"Indeed. while [Ripple] is plenty strong, I've been feeling that this is not all there is to it."(Turalion).

"And you would be right Turalion. Until now you learned all the basics bar one, the [Overdrive]. Well, [Overdrive] is more of a bridge to advanced [Ripple] techniques than anything, so you can say it is a basic and at the same time advanced technique. This is proven that some of you may even have used it without being completely aware, I know it is normal because it happens to me all the time. Even nowadays."(Jin).

"Indeed. Sometimes I was able to conveniently make some strong bursts of [Ripple], but I was never able to grasp it."(Turalion).

"Good, you are pretty close to what [Overdrive] is. Overdrive already tells on its own name what it truly does, it is an overdrive of your [Ripple] energy used to boost your overall, even more than the normal [Ripple] does. Look closely."(Jin).

Suddenly a shining yellow aura started to burst from my frame, the aura grew more and more until it formed a shining yellow aura membrane under my purple [Fury] flame aura. Some yellow electric-like sparks danced around my body showing the power boost of [Overdive]. Ripple folded my body almost tilting the delicate balance I had when I fused [Ripple] with [Ki] creating [Wave], guess it is better if I used the technique with [Wave] as a base.

"This is [Overdrive]. For you to use overdrive you simply need to breathe heavily."(Jin).

"Breath heavily? What do you mean?"(Altair).

"Breathing heavily is when your exert strength in your lungs to spill and breath in the biggest amount of air possible. [Ripple] is all about breathing, so you will probably see in the future that all your skills in [Ripple] can and will change depending on your breath."(Jin).

"Interesting, [Ripple] seem to have a lot of potential. But I have just a single doubt... Why didn't you use any of them earlier?"(Turalion).

Sheepishly I rush my right hand behind my head, a little bit of shame adorned my eyes for those capable of reading them.

"Well... I just figured them out myself."(Jin).

All four of them looked completely dumbfounded at my response, their jaws hanging wide open as if they just saw something completely absurd. Never in their wildest dreams would they expect this teacher of theirs to "Just Learn something" he considers so essential himself. It is ironic, in a way.

"The fuck dude, I thought-"(Altair).

"That I was an expert or something? Nah, I am just as new to this shit as you all are. I have been using [Ripple] for just some odd months so don't expect some ancient master teaching you all, I am also learning as I go. I am just kind of pissed because the battle against the Flesh Golem would've been way easier if I had something like [Overdrive] in my arsenal."(Jin).

"You fought against a FLESH GOLEM??"(Elii).

"Geeze girl, scream louder will ya. It is not like we are in a necromancer lair or something."(Jin).

"Khajiit doesn't think voice volume matter right now. The bone lovers seems to be way more concentrated on their strange ritual. Khajiit will also point out that we didn't fight any necromancers until now."(Aahin).

"I fought and killed three necromancers actually."(Jin).

"You fought THREE OF THEM???"(Elii).

Everyone looked at this second outburst from Elii a little miffed. But when we saw that she started laughing in an almost contagious way we barely could hold our own. Turalion spotted a slight smile, Altair was literally holding his face to not laugh, and Aahin spotted a cat-like smile. I know why she did this-

"Hah, that was a good way to dissipate the tension. Principally when we are so close to..."(Turalion).

"Hmmm. So you have also noticed."(Jin).

"Hey, I am the one surprised here. You can only see 10 meters in front of you and you are able to notice it. Dude, sometimes you do some unbelievable things."(Turalion).

"Turalion. The chanting of the ritual is becoming louder, and I bet everyone noticed this darkness and heaviness in the air. We are close, very close. I want everyone to be careful, we may not have had many problems with the undead until now because they were simply weak, also I bet there is something stronger at the end of this humongous corridor."(Jin).

"Indeed, this is simply the calm before the storm."(Turalion).

I deactivated my [Overdrive] and proceed to march forward, my four temporary students following in my steps. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your point of view we didn't find any more undead in our way towards the end of the corridor. We simply marched, my other teammates using this time to get more used to [Ripple] to the best of their abilities.

It was strange, the more we walked the heavier the air felt, the mroe dread I felt inside of my heart, the chanting became more and more demonic, more and more distorted. It was unnerving, alien, otherworldly...

Soon we reached a huge exit archway, the archway was carved from eh stones with a precise detail, which normally wouldn't be a problem. But the engraving this archway describes, its downright terrifying. It shows people enjoying themselves with rotten bodies, and skeletons, rivers of blood, and a mountain of corpses, and that damn symbol of the [Order of the Black Worm] was everywhere. It reached the point of it being maddening. Turalion was so speechless that he forgot to comment about it, and so did everyone.

"...Is it just me that find this archway extremely creepy?"(Altair).

"No definitely not."(Elii).

"Khajiit reached new levels of despise and disgust for these bone lovers."(Aahin).

Showing that I was not in the mood for small talk, with a raspy and cold voice, I said.

"Let's go. If my sense of smell is right. The shitstorm is just beginning."(Jin).

"What do you mean by that?"(Altair).

"You will see. And I guarantee none of you will like it."(Jin).

Everyone immediately assumed more serious postures. My soured and serious mood wasn't only because of the shitty engravings, but because of the magic, I started seeing in the archway. My [Sharingan] quickly as able to detect some use of magic, and if Alt Jin's information about rituals is correct, these lines and strange magic designs I am seeing on the ground are part of a very large scale ritual.

Without further ado, we passed through the archway towards a new hall. This hall looked empty, but if the weapons and armor in the walls and the pieces of rotten corpses around are any indications this must've been used to prepare the undeads they were sending at us. the place looked like a strange mix between empty and dirty, dirty with human remains that is.

"Fuck. The smell is fucking horrible."(Altair)

Everyone was suffering from the sight of the numerous bodyparts and other disgusting things in this hall. Everyone tried to suppress their gag reflexes, thankful(?) I had already passed through similar situations when I did my massacres so I was already used(?) to this kind of situation.

Okay, no one can get used to this kind of situation, my previous affirmation is a lie I told to convince myself that I am not a monster to not be feeling anything right now. Shit, what is this? I've been having some bursts of strange behavior recently; greed, anger, pride... ~A Dragon dos not bend, nor break~ Why I am thinking about Dragons right now? it has nothing to do with this... no, this is no the time to be thinking about those things Jin, you have more important things to do. Your teammates need you right now.

"Do not stop to think about this. You can vomit and cry as much as you want later. Now concentrate on killing the bastards who did this."(Jin).

The corpse-filled hall had another especially big archway, and seeing the huge amount of [Magika] coming from there I cans safely assume that the ritual is in the full course. My teammates took some seconds to recover, but soon enough they were already ready to follow my lead.

We passed through the other archway, and the first thing I heard was:

"By the Divines. These monsters..."(Turalion).

"The covered such a gigantic place with bodies, the walls, the ceiling, the floor. there are bodies everywhere. I can't-"(Turalion).

"Turalion. We don't have time for this. Describe the place and the possible enemies."(Jin).

"Sorry. The place is big, easily bigger than 500 square meters. As I've said, the walls, the ceiling, the floor are all covered and riddled with... bodies of all kinds of people. There is blood, guts, and limbs everywhere, the best way to describe this would be... 'A place Molag Bal would be comfortable in'."(Turalion).

"Damn. From what I can see I was already deducing... But for Molag Bal to feel like home here, it must be a true hellscape. Describe Possible enemies now."(Jin).

"I can't see any besides a huge ass shimmering portal in the middle of the room. And some simple skeletons fluctuating close to the portal."(Turalion).

"How many skeletons? Describe them to me."(Jin).

"7 Skeletons, each one of them has some kind of expensive mage robes, expensive jewelry, staff, and some kind of crown."(Turalion).

"Fuck. Those are Liches, we are absolutely fucked right now. Each Lich can control legions of undead, besides being exemplar mages themselves. Besides they all are immortal."(Jin).

"Immortal? The fuck?*Inhales* Fuck, now I want to puke."(Altair).

"The only way to truly kill a Lich is if we destroy their phylactery, normally it is quite difficult to even find it. But if I can approach those Liches I can easily identify their phylactery. But for that, I will need to approach them, something extremely difficult by itself. We are just lucky they are too engrossed in their ritual to have noticed us. Whatever the fuck that giant portal is."(Jin).

Yeah, my [Sharingan] can easily detect where a [Phylactery] is, the ability to conceivably see [Magika] is pretty much a cheat. Now I need to get close to see where their fatal point is, now I just need to plan things right. And considering I can see shining magic lines forming a pattern above all those bodies perhaps I can disrupt the ritual itself. Food for thought.

"The problem is that this place is absolutely horrible to move ourselves. With all these bodies in the ground, our footing will be very unbalanced and easily disturbed."(Jin).

"That is your problem here? What the fuck dude? this is literally a room of bodies."(Altair).

"Remember what I said Altair. Enemies first, whine later."(Jin).
