beanie, held Mr Cold Eyes hand and just said a sweet please, and he literally nodded. BRUH WHAT A FRIENDSHIP!!!!

Mr Cold Eyes came forward and nodded at The instructor...



The blonde hair guy practically ran to Aurelia and asked if she wanted to the skydiving with him, she straight up agreed.

I was still in a shocked state. The black beanie guy came forward, I was praying he asks me I didn't wanted to go with Mr Cold Eyes.

But luck wasn't on my said he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand and, shyly asked Anna, if she wanted to go with him, for skydiving, if it was any other day, I would have squealed at the cuteness but I was too worried about my own position with Mr Cold Eyes. Anna simply nodded with a shy smile. She hugged me and quickly walked away with the beanie guy.

The instructor followed the other 2 to give them some instruction which I reckon we will be given as well. Mr Cold Eyes said nothing but:

"V"

"Y/N" , I said in the exact same tone he used for me, cold and somewhat dominant laced with arrogance.

He stared at me for a few seconds, and I being the really strong one, stared back. But looked away, when I felt it got too awkward, I saw a glint of happiness in his eyes as if the staring was a competition and he won it.

The instructor soon came back, to give us the instructions: " Right you two, the other 2 pairs are getting ready for skydiving, Y/N you have have to follow the exact same way, it was shown in the video, understood?"

" yes sir" I said with a lot of enthusiasm.

He then looked at Mr cold eyes, I have no intentions of calling him "V", he has cold eyes therefore deserves the name, and said: " Sir, she's new therefore you have to ensure she's in the right posture to skydive, as you obviously know the proper way to skydive"

Mr Cold eyes nodded

" You will be on top of her and she will be un-under you, as she'snottrained"

Mr Cold Eyes again JUST nodded

arghhh this is going to be so weird....
