"... I've probably already said and written this to you, but I guess a refresher never hurt anyone. This world does indeed know [Ripple] and [Ki], so don't be surprised when people mention any one of them. This not the normal Elders Scrolls Universe by a very long shot."~Alt Jin Book: Refreshing memory for future encounters~

I picked the four steel swords I got from looting the remains of the Patchwork zombies and gave them to Altair, Aahin, Elii, and Turalion. Looking at the way everyone was holding their sword I could see that they at least had some prior experience with it, Turalion and Altair looked a little more skilled than the other two, but both Elii and Aahin seem to be more comfortable with short blades or maybe some sort of dagger.
"Well, Before we start going deeper in this undead-infested place I need to give you all a slight edge against our foes. You all seem to know to hack and slash, but that won't be enough for the types of undead we will find here. Sadly we don't have much time for me to properly teach you all the ropes, but I guess you will need to learn as you go, there is nothing better than life and death situations for learning after all. Right now, you all either sink or swim..."(Jin).
"Wait, what do you mean? I thought this-"(Altair).
With a simple breath, I start circulating [Ripple] on my right hand, swiftly I send those [Ripple] to my pink finger, and with a fast punch, I punch the base of Altair's lungs, this immediately empty all the air that was on them making Altair kneel int eh groud in despair for air.
Before anyone could react I did the same with Turalion who looked at me with a betrayed and shocked expression. Following it with Aahin and Elii who both were midswing with their ready drawn swords.
All four of them were now in the ground gasping for air their lungs empty of everything. I looked at the sight of my four soon-to-be companions and said.
"Calm yourself, breath, feel the positive energy within you, follow it, feel it, breath like it. Let the breath of life look upon you, let the positive energy of the sun ripple through your body. I am not your enemy, I am not your foe, all I did was give the four of you a gift, no, more like an opportunity..."(Jin).
The first to learn how to correctly breathe was Altair, with a loud *Gasp* he got up shining yellow sparks flowing from his body. With some fury in his eyes, he looked at me and said:
"Bastard! What did you do, this-"(Altair).
"Do not cause a scene Altair, he gave us all a gift, a gift that will improve our survival chances tremendously."(Turalion).
At this time much like Altair Turalion got up, yellow spark flowing from him much like what happened with Altair previously. He helps the hot-blooded Redguard in place before he did something he might regret later.
"Thank you, friend Jin. I will be sure to repay this kindness."(Turalion)
"What are you talking about. Wait, what are these yellow sparks, what did you do-"(Altair).
At this time Aahin got up, sparks could be spotted flowing through her fur, her fur which was already pretty lustrous previously became even more soo. Not surprising seeing as [Ripple] is quite good for someone's vitality, I am surprised that [Ripple] didn't instantly make her furs stand, but I guess due to the fact of [Ripple] being more "natural" such a phenomenon was avoided.
"Khajiit doesn't like to be punched... But Khajiit would like to thank furless friend for giving Khajiit the blessing of Magrus//."(Aahin).
"Magrus... Magnus? The sun? Did you give us the blessing of the sun?"(Elii).
"Before you ask any more questions Altair, the blessing of Magnus is also know as [Ripple]. It's one of the most effective methods to use against undead bar [Sun Magic]. Jin here must've given this to help us fight the undead, sadly none of us has any experience with [Ripple] so I don't know how much it will help."(Turalion).
"Ahhh, so that was what happened. Would it hurt for you to war us beforehand? Suddenly having my lungs empty was a rather traumatizing experience."(Altair).
"He could probably slowly and steadily teach us, but in these circumstances, the fast and brute method was his best choice."(Turaliton).
"Is [Ripple] really that big of a deal?"(Altair).
"Yes and no. For the general populace, it is extremely difficult to come in contact with something like [Ripple], but any Vigilant of Stendarr and Meridia Follower worth their salt knows how to use [Ripple] at least on a basic level. There are other groups here and there like the Dawnguard who also use it, so don't be surprised when you see some random people using it."(Turalion).
"Wait, so Jin is both a [Ripple] user and a [Ki] cultivator?... SOO COOL!!"(Altair).
While Altair spotted some stars on his eyes at his apparent new idol, Elii approached me to talk.
"Thanks for this Jin. You are helping us all a lot, every one of us is indebted to you. But we don't exactly know how to use [Ripple]."(Elii).
"That is completely normal, you all just learned the technique. Heck, even I am fairly new to the technique and still learning a bunch of things. But let's not waste any time, let us walk and talk, I will give everyone an express crash course to [Ripple] use. Let's hope for the best."(Jin).
When I started talking everyone was paying attention to me, unknowing to everyone I was releasing some sort of supernatural dragon-like charisma. Sadly it appears that no one has noticed anything. I started walking towards the exit of this prison corridor towards the previous hall. My four companions swiftly following in my steps.
"Be sure to follow my steps precisely, this place is full of traps and I am making sure to avoid them."(Jin).
"Kahjiit is also good at spotting traps, Khajiit will warn furless friends if they fail to spot something."(Aahin).
"Thank you Aahin. Any help is appreciated."(Turalion).
"Well... Let's start your crash course [Ripple] 2000. First and foremost [Ripple] is all about breathing, if you don't breathe you don't [Ripple], so the best advice I can give for starters like you all is to maintain your breath correctly, no matter what. It may not seem so, but that task is pretty difficult, thankfully as you grow more experienced towards the absurdities of causality you will rarely falter in your breath pattern."(Jin).
"Second lesson, [Ripple] flows better through liquids, blood to be more specific. meaning that a battle involving a lot of liquids is complete to your advantage, you can even walk on water or the walls with some practice."(Jin).
"Third lesson, a [Ripple] user is never unarmed. Anything can become a weapon for a [Ripple] user even the most inconspicuous leaf can cut as good as a sharp sword if you have enough technique. For that, you will have to fill your weapon with [Ripple] making it way more deadly and extremely lethal to any undead or creature of the night."(Jin).
"Fourth lesson, [Ripple] is also something that benefits a lot from your imagination. From using simple bubbles to attack to displace your bones to have more reach. A good imagination will bring you far with [Ripple]."(Jin).
"Fifth Lesson, [Ripple] is excellently used to heal wounds. Heck, it is one of its primaries functions so you can bet its healing capabilities are extremely good. But this healing has a weakness whatsoever depending on what type of sickens... you target... have... it may... not.. w-work..."(Jin).
I feel a scaly hand on my shoulders, funnily enough, Elii was making a lot of effort to try to comfort me in this brief show of weakness. I couldn't help but feel that the Argonian looked very much like a big sister from this angle.
"It is a painful memory, isn't it?... if you need some time to-"(Elii).
"No, this is not the to wallow in my bad memories. We have undead to kill."(Jin).
"We may not have known each other for a long time, but I still feel I should give you some advice, repressing emotions is never a good thing. It will corrode you from the inside, slowly consuming your mind, slowly bringing you towards darkness. If you need someone to talk to I am all ears, it's the least I could do for your help."(Turalion).
"Speak from personal experience?"(Altair).
"Yes. I helped my sister a lot with that-"(Turalion).
Interrupting Turalion Aahind decided to say her piece.
"Aahin thinks right now is not the place for sentimentalism. After we escape from the bone lovers' lair the furless friends can talk about feeling as much as they want."(Aahin).
"*Cough* Let's continue. [Ripple] also has a very glaring weakness besides the need to constantly breathe, when you're heavily wounded and losing a lot of blood [Ripple] may lose a lot of its efficacy and potency, so please be aware in those situations.."(Jin).
"[Ripple] also has a lot of benefits for your health, so you may found that you are aging way slower than before, gaining muscles mass and exercising becomes way easier, recuperating from minor wound and exhaustion may take a simple night of sleep but that varies depending on multiple conditions. You will also be immune to Sanguinare Vampiris and similar diseases."(Jin).
"Now, before we find any enemy I want you all to at least be able to fill your weapon with [Ripple]. that is something very simple. First breath, fell the positive energy of the sun coursing through your veins, rippling inside of your body, feels your newfound vitality, and grasp this new energy that is inside of you. Do not be hasty nor aggressive, this energy si natural and it follows the ripples, you just need to guide it, to create new ripples inside of yourself with your breath, and feed it to the weapon you hold right now, to the weapon connected to the palm of your hand."(Jin).
I looked around and I could see that everyone was trying to follow my instructions. Altair was struggling a bit but his training as a swordsman already taught him the importance of breathing, this might as well be just an extension of that. The same could be said about Turalion, but differently from Altair Turalion has already some experience using magic and moving energy so he looked like he is having an easier time arround.
Aahin and Elii seem to be struggling quite a bit, but if the yellow sparks flowing from then from time to time si any indication of why weren't that far behind Turalion and Altair. Good to know they all have some talent with [Ripple], this just means that they have better chances of surviving whatever the hell these necromancers are doing.
"If you are having some difficulties... Try to imagine a droplet of water, this droplet of water is yellow colored and is constantly shining brightly showing the world it is full of energy, under this droplet of water there is a vast ocean connected with many, many rivers of different sizes and shapes. When this droplet of water falls into the calm and even ocean it creates ripples and waves that quickly spread towards the rivers making them flow faster and more energetically. Now imagine this droplet of water is created every time you breathe, when you use [Ripple] the droplet fall into the ocean that is represented by your body, it spreads towards your veins, the rivers. This creating a rippled reaction that quickly fills your whole being with such positive energy."(Jin).
"When your whole ocean and rivers are flooding with ripples and waves, you need to push, to guide those ripples with the droplets of water you are making. Slowly you will guide the ripples towards one of your river's extremities and use your droplets of water to expel the ripple outside of the river and affect the world outside of your body. As the tame passes and this course, of action, is repeated you will get more and more proficient in doing it until you will be able to control the energy outside."(Jin).
I looked at my temporary students and smiled seen that my analogy yielded some successes, Turalion is already able to expel some [Ripple] outside of his body, and the others are quickly following suit. Good, this can only mean good things.
