Going back to the cobblestone path I couldn't help but let my mind wander while I walked to my next destination. Seeing as I literally exited a place that used to be a magic university my thought eventually went to the subject of magic. There are two types of magic in the elder scrolls universe, the normal magic that uses mana or magika to power up spells and cast them, and then we have the tonal magic.

[Tonal Magic] is a weird thing because saying it is simple magic is doing it a complete disservice. [Tonal Magic] is closer to reality-bending anything. Well, everyone has a specific tone and the [Tonal Magic] is the magic that permits you to mess with these tones changing reality itself. [Tonal Magic] comes in various forms like; [Tonal Architecture], [Thu'um], [Sword Singing], [Kiai], and a bunch of others.

You can become really overpowered with [Tonal Magic], as it is shown by this mountain. Yep, this mountain was made with [Tonal Magic], or at least the most important parts were. The statue had those weird dragon tongue inscriptions, the plaque at the bank too. And seeing as the power of [Tonal Magic] is a pretty big deal in the Elder Scrolls universe, I am not surprised that future me was called the Supreme King.

My thought process was interrupted when I saw the next place drawing closer, reaching the stone plaque I was able to read:

[Arcana Library]

A library, quite a huge one by what I am able to deduce from here, well I can only see its blur form from here so I guess I will need to get closer to it to investigate.

Investigating the library was, strange. The library was just a very big building at least 10 stories tall, incredibly large, like almost a kilometer large. Everything was going fairly normal and I was seeing everything I already expected, stone. Yep, it's understandably getting boring as fuck seeing stone non-stop, everything I go I only see polished stones or other forms of stone shaped things, there is literally nothing here, again.

As if God heard my prayers, when I arrived in the middle of the Library I saw something breathtaking. Until now I was walking in this vast please with a bunch of empty stone bookshelves, with literally nothing different so far. But when I arrived in the middle of the library I found a wall.

This wall was huge, really huge. It was at least five meters tall and incredibly large, almost as large as the building itself. When is aw it afar I just thought it was a simple wall to divide things in the middle, but when I got closer I saw it for what it truly was. A history wall.

This wall apparently tells the history of someone incredibly important to Mt.Arcana. And it's me. Or more specifically this alternative version of me that became the Supreme King. When I saw that my curiosity was immediately picked, and is tart to fervently look and engrave the entirely of the wall in my memory with the help of my ever-active [Sharingan]. And seeing that this wall has a bunch of dragon tongue runes I believe it's extremely important too.

The wall started strange, really strange. The first imaged engraved on the stone wall a dragon, a broken dragon. It looked incredible exquisite, it looked like the dragon was made of glass, and someone shot him in the middle, thus breaking him. But that wasn't the end of it, I was under the dragon. But the me under the dragon was armorless and looked way younger than the one in the statue. He looked exactly like I am right now. But there were some strange weird lines between me and the broken dragon, it was almost like I fell from the sky and passed through the dragon, thus breaking it.

Wait...

Broken Dragon...

Dragon Break...

Fuck... Does this mean that my arrival here caused a fucking Dragon Break? If that happened it would at least explain this Mt.Arcana situation somewhat. But damn, a Dragon break...

Dragon Break is a way to say that time itself Broke. The name of this event is a reference to Akatosh the Dragon God of Time and the father of all dragons. So when we say Dragon Break, it means that the aspect of Time the Dragon Akatosh, Broke.

A Dragon Break is something extremely confusing yet extremely simple. When A Dragon Break occurs, Time is broken and split into multiple timelines which results in branching parallel realities where the same events occur differently, or not at all. And when everything ends and time is able to repair itself, everyone is utterly confused.

You see, Dragon Breaks are utterly incomprehensible to all people they affect, save for a select few exceptions. After being affected by a break, most people are prone to forget the event ever even occurred, dismissing it off as nonsensical, despite intense feelings of spiritual anguish they cannot account for. Some people can even die in one of the many split timelines, but still ultimately remain alive at the end when time repairs itself and resumes its normal course.

And seeing that my arrival in this reality probably caused a dragon Break almost drained all the color of my face. Akatosh is bound to notice he being literally broken like that. Fuck, every possible deity in this reality has probably felt that.

*Sigh* It's useless to keep worrying about something I can't change like that. Better I concentrate in the now.

Passing through the Dragon Break part of the wall I continued observing it. Apparently, I wandered the desert for a long time surviving on some strange animals and plants. After that, I was apparently ambushed by some slavers and was captured.

After that, I worked as a slave for some time, but ultimately helped for a rebellion and killed every one of the slavers. The engraving of me leading a bunch of people who still have chained limbs was particularly breathtaking.

After that, the next part was just me going on a great number of journeys and getting progressively stronger and stronger. How do I know that? My armor kept getting better and better after each journey. After that comes Skyrim. Yup, I doubt someone like me would ignore going to that place, there are simply too many opportunities and interesting things there to simply ignore.

The next engraving is me and probably the Dragonborn fighting that the first Dragon outside of Whiterun, apparently I formed some kind of team with the Dragonborn and we continued on the quests together. How do I know it is the Dragonborn? He has that characteristic helmet and armor, that is probably impossible to not associate with the Dragonborn. And the fact that the next engraving showed him absorbing the Dragon Soul only confirmed my previous assumption.

The next parts were some engravings of us doing random missions, like the thieves guild, the College of Winterhold, the civil war, destroying the Dark Brotherhood, learning shouts from the greybeards. We went on a lot of adventures and quests together. And then it came, the battle against Alduin.

Alduin looked more menacing than I remember, his spiked scales almost jumping out from the stone wall, it was like even his engraving itself wanted to kill me. But thankfully, I and the Dragonborn were stronger, and thus we were able to defeat Alduin.

The next shot was an engraving of us being paraded as heroes in the streets of what I presume is Solitude. After that, the next shot was simply me observing the Dragonborn beheading Ulfric. I could swear on that shot I looked somewhat concerned with something... the future threats perhaps?

The next engraving was about the Downguard, I easily recognized their characteristic armor and crossbows. In this shot, both I and the Dragonborn joined the Downguard and went doing some minor missions for them.

The next shot was me and the Dragonborn being surrounded by a circle of fire, and in the middle of this circle, there was a strange metallic coffin. The next Shot Showed me and the Dragonborn helping Serana return to the Volikar castle, and us intimately refusing Harkon's "Gift".

The next shot was us reuniting with Serana and her officially joining the party. The engraving showed me the Dragonborn and Serana formed a team and tackled the entire Downguard questline.

The next part was us going to the Soul Cairn. Apparently, we had quite a discussion and I ended up having to act like a guard to the portal while the Dragonborn and Serana went into the Soul Cairn. And by what the engravings are showing the Dragonborn apparently didn't choose to become a vampire, using the soul trap method instead.

The next shot was apparently Serana and the Dragonborn returning a long time after. But the Dragonborn was represented differently, the horns on his helmet were broken right now... That gotta be a bad sign and I know it.

The next shot was us recovering the Auriel bow and the fact that both Serana and the Dragonborn apparently didn't trust me with it. I acted way more mature than I remembered and ignored it for the most part.

The next Shot was the Dragonborn shooting the Auriel bow and killing Harkon in his vampire lord form. The horns of the Dragonmbron helmet seem even more broken and cracked right now. And my red flag senses are going haywire just from seeing something like that.

The next shot was another hero parade in the Dawguard castle. But instead of being together with the Dragonborn and Serana, I was more at the back like I was slowly distancing myself from what I supposed were my friends.

In the next shot, I appeared to be older, and my armor looked like the dragon bone armor. I was with the Dragonborn and Serana and we were fighting some cultists, probably the start of the Miraak questline.

I continued looking at the wall and I was proven right when in the next shot appeared me, Serana, and The Dragonborn reading one of the black books. But when it comes to entering Apocrypha I apparently stayed behind, I know how dangerous my knowledge in the hand of someone like Hermaeus Mora is.

Apparently, both Serana and the Dragonborn didn't like that. Our tension and already fragile relationship only worsened with us growing more and more distant.

We continued the missions, and every shot I saw I could see I grew more distant from the Dragonborn and Serana. And after all these missions came the last shot of the Miraak questline. I was heavily wounded, but both the Dragonborn and Serana looked fine. In the engraving I was hunching over with some blood dripping out of my wounds, my Dragonbone armor was partially destroyed, I looked absolutely wrecked. The Dragonborn was with a triumphant pose while he absorbed all of Miraak. Serana looked kinda troubled about something.

I can probably deduce that I suffered a lot in this fight and the fact that e fight Miraak in the Hermaeus Mora realm definitely didn't help me one bit. And seeing how wounded, exhausted, and an overall wreck I am in this engraving, I assume that I probably had to do most of them fighting.

The next shot was something I already expected to happen. It was a shot of me and the Dragonborn fighting, the fighting grew more and more heated in the next engravings until I was impaled into the chest and tossed into the sea.

But the most surprising thing was that at the bottom of the sea a Broken Dragon was engraved. Another frigging Dragon Break? Shouldn't those be somewhat rare? But I guess that kind of makes sense, technically the last thing we do as the Dragonborn in the game is Killing Miraak. So I guess a Dragon Break happening is somehow understandable. This is the halfway point in the wall, the middle of the story if you will.

The next shot is of me being found by a boat, and my wounds tended by a strange Redguard. After that, there were some shots of em recuperating and helping the Redguard pirates in some conflicts. apparently, I developed a friendship with those Redguards and we formed a crew. The next images are those of our crew growing and growing, we added more and more boats and suddenly we had become a small fleet, our fleet grew each shot, and suddenly we had become a force to be reckoned with and feared.

The next shot is of me capturing a Man o' war alone, and subsequently becoming the highest leader of the fleet. The next engraving is about the Dragonborn repelling and defeating the Aldmeri Dominion advances and being crowned High King. It was quite the beautiful engraving, in there it showed the Dragonborn fighting against a bunch of elves, then he being paraded as a hero and subsequently crowned the High King.

The next engraving was of me at the front of a fairly big Man o' war, and behind me, there was at least fourteen more Man o' wars. I had become the biggest fleet in the entirely know world. And looking at the engraving I had a bounty that was in the billions of gold pieces, the funny thing is that bounty was engraved as if I had framed it as some sort of trophy.

The next shot was of my fleet finding an island, this island was extremely familiar, a place I definitely knew. And when I saw a giant mountain in the middle of the island I immediately connected the dots. It was Mt. Arcana.

The next shots were of me establishing a settlement on the island. The next one was about constructing a more permanent base. The third one was about the mages of the fleet building houses and more houses of stone. The next one showed that e started to build some sort of residential district around Mt.Arcana quickly populating the area. The next one was about us starting to build Mt.Arcana. The next one Mt. Arcana was halfway built. And then finally, the next shot shows the Mt.Arcana completed like it is today.

The next shots were of the arcana island getting more and more filled with people. The next engraving was of us declaring ourselves to the World and becoming our own nation. The next shot was of me be crowned the Supreme King and the statue I saw in the base of Mt.Arcana being built.

The next shot was of em slow expanding and developing my kingdom. Apparently, I also introduced them to numerous technological innovations, and according to the next shots, we even discovered a way of fusing technology with magic. And suddenly we were one of the most prosperous Kingdoms in the world. We had the biggest fleets, one of the biggest military, the best economical situation by far, and a lot of grievances to vent.

Then came the age of conquest. I was already adorned in the same armor is aw in my statue, in my hand a huge spear, the spear looked somewhat like Odin's Gungnir, but it had a bigger head, it was more accurate to tell it was a mix between a spear and a halberd.

The first target of my campaign was the Summerset Isles, it was one of the easiest due to the Elves already being weakened, it was a fast conquest and soon our nation of Arcana expanded. Our next Target was Hammerfell, and that was the easiest one. Most of my population were composed of Redguards and people from there, so it was just a matter of asking nicely, killing some bureaucrats that got into the way and Hammerfellw as mine.

My next target then was High Rock, this one was a bit more difficult than Hammerfall. the nobles appeared to be a pain in the ass, but I was in no way a merciful conqueror, their heads were soon rolling.

After acquiring High Rock is slowed down a bit. I gave my nation some time to breathe and to recuperate from our expeditions. Years passed and the world shifted to accommodate my rising empire, alliances and betrayal were woven in equal parts, rebellions in the Summerset Islands were quelled multiple times.

I looked middle-aged right now, I was older, wiser, and way stronger. My nation apparently developed, it grew economically and socially, but apparently, we were still a very warrior focused culture, but I gave the maximum of freedom I could to my subject, principally when it comes to magic apparently my future self can't sue it, but he still didn't put some dumb regulation like prohibiting levitation magic or other kind stupid regulation. I made sure rebuilt and developed every nation under my banner, and so we prospered. And twenty years later I launched another campaign.

All this time the rest of the world didn't stop. The Dragonborn Became the new Emperor of the broken and decaying empire, while some regions like Morrowind simply maintained themselves out of the mess.

My first move of the second wave was to capture Valenwood and Elsweyr. It was something relatively easy as they were before allied with my now Summerset Islands. This abrupt advance of mien took the empire by surprise so they were slow to retaliate granting us an easy victory.

So right now the Empire only had Skyrim, Cyrodiil, Black Marsh, And Morrowind as a neutral party. While I had all the other nations. Our war was legendary, rivers and rivers of blood flowed. Millions and millions of people died in what would later be known as WW1.

And after three years of fighting, everything boiled down to just one fight. In the plains of Cyrodiil, it was me versus the Dragonborn, spear versus sword. Our fight was epic, it was monumental, it was legendary, but thankfully I was able to wind in the end with an unexpected spear throw.

The engraving of my spear impaling the Dragonborn on his right chest was something extremely satisfying to see. It was like I was seeing an alternative em finally reaching his vengeance. But when I saw the engraving of a Broken Dragon, I finally discovered that things aren't gonna be so simple.

After killing the emperor I was able to conquer the rest of the continent. And soon Tamriel was united once more. I changed the throne from Cyrodiil to Arcana. and after 15 more years of adjusting things, of prosperity, of advancement, of growth. I set out to conquer the rest of the world of Nirn.

As the elves are generally a pain in the ass I set out and conquered the Aldimeri first. It was a wise decision because I discovered that the Pisijic order was working with the Aldmeri to stop me. I Bled the order dry for all their magic and mundane knowledge and developed my country way more. Mt Arcana now looked incredibly different than what I see right now, it started looking like a full metallic city.

I found it strange... Maybe this Mt.Arcana I am right now is just a representation? A fickle memory perhaps? It could be.

After that the Other Nations of the world sort of banded together against me giving start to what alter be called WW2. My greed seems to increase the older I got. I was already probably in my 60, but thanks to [Ki] my strength increased the older I got. That be an untold arrogance, a conceit only born in a too successful conqueror. And when the next pannel showed me making a deal with Hermanus Mora, I knew things were going to down, hard.

Apparently, this version of myself made a deal for the [Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan]. after that the engravings kinda changed a bit and started showing me as the villain of my history. It showed how the world was absolutely terrified of me, how unapproachable and cold I was in the eyes of others, it showed how truly isolated I truly was. Maybe it was because of that the next Panel described me with these exact words.

[Mad Kind]

Apparently, I lost my battle against my emotions and succumbed to the abyss, effectively becoming the [Mad King]. I was probably slowly losing myself over time, but that deal with a Daedric Prince Really settled me on the downwards path of no return.

The next panel showed me using the complete [Susanoo] to absolutely wreak havoc and conquer the rest of the world. The entirely of Nirn was in the palm of a Mad King, he was the Supreme King having both the supreme power over the world.

Apparently, my obsession with magic also devolved into something else. From the engravings, I know that I was able to use shouts, but this alternative self never really was able to use magic. This only made his obsession grow more and more until it reached unreasonable levels.

Sheogorath's grasp on my alternative self grew more and more. He grew madder and madder, his decision-making abilities becoming poorer by the second. Economical crisis spawned, corruption, crime rate. And the situation kept only getting worse.

Unsurprising a rebellion started, it would normally be easily quelled like all the others that tried it before. But this time the mysterious figure that was the leader of the rebellion was extremely strong, the figure also had a lot of support from the masses and internal support from some officers that defected.

Things got more and more heated until and my alternative self kept committing more and more mistakes. So when the next panel showed that the whole world was trying to kill the [Mad King] I believed it.

The next engraving was the siege of Mt.Arcana. Even from these simple engravings and some brief words engraved in this stone wall, I could see that the battle was epic. My alternative self managed to crack [Tonal Architecture] and was able to incorporate Dwemer Automatons to help him defend from the attackers.

The next panel was Mt.Arcana partially destroyed only to reveal something extremely shocking underneath. The Brass God. My alternative self Probably managed to salvage Dagoth Ur project and somehow finish it, and seeing [Wraithguard], [Keening], and [Sunder] engraved in the wall send some chill upon my spine.

The next panel shows the revolution leader, and to the surprise of no one, it was the Dragonborn that probably survived due to the Dragon Break fiasco. On this panel, it shows Hermaeus Mora making a deal with him, the Daedric Prince probably didn't like how much I gained from a simple deal and wanted to end me.

Hehe, the deal my Alternative Self made with him was for him to have an ever-present perfect vision that never fades. So I guess he would be slightly pissed seeing I gained so much from such a simple deal.

Apparently, Hermaeus Mora made a deal with the Dragonborn, in exchange for my eyes the Daedric Prince will bless the Dragonborn, and give him some precious knowledge the Dragonborn carved. all that and the Dragonborn just needed to simply give some fancy eyes to him, it was almost an immediate deal.

Eventually, the whole world Resistance won against my alternative self. They simply had more numbers, and with the new knowledge, Hermaeus Mora gifted the Dragonborn was able to destroy my forces and finally confront me.

And apparently, the [Thu'um] can indeed break or bypass the [Susanoo]. But I guess that is kind of expected seeing as the [Thu'um] can literally bend reality. At least this is some essential information, its good for me to not get cocky and think the [Susanoo] is invincible in this world.

The third battle between the alternative me and the Dragonborn was catastrophic, we destroyed mountains and parted oceans, we changed the climate and parted the clouds, winds howled and screamed when our weapons clashed. But the Dragonborn wasn't alone, with warriors from all over the world he formed the resistance, and they never fought alone.

It was me versus the Dragonborn and his minions. And due to a mishap of mine, I ended up failing and being impaled by a gigantic sword.

The first thing they did was immobilize me. The second thing was destroying my throat so I couldn't shout anymore. The third thing they did was gouge my eyes.

My alternative self was beaten, with a destroyed throat, and without his eyes. In the eyes of the enemies, he was already a dead person. So no one was able to react when he used the three tools to activate the Brass God. But instead of some tragedy happening he simply disappeared. The next panel just shows the revolutionaries celebrating. The engraving of a Broken Dragon almost going unnoticed.

But the wall didn't end yet. The next panel shows my alternative self destroyed and battered form flying through a swirling vortex. But it wasn't just his form, it was him and the whole Mt. Arcana.

No, he didn't transport Mt.Arcana with him. He somehow was traveling through this vortex with the older or more correctly said, the current version of Mt.Arcana, a simple shell born from the memories of a dying king.

The last panel shows him sitting on a broken cobblestone throne, his form very haggard and looking half dead. A giant scar on his throat, and a face with empty eye sockets. But there was an even more horrifying thing just below this last engraving, a slew of words that drained the color of my face once more.

[I am waiting for you... don't take too much time... my extra time is ending]

And when I finally finished reading everything the wall abruptly disappeared. It was like it never existed before, there was literally no traces or clues of its existence.
