17- I’m sorry who?!

"I'm sorry Sirius- the mass murderer Sirius." I gasped clutching. Lupin began to tell me the whole story about how my father was framed and the whole story. I thought lupin was off this rocker but then he showed me a photo that when you look at it from a different angle wormatail-Peter Pettigrew-scabbers was the one who killed all those muggles and faked his own death. I wanted to march right up the the castle and strangle rons 'rat' to death. Lupin told me not to say anything about it. I was showing him all the cool stuff I could do when I realised I was late for care of magical creatures. Lupin said it was fine and

that he will go with me to explain why I was late. We walked over to see my class with a hippogriff I knew exactly what they were as I was now reading all about magical creatures. Everyone stared to look at me and lupin as we walked in. Hagrid walked over to us and Lupin explained that it was ok and that I was with him. The class had just started anyway, so luckily I didn't miss anything. The hippogriff made exact eye contact with me and walked towards me making me drop my books. Hagrid turned around and told me not to move and to just bow. Everyone behind me was gasping and shaking. I held out my hand and the hippogriff put its head in my hands as I talked to it. Hagrid was speechless he couldn't think of anything to say. He picked me up and put me on buckbeaks back I was trying to say that I didn't want to go but before I could say anything Harry was jolted onto it's back and we lifted into the air. Harry had his face planted into my back not wanting to look. I was different I was enjoying every moment. I was yelling at harry to look and when he did we were both shouting and laughing. When we landed everyone ran up to us and was giving us high fives. We all settled down when Malfoy decided to walk up to buckbeack and insult him.

"Oh yeah you're not so scary are you you big ugly brute." Buckbeack reared up and was about to strike when I ran out and held his head in my arms and was comforting him. He was beginning to calm down when Malfoy pushed me over and spat,

"Look Black no one likes a show off." Buckbeak clearly didn't like that I was on the ground as she scratched Malfoys arm as he fell to the floor. Hagrid took him to the hospital wing as I brought buckbeak down to his pen. I had a free period so I just stayed with buckbeak. Harry, Ron and Hermione all came up to me after the lesson ended when I was brushing buckbeak.

"Hey how did you do that?" Harry asked starting the whole conversation off,

"Yeah it's like he listens to you," added Hermione and then Ron finished

"How come you can do that and we cant?" I didn't know what to say so I just said that maybe I have a gift or something I don't know. When Hagrid came down from the hospital wing he saw me with buckbeak brushing out his feathers.

"Hey holly be careful." Hagrid started as he slowly ran to the pen.

"Why Hagrid, he's harmless." I softly spoke still stroking his wings. When Hagrid began to speak,

"You really have a gift with magical creatures, don't you." I laughed and nodded. He offered that I could come down here anytime and with the creatures in the forest during my free time. I obviously didn't refuse. After a while I said bye to Hagrid as I walked away from his hut. I could tell buckbeak was sad that I was leaving but I promised him I would be back soon and I would bring food. I jogged back up to the castle. When I saw the trio talking. I completely forgot that they were going to hogsmede as care of magical creatures was the only lesson we had today. They were talking about something. When I got closer I realised they were talking about me.

"No Hermione her father betrayed my parents and that's why they're dead, she's dangerous we can't be friends with her." Harry shouted but quietly so no one would hear. The next voice I heard was Ron's

"I agree, and to think we actually took her in she's no sister of mine she's a murderer." My heart shattered I wasn't a murderer and neither was my dad it was Ron's stupid rat person thing. But what came out of Hermione broke my heart to the limit It couldn't be fixed.

"She's freaky, why are we even friends with her, she'll probably loose control of her powers of something and kill us and her weird cat. I pretend to like it but honestly come on. I mean she used to be nice but now she's just changed. She should've stayed broken." Those last four words rang over in my mind over and over again. I stood out of my hiding space. My face red from crying. They all just looked at me. Hermione began to say that they didn't mean it and they were just angry but I couldn't stay I just ran passed them and up to Lupins classroom. Luckily he wasn't teaching or I would've burst in on a load of seventh years or something. He looked at me surprised that I had come to his office. He saw that I was crying and just hugged me. He was my uncle, well not by blood but he was still family and that's all that counted to me. He offered to help me work on my powers including my potronus. We stayed in his office for hours just laughing and talking about when my dad and him were little and they used to come to hogwarts. He explained that my class has him for DADA tomorrow. I couldn't wait. DADA with my uncle. Remus had explained to me that he was a werewolf and that he had to take wolfsbane potion every month. I wasn't surprised when he told me he was a werewolf and I didn't love him any less. I just had to make sure he took his potion. I left his classroom as I was nearly going to be late quidditch practice. Wood had let me back on the team which I was so happy about. I now had my new nimbus 2 thousand to ride. I hadn't really got a chance as I didn't come to school for a year. I ran down to the quidditch pitch and got changed quickly into my quidditch robes and cleaned my broom. Harry walked into the room as his eyes went to me. He could tell that I'd been crying but I don't care he deserves to see how much they all hurt me. He tried to walk over to me but I just got up and went over to wood.

"Right Gryffindor against Hufflepuff tomorrow, be ready, and I'd like to welcome back one of our most exceptional flyers Holly Black." I took a dramatic bow as everyone clapped and laughed. Harry just sat in the corner but I didn't care about him right now. We went to training and I scored most of the goals gaining us 90 points. Wood gave me a hug as we landed and said that he was glad to have me back on the team. The team had a group hug including George and Fred. They told me that they didn't care about my father and that I was nothing like him. I wish I could tell them that he was innocent but I just can't not yet anyway. I changed back into my robes as I headed down to Hagrids. I was greeted by fang but Hagrid wasn't in the house he was by buckbeak.

"How's my favourite Hippogriff"I cooed as I rubbed his head.

"He's being sentenced to death, Lucius Malfoy declared it himself." I could tell that Hagrid was crying and I didn't want to cry as I wanted to me strong for the both of us. But I couldn't help it. My heart sank. Out of everything that's happened to me today this is definitely the worst by far. I stood with Hagrid for a while before he told me that I had to go up as it was dinner. And curfew would be soon. I hugged Hagrid and then buckbeak as I made my way to the castle.

I was a bit late into dinner but I didn't care. Everyone could tell that I had been crying and Hermione ran up to me. She tried to grab my hand to make sure I was ok but I yanked my arm out of her grip before saying,

"Well like you said I'm just broke aren't I" I stormed up the great hall and sat next to Angelina Johnson, she was a good friend of mine since we were the only girls except from Katie bell on the team. She could tell I was upset so she just put an arm around me.

After dinner to avoid going straight to the common room I went to Lupins office. He was with Snape and he was drinking some sort of potion. Snape gave me a concerned look but I just answered looking towards at Lupin.

"Wolfsbane by any chance Moony?" Remus just laughed as Snape walked out the classroom.

"Hey Remus, can I write a letter to my dad, I'll use code of course." I added onto the end

He nodded handing me a piece of parchment.

I began to write

Dear padfoot,

Moony has told me all about you, and you're my father, this may come as a shock but I have a few announcements I am a pyrokinisis, I am a animagus, I take the form of a grey wolf just slightly smaller than you padfoot and I can understand and talk to animals. Well I think that's all about me. I can't wait to me you. Moony has told me so much about you, I love you.

I handed the letter to Lupin as I hugged him goodnight as he said

"Accalia, I love it fits right in Moony, Padfoot and Accalia to wolf pack." I laughed as I left and made my way to the common room, somewhere I hoped I would never have to go.
