I blinked.
Once, twice, slowly.
Above me there's a skylight roof that shows me it's still night.
Stretching my arms, I propped myself upright and winced, feeling a throbbing numb pain on my left side.
Raising my torn shirt, I graze my fingers at the now bandaged wound, frowning openly.
Where am I?
Looking around the room, I realized I'm in a garage. There's shelves and stocks by the far corner and tools strewn all around.
Beside me, a black tarp was draped over what looked to be a car but I could hardly care about that now when I noticed a first aid kit bundled up near the counter.
“You're awake,”
I snap my gaze over the shadow that's made itself home by the open garage door.
“How long was I out?” I commented, shaking my head to clear the fuzz that settled in my ears.
