"I always hated fighting against necromancers you know? They are the worst kind of caster there is, and do you know why? Because most of them are incredibly skilled. It takes a lot of skill in both magic and knowledge for you to be able to comfortably summon a horde of undead. so normally even the most piss poor necromancer has some skills in other branches of magic too. A fire mage? you can easily expect a fireball, or maybe some flame spell, but a necromancer may have the most stupid and variated combination of spells besides their undead specialty."~Alt Jin Book, the chapter of revelations Page 43:3 ~

"Thankful due to [Ripple] we have a pretty huge advantage against the undead, we literally melt through their bodies and defenses. But do not lower your guard, the undead can come in varied shapes and forms ad it would pretty easy to make some undead traps." ~Alt Jin Book page 43~

"Trap undead are essentially some undead disguised to look like a typical zombie. But when you get close he reveals that he is nothing typical, the undead may explode in an explosion of both blood and gore, may contaminate you with an incurable disease, may sprout lethal spikes filled with venom, may create a toxic gas cloud, may explode in acid, may-"~Alt Jin Book page 43~

Looking at the pile of ashes the skeleton became I knew I had to act fast. It's impossible the Necromancers haven't noticed my presence yet as I literally melted one of their skeletons. There are literally only two ways right now, the left that is where the skeleton came from, and the right leads to unknown territory.

And yes, the hall I am in right now is indeed in complete darkness. Thankfully even with the limited field of view, I have right now, my [Sharingan] gives me darkvision so I have no trouble analyzing everything in a 10 meters radius.

After some time I decided to go left, my [Sharingan] spinning and analyzing everything around me it could possibly could, it won't do for me to fall into a trap and die like an idiot. The biggest reason I am slightly confident in dealing with these necromancers is my advantage against them, [Ripple] and [Wave] have quite the bonus damage against undead, so my main concerns are the necromancers really.

And if my experience dungeon diving in Skyrim is any true, this place should also be filled with traps. And I was proven exactly right when I walked a bit more on the corridor in front of me and saw an extremely thin line close to the ground, and if the holes in the walls here are any indication I would've probably be skewered by some spears if I did trip on the line.

The worst is that they also made it pretty inconspicuous, I don't doubt if I wasn't paying attention or didn't have such a useful tool like the [Sharingan] I would probably fail in spotting this trap. And this also confirms that the undead skeleton I killed was probably being controlled, an automatic undead wouldn't have the necessary awareness to be able to avoid this trap.

Thankfully I was easily able to avoid it... Now do or do not destroy the trap?... hmmm, I could just easily toss a rock and break the line activating the trap, or I could leave the trap up for me to use if I had to backtrack. I guess I will leave it up, it's not like I can forget it with my [Sharingan] and all, and maybe if this devolves in some kind of mad chase for me I would be able to use the traps against my chasers.

I continued walking some more until I reached another hall. This hall differently from the other one was illuminated by some torches in the walls. The hall is currently empty and the only distinguishing characteristic would be a huge double door made of wood and metal at the other end of it.

But besides the door, there were fours Draugr positioned on each corner of the hall. Well, they weren't Draugr per si, as I am not in a Dragon Cult Ruin. But you could say these are their cousins the Zombies. Unfortunately, these aren't those weak zombies that only want to eat your brain, much like the Draugr these zombies have some skills from when they were alive. So depending on who they were they could be quite tough to deal with.

The hall is relatively small seeing as my sight can only reach a 10 meters radius, so I presume this hall is a little smaller than that. Now that I think about it I have quite the advantage in dungeon diving, due to the small corridors and hall my vision is basically unaffected by its usual limitations.

The moment I entered the hall the four zombies started waking up. Fighting outnumbered is always a bad idea if you don't have extremely superior skill and ability, and I am now deeper inside enemy territory so it's best if I don't enter in extremely disadvantageous situations.

Using [Advance Step], I appear in front of one of the zombies. I immediately charge a [Soul-Crushing Strike] and punch towards the midsection of the zombie. And do have in mind that I will be using only [Wave] from now on unless explicitly told otherwise.

My punch connected with the zombie and he exploded on a shower of molten gore and bone pieces. My [Soul-Crushing Strike] didn't just impact him and passed through its defenses, due to [Wave] my attack rippled inside of it, it didn't just damage it the normal way, due to the bonus damage against undead it also melted the zombie insides, and when the zombie couldn't hold the pressure anymore it simply exploded. It is a pretty devastating attack.

The other three zombies finally managed to arrange themselves. My guess is that these ones are different from the skeleton previously, they looked more like the sentinel type of zombie, a zombie simply left like a sentry waiting for anything living to appear and subsequently kill it. And seeing a live prey they immediately went to attack it.

Sadly they don't have any weapons or armor. And I am quite ashamed to admit that their rags look better than mine. But right now is not the time to be concerned about fashion, there are literally three zombies fighting against me.

The left one decided that I was close enough and he fastly lunged at me. But to my [Sharingan] his fast lunge was as slow as a snail. Seeing this is a good opportunity as any, I decided to use one of the gifts my Alternative self gave me. I waited for the zombie to get closer and closer, and when he was close enough, I trusted my right hand with two fingers facing forward while using [Gungnir].

A line of [Wave] circled thought my whole arm forming and spiral on it, and when my fingers touched the zombie an immense hole formed on it and on the zombie behind it. [Gungnir] attack radius was big this time, a one-meter radius big, and seeing as the attack was used with [Wave] it completely melted through the zombie with little to no resistance.

I am just sad the attack was so powerful that I wasn't even able to really test its piercing abilities. But I am thankful I was able to kill two zombies with one attack. The one I aimed the attack was blow up on its torse, the second one lost the top part of its body. Now three of the four zombies have been dealt with.

To the last one, I didn't even try another skill I just gripped my [Elder scroll(eye)] with my left hand, cycled [Wave] through it, and tossed it towards the last zombie, the scroll completely destroyed its head melting through it.

The zombies' remains slowly started to become ash showing that they are now destroyed. I when to the corner of the room and picked up my [Elder Scroll(eye)], and held it firmly in my hand.

Thankful in this battle against the undead I was able to confirm some things. First and foremost, the undead have [Ki], I was already expecting it but I can't say I wasn't surprised. But their [Ki] is strange, alien, putrid, rotten, dead. I know the last one was fairly obvious, but it still blew my mind slightly that they indeed have [Ki], I almost didn't believe Alt Jin at first. The second thing is... [Wave] is potent, really potent, I didn't know that mixing [Ripple] and [Ki] could give me such a potent combination, it's like the two are extremely compatible with each other.

Another thing is... Why my detection abilities diminished so much? when I was on my rampage I could literally feel and see people through walls and meters of rubble... Maybe my [Fury] improved my sensing abilities or something? It's plausible. Until now I always thought my [Fury] was similar to Siegharts's, but I thinking there is something more about that ability... Unfortunately now is not the time for this kind of thing. Now it's time to kill necromancers.

Stretching a bit to see if everything is okay with my body, I couldn't help but murmur:

"It's showtime."

I took some steps and tried to open the door, understandably I failed miserably on my task. Of course, it's locked, why the fuck wouldn't it be locked?

I *sigh* in annoyance a little. But taking a deep breath I try pushing or pulling, but none worked. Seeing this I think it's time for me to adopt a more aggressive approach. Picking my [elder scroll(eye)] with my right hand, I started charging [Gungnir]. [Wave] spiraled around my arm quickly and smoothly transferring to my weapon AKA [Elder Scroll].

Using all my strength I thrust my [Elder Scroll] forward.

*Bang*

The wooden door was completely torn out of its hinges giving me plenty of space to pass through it. I immediately observed the new place I arrived at. My first impression is that this place is big, very big. My ten meters limited sight can barely see a 1/12 of it, but by what I was able to see around I am in some kind of storage room.

I didn't even try to contain the smile on my face. I barely fought and I can already start looting, this is fucking too good to be true. But the more I looked, the more my smile grew.
