Guess the next one I need to talk with is Altair. Without further ado, I simply approached Altair and greeted him.
"Hey, Altair."(Jin).
"Hey, Boss. "(Altair).
He said it in one of the best Pink Guy representations I had ever seen, he said "Hey, boss" in such a strange and stretched way it sounded "Hey Balls" when said out loud. checking my memories for a bit... Yeah, there are some alternative timelines where I taught him that... In my defense, I thought it was funny. And Pink Guy rocks.
"So I wanted to tell you about Turalion's Suggestion. He thinks joining [Silverhood] is our best choice right now. Our other option is becoming a sellsword like you were, so what do you think?"(Jin).
Altair seems to think for a very long time, he continued on ou jogging rhythm while breathing [Ripple] to conserve the highest amount of energy possible. Of course, the group stopped from time to time to take breaks, we may be somewhat superhuman, but we still tire like everyone else. I am a slight exception due to [Wave] and the [Divine Dan] I consumed, meaning my stamina is off the charts for someone on my level. And seeing my control over [Wave] has skyrocketed due to all those alternative reality experiences I had, I am not gonna run out of stamina soon, unless I do something really absurd like run around in the desert for more than a week without sleeping even once... Oh...
"Well I wouldn't want to return to being a sellsword, I did that most out of necessity than anything else. It is a rather ungrateful and dangerous job, you are paid ridiculously low amounts to risk your life daily, it is something I would only do again out of necessity."(Altair).
"Wait... I thought the job at least paid well. That is what I was led to believe in the histories. And isn't working at the Silverhood equally dangerous? they are some kind of thieves guild for fucks sake."(Jin).
"Well, that is a bit different, working as a sellsword is way riskier and life-threatening. First and foremost your client can simply decide to not pay you, or kill you, or put you one excessive danger in purpose... There are a ton of negatives really, it's pretty much lawless out there in the open. Working for the Silverhood is different, your payment is guaranteed due to the organization's power, and all the other benefits as well, they give you-"(Altair).
"Don't need to repeat that, I already talked with Elii and Aahin."(Jin).
"Thank god, this listing was already becoming rather exhausting."(Altair).
"So Silverhood route?"(Jin).
"Sure, I see no problems with that. It seems like the best course of action right now."(Altair).
"Indeed. I also wanted to say sorry for adding someone new to the group without asking, I should've-"(Jin).
"No harm is done, boss."(Altair).
There was silence for a bit, both simply continuing our fast pace as a group. I can understand that no one wants to spend another night outside, even Altair that is more used to things like this is still feeling bothered to spend another night in that desert. Necromancers, purple worms, giant insects, sand golems... Honestly, I am in complete agreement with them.
"You know what is funny Altair?"(Jin).
"Shoot."(Altair).
"One of my enemies was Called The Boss, and he had a subordinate called Subordinate, also a recruit called Recruit... Now that I think about it... I never even learned their real names, I always called them by their nicknames... I killed the Boss and now I am now being called the Boss. Ironic."(Jin).
"Wow, whatever gave them those nicknames must be very lacking in terms of creativity."(Altair).
"You have no idea, my friend. No idea."(Jin).
Guess there is just Shuten to give the news here. Soon enough I approached her. Right now she was running at the same pace as our, her use of [Ripple] has already reached a pretty good level for someone who just started practicing it some hours ago.
"Yo. I came to give you some announcements."(Jin).
"Sure."(Shuten).
"Turalion suggested joining the Silverhood... hmm let me explain it to you in more details-"(Jin).
Then I explained to Shuten all that we are planing, from the check-up in the temple, to joining the Silverhood, to seeking Turalion's sister's help. It was a fairly short explanation, Shuten had few questions about some detail but soon enough she agreed to join.
"... Joining it seems like the smarter idea... But I am probably an extremely bad thief."(Shuten).
"Hah, you never tried and is already with so much negativity?"(Jin).
Since when someone like me can ask those kinds of things? Well, I guess if we are talking about negativity I am quite proficient in that... Yeah, that sounds bad, and sad too.
"Yeah, you are right... Thinking negatively won't solve anything... But you are aware of my height and special features, right? Shouldn't a thief be very inconspicuous?"(Shuten).
"My friend Shute, that is where you are sorely mistaken. I know a lot of extremely good thieves that are extremely flamboyant."(Jin).
"But you knew there isn't a perfect crime right? One time or the other the guards will catch us."(Shuten).
"My friend, why do you think there is no perfect crime?"(Jin).
"Of course there isn't, someone one day discovers it."(Shuten).
"Shuten the only way to know about the perfect crime, is to commit it yourself."(Jin).
Shuten seems slightly speechless at that revelation, she opened her mouth to speak but then she thought about it some more.
"...Damn, you are right. Never thought about it that way."(Shuten).
After that, we made some more small talk, and then everyone fell silent yet again. Right now we were more concentrated on continuing our pace and reaching sentinel than anything else. Sometimes we would stop and get five minutes breaks for us to not get too much exhausted.
Often I would use [Sense] and send a pulse of [Wave] around me to check my surroundings. The pulse is pitiful right now, only being able to reach a one-meter radius, but that is actually a pretty neat improvement compared to the initial 77cm. But considering that I've been doing it for hours I bet it will take a very long time for me to reach huge distances with it. I am just thankful I have a lot of [Wave] thanks to my absurd reserves, so spamming the skill periodically isn't much of a problem.
Soon enough hours passed and evening arrived. Thankfully we were pretty close to the end of the forest, our pacing granting a very fast way of traveling. Everyone unanimously agreed we would take a break at the edge of the forest before continuing with our journey.

Edge of the Forest - Road to Sentinel -
"Man, I never get tired of this sight. The city is simply magnific."(Turalion).
At the Horizon there is a giant city, recognizing detail from distance is impossible to anyone here. But Turalion had the courtesy of describing whatever he could. The city is big, that much is a giving considering the importance of it.
Even now you can see light illuminating many houses and different important buildings, those must be magical lights. Meaning whatever was light up right now is either a magician or has a lot of money. Good to know.
The city has a lot of districts. The port, the slums, the commerce, etc. The architecture is distinctly Arabic, but with some magical and fantasy details. There is also a pretty tall wall protecting the city from the harsh environment outside, providing great defense and security for its citizens.
I reckon the best way to even conquering this city would be through the port. By land, the city has a lot more means to defend itself. Wouldn't be surprised if they had problems with pirates some time or the other.
The city is colored in the distinct color of the desert meaning a lot of sand yellow, brown, and grey. From here I can somehow spot a palace, probably the place where the city lord or whatever equivalent of noble redguard lives there.
"It's not as rich and big as the capital but it is still one of the biggest cities of Hammerfel."(Turalion)
Turalion ended his brief description of the city, there isn't that much to say really, seeing things closer is better and more informative anyway.
"Now Jin, I want to talk about something important with you."(Turalion).
"Sure man, just say it."(Jin).
"You can't exactly enter the city with those glowing red eyes. I remember recently there were some vampire problems and the guards are pretty jumpy against anything with glowing eyes. Heck, sometimes they even stopped to check on me."(Turalion).
"Sure, I will be going blind... so don't expect me to be able to pull off some of my crazy shit."(Jin).
"Sure. Do you need any help? It won't do to have you falling down only to hurt yourself-"(Turalion).
"Relax, it is going to be a new experience. But I think I can take care of myself, just warn me if the need arrives."(Jin).
"Sure."(Turalion).
Sigh, let's think positively. This can be a good way of training my [Sense], and considering that my sense allows me to see in 360 degrees, its usefulness is pretty high. As good as the [Sharingan] is I don't have eyes on my back, so I do indeed have some blind spots.
This also made me remember a Fanfic I read a lot of time ago, the main character also had the [Sharingan] and same as me he became blind. But instead of wallowing in pity and giving up, he used his blindness state to refine his other senses and create a bunch of detection skills, he wholeheartedly used and abused his condition to the best of his abilities. And when he finally acquired his sight back he became a monster on the battlefield.
Yeah, I know there is a lot of holes in that explanation, but the gist of the thing is. I will use my blind moments to improve my other senses and my skill [Sense]. Yeah, I know I am not blackout blind, but with my sight condition right now I might as well be.
Our group continued walking, the road changing from a simple dirt path to a paved world with a stone path. I couldn't exactly see anything but I could feel it through my greaves constantly *clang* with the stone ground. This means that we are getting pretty close to Sentinel, everyone even subconsciously fastened their pace. I guess everyone is pretty tired and wants to arrive soon.
Walking with just my [Sense] was hard at first, I stumbled and wrongly stepped all the time, but soon I learned and adapted, it is still awkward only being able to sense one meter around me, but the 360-degree advantage is pretty neat.
Soon enough we started getting closer and closer, the city on the horizon, expanding at each step of ours. Looking more beautiful, bigger, more magnificent, more detailed. At least that is what was described to me, in my condition right now I am pretty fucked, to be honest. My skill with [Sense] is way too low to reach something close to what Matt Murdock, so I am using more my ears than anything to continue walking with the group.
