Binding

Yotsubashi Rikiya POV

It had to end here. We could not afford to let All For One live, not when he had attack our cause in the ways he had.

Not when he had shown his unwillingness to change to a new revolution, to led a new world be made.

Not when he had shown his willingness to give power to the undeserving, and to shackle them with empty promises.

So, if a child had to die for him to die, then that is a pity that a powerful quirk will be lost today.

But sometimes you simply couldn't eat both the cake and the ice cream.

But I simply couldn't fight on the level of this Shadow Queen or All Might. Unaided that is, and well, I am not unaided.

A little known fact is that my quirk works by detecting a chemical in my blood stream, and uses that as a signal that says it's okay to turn fat reserves into power.

So, I could simply inject myself with this chemical, and I would constantly be in tip top shape.

Sadly it led to changes within my body, although some were good -like the fact I was now quick to stress and frustration-, and I was slowly growing more and more resistant to it's effects.

So I had to use it sparingly, or only in emergencies, and it was with my Claustro suit at the moment.

A suit that was quickly arriving to this place, to this battlefield.

Until then, All Might and I would simply have to make do with what we have.

Shigaraki Kyoko POV

I was losing. Even now, Stress and One For All were closing in on me and all I could do was strain myself further, push myself to my limits, and then go beyond them.

For Sensei. For Kuro.

I would follow what my heart told me, and I would stay here until Kuro came, or I died.

I ignored the warnings of my mental quirks, and I pushed forward, against the power of the behemoth infront of me.

It worked, until it didn't, a punch throwing me into the embrace of the giant monster of black frustration.

A punch that tore through my organs like a hot knife through butter, forcing me to sacrifice another shadow.

Why was there more then only One For All here? This wasn't what I predicted, no, this is the opposite.

One For All was supposed to come here alone, and Gigantomachia would distract the others.

Stress had caught me, and he squeezed.

He put pressure on every part of me, and I felt my ribcage start giving way, and no matter how much of damage I pushed into my shadows, it was too little.

They were winning, and I was losing. Sensei's last line of defense, me, was falling.

Then he dropped me, to the ground, like I was nothing.

As if Sensei hadn't take me in, and cared for me.

I reached out a single, dainty, hand towards stress, while the giant sneered down at me. While One For All was watching all this with a pained look on his face. One wanted me to suffer, and the other would not kill me until I stood up again.

I felt his skin, his quirk, his power. But I couldn't take it, no, not with my body falling apart, not with another regenerative quirk failing each second.

Not with all shadows I set aside for regeneration falling apart before my eyes, to stop me from break.

And now there was no Sensei to catch me when I fell, no Kuro to hold and comfort me when it was all over.

This... I... My plans... are falling apart.

But they can't. If they fail, if I fall, Kuro will die. Kuro, the only one that reached out to me, and the only one that was there for me.

No. No. No. I refuse. I will not die, because what I am fighting for is worth more then what they are.

My conviction burns brighter, and my eyes, filled with blood as they were, found what I was looking for.

"Gigantomachi."

At first, all that left my throat was broken whispers, but they soon gained in strength, as stress watched over me in amusment.

They gained in strength, until he heard me.

"GIGANTOMACHIA!"

Stress was no longer amused as Machia rushed towards us, paving another path of destruction through the town, and this time no one was there to even slow him down.

Both he and One For All reached towards me, to snuff me out once and for all.

I vanished in a sickly green light.

Toshinori Yagi POV

She vanished in a flash of sickly green light, and then Gigantomachi hit.

And he hit with all the force of what can be expected from the bodyguard of All For One, and the heroes came after.

Was this All For One's last stance? His last attempt to push us back?

My eyes searched for Shigaraki, and then finally I found her.

Among the heroes, and villains, rushing here to help, among what could heal her.

No. This was her plan?

The smile on her face as heroes fell down around her said yes, yes it was.

Even with a leg bending the wrong way, arms broken beyond anything I have seen before and blood streaming down her face, robe and cloak torn, the heroes stood no chance.

And when I was on her again, none of that remained, well, except the torn cloak and robe.

All wounds were gone as if they had never even been there, and the blood simply washed off her like she was frictionless.

Maybe for a short moment, she was.

And then we hit, like an unstoppable force and an immovable object, and the people around us suffered for that.

Portals, warps, opened up around her hands as they snaked out and grabbed quirks from heroes and villains around us, and there was not a damn thing I could do while I was held in place by a grotesque shadow, looking like amalgamation of a hundred men and women.

It probably was.

But while I was held in place, Re-Destro advanced on her, now clad in a suit of support gear, and she had no defense to that.

Until she did, and he was sent rocketing away, and now instead of five shadows orbiting her it was four.

Now, one with a face like a beak clung onto her, like a second skin, and I watched as her jaw that had almost been ripped off vanished into a could of blood that then reformed into a healthy jaw.

No. This thing was almost unstoppable before, but now? Now I have no idea how we were even meant to win. How we were even meant to do anything to it.

And so it went, back and forth, us, me and Re-Destro, ripping her apart as she put herself back togheter.

Until Tenko came. Tenko who wasn't supposed to be here. Tenko who was supposed to be in Search and Rescue. Tenko, who was recognized by Shigaraki.

"You," she said in a thousand voices filled with hate, "have something that belongs to Sensei."

But with Tenko here? The stalemate ended, and we were winning once more.

"You," she said, this time with a thousands voices filled with wonder and curiosity, "are fighting for something."

"No matter."

"I will still tear you down, for Sensei."

The fight reignited.

Hakadama Tsunagu POV (Best Jeanist)

Search and rescue was never fun, never.

Some newbie heroes thought it would be, until they get to the scene of the disaster.

You don't see the five people you saved, no, you see the one you were too late to save.

Even here, in hospital wing four, that was left mostly untouched by the destruction, I still feared it collapsing on top of me.

It wouldn't, unless the fight was led here of course, but still, even in places like this people needed rescuing.

I came to the end of the hallway, and saw no one, but I kept walking, looking into room after room after room.

Tedious work, really, and it shouldn't be done by me, but I could do little to help until the industrial strength fiber cables got here.

And that? That may take awhile, even though I was promised it would be done and here hours ago.

I suppose the fact that the city is in ruins may slow the transport down.

After checking rooms for what felt like hours but was probably less then even one, I found a single person. The first one in need of rescuing.

He was strapped inside some sort of tube, and he seemed to be undergoing some sort of surgery.

Where was this mans doctor, and why had they left this person inside the tube instead of evacuating?

There he was, standing and calmly washing test tubes during this chaos.

"Sir, you need to leave right now, the city has been declared under threat of multiple S rank villains."

Then I looked at him, I mean actually looked at him, and I saw who it was.

Garaki Kyudai, the doctor.

That means... the man in the tube...

I bound Garaki in his own suit as best I could, but he was smiling like a madman.

I turned to watch the tube and it felt like someone poured liquid nitrogen down my spine, because the man inside was opening his eyes.

All For One was waking up, and I got my conformation of that fact when the glass shattered outwards, and the naked man tumbled out and fell onto his knees.

I grabbed as much of the fibers they used in Tartarus straightjackets, and the fibers from garaki, then I bound him as tightly as I could could, and I ran through the hallway, and jumped.

Jumped out of the hospital, and jumped out of the faraday cage, that blocked all signals out and in.

"Code Red override" I shouted into my earpiece, as fast as I could, "All For On-AGGH!"

I wasn't fast enough, and All For One was there, to crush me down into the dirt, with a hand far larger then any humans.

His eyes twinkled with malevolence and his lips curved up as he turned his sight towards the main sight of destruction.

Dressed in what looked like a Tartarus straightjacket without the registration with it's sleeves torn off up to his elbows and the material torn off at his ankles, where I tried to bind him.

I felt a hand grab the back of my suit, holding my tight in his gip.

And no matter how I tried, my quirk refused to answer my calls for help.

Shimura Tenko POV

The Shadow Queen was like nothing I had ever fought before.

Sure, I was meant to be a rescue hero, but people learnt that I knew All Might and all of a sudden A rank villains are trying to pop my head like a pimple.

So, I had fought my fair share of fights.

And here? Now?

This was like nothing I had ever fought. But I felt myself growing faster and faster, and I remember those things I tried so hard not to.

But... I had to remember. I had to never forget mom and Hana, because they will be my power. The memory of my love for them, and their love for me.

And this... Shadow Queen had showed me that.

And now she lays not far from me, exhausted and without legs, but not dead.

Not yet anyways.

"I... have to thank you." I wheezed out, as best as I could in my exhausted state.

She looked at me, and I saw in her eyes that she understood. Now she spoke in a single, young voice, far too young for this violence. She spoke sadly, and I knew that she knew it was over.

She had no last trump card up her sleeve.

She had no way of getting up and fighting back again.

Not anymore.

"Then... atleast let me die for Sensei."

"Why?" I had to ask. Why did she devote everything she was to a monster like All For One?

She smiled, almost happily remembering memories.

"Because he is the only one that was there."

And that was all she had to say, but she looked down, smiled and started talking again.

"Because when everyone else left me, Sensei was there. When everyone else pushed me down for what I was, he picked me up and remade me."

"When everyone else spat on my dreams, Sensei was there, and he told me yes, I could be a hero. I could be his hero!"

Re-Destro, with his suit destroyed and almost down for count, strode up to us sneering down at the mad girl.

"You're stalling for time, aren't you?"

The mad girl smiled up at us, and if you looked past the missing legs and blood that covered her, she looked like the teenager she was that had just tricked someone into doing her chores for her.

Then my earpiece crackled to life.

"ALL FOR ON-AGGH."

I whipped around, and towards the ruins of the second hospital wing, before I heard a wet chuckle from the girl laying on the ground.

"Who said" a pause to gather some air, "he was there?"

Her shit eating grin made me want to tear her into pieces.

But All For One takes priority, and as I looked around I didn't find a single sign of him.

Who was the caller and where were they stationed.

All I saw was the helicopter from the news hovering in the sky, filming everything on the ground.

"HE WAS IN HOSPITAL WING FOUR!" I heard someone, I don't know who, shout before Best Jeanist slapped into the ground in our midst from a sludge, and then from the same sludge a large man wearing what looked like a ruined straightjacket held onto the crumpled form of the Number 4 hero with very little care.

I suppose it must have looked comical as the worldst most powerful villains and heroes, backpedaled away from this man, with no one but All Might daring to approach him, and he was sent flying for his troubles.

I didn't dare to try and stop him as he walked towards the bleeding child, and my blood froze in my veins as he spoke.

"Kyoko, who did this to you?"

He was... tender... in a way he wasn't meant to be. In a way he never was to me.

He actually cared about her.

"Kuro, you came."

I think only me, who stood near her, and some people with super hearing heard what she said in a wet whisper, blood leaking out her mouth.

"Don't mind me Kuro, I'm just gonna sleep a little bit. I'll be fine, don't worry."

All For One actually smiled at that, petting her head and chuckling.

"Of course Kyoko, of course."

"Gigantomachia, retrieve The Doctor and meet at base four."

Gigantomachia, who had been standing as frozen as a statue, burst into movement, away from us and to the fourth hospital wing, and with him the heroes and villains unfroze as we burst into movement towards All For One, that simply vanished into sludge again.

All this death and destruction, and we didn't even capture one of them.
