Moon Gem

"Yes, you heard me right. There is a soul inside of that gem." Micheal answered as he turned around and walked down the shiny staircase. Adam and his teammates quickly followed him while their face was covered in confusion.

"Do I have to talk with the soul that is stuck in it? And how do I communicate with it?" Adam asked while following Micheal. Micheal smiled and took a right turn between his gigantic machine with the Beasts behind him.

"Let's have a sit first, I will explain everything about that gem," Micheal said as he stopped and pointed towards a section of his factory that has a large circle of colorful sofas. Micheal smiled and walked towards a large red leather sofa and sat on it while the Beasts looked around the area.

"I build this place as a place to have a conversation with contestants. There's a lot of teams this year and most of them have tons of members in it so I need a space like this." Micheal explained while looking towards the Beasts who sat on sofas that were near to Micheal.

"Okay let me explain about that gem." Micheal pointed towards Adam who was sitting on the other side of the sofa that he was sitting at.

"First, it's not a soul-infused gem, there's no soul that has been put inside of it so you don't need to find a way to communicate with it." Micheal smiled while Adam sighed and leaned back on the sofa.

"It's a unique gem that can feel emotions just like humans do. That is why I told you that there's a "soul" inside of it, the gem will feel your emotions and will release the same amount of power as your emotion. But, it needs to be bonded with you first." Micheal explained.

"Okay, is this gem a Project item? And how do I bond with it?" Adam asked while pointing towards his belt.

"It's not a Project item. It's a gem that was found on the moon, and it's a very, very powerful gem. From the reports that I have read, no one knows the limit of that gem. But, the previous users of it have shown that the gem can stand toe to toe with Project items." Micheal explained.

"Wait a minute. This gem was found on the moon?!" Adam asked while staring towards Micheal who nodded while smiling wide.

"That's right! It was found on the moon. There was an expedition on the moon that was done by my father when he was a teenager, they were sent to the moon to investigate a meteor that was supposed to fly into the earth. At the last minute, the meteor changed its own course and hit the moon instead." Micheal explained while he crossed his legs.

"My father investigated the gigantic meteor for a couple of months and found that gem right in the middle of it," Micheal added while pointing towards Adam's belt.

"THAT IS AWESOME! A GEM THAT WAS INSIDE A METEOR!" Roo excitedly shouted while staring towards Adam's bet.

"I agree with Roo it is awesome, I have played with that gem for a couple of years but it still amazes me every time I touch it." Micheal smiled.

"And how to bond with it. I'm not really sure how, because none of the previous users have the same kind of way to bond with it. They usually met a person which could be a man, a woman, a child, or an elder. After meeting the person they will be given some sort of a compatibility test in their dream and each of the tests is different." Micheal explained.

"Some of the previous users were put inside of a story and have to make difficult choices, some were put in a middle of unending fights, and some were told to display their abilities. Some of them who woke up from that dream and failed the test are unable to use the gem, and the rest that succeeded on the test can covert their emotions into raw power." Micheal added.

"There was a couple of owners who didn't get a compatibility test. One day the gem started to react to them and they were able to convert their emotions into pure power but, there's a huge difference between them and the ones who did the compatibility test." Micheal raised his index finger.

"They were hundreds of times weaker and sometimes the gem just stop working on them for no reason. I'm not really sure if you will get the test or not but, I'm sure whatever the test that the gem gave you you can do it." Micheal smiled towards Adam.

"That is a lot of information... So, when I went to sleep tonight, I will either get a test or not is that right?" Adam asked.

"No. That's not how they work." Micheal shook his head.

"Then how?" Adam asked.

"There's no easy way of telling but, take a look at your gem now. Currently, it's not glowing right?" Micheal asked.

"Yeah, it's not glowing," Adam confirmed after looking towards his belt.

"If it starts to project an image of a moving whirlpool that means that either you have had a test and pass it, or you can convert your emotions into pure power freely. But, if that gem turns pitch black it means that it has rejected you." Micheal explained while looking towards Adam's belt.

"It won't give you a test right away. From the reports that I have read, some of the previous owners got a test around two or three weeks after they received it and that's the medium time for a test. Some lucky ones got the test in just a couple of days after receiving it and there was a couple of them who got a test after owning the gem for a couple of weeks." Micheal explained.

"But, usually it won't take longer than two months so, don't worry. I wish you luck and when you get the gem to work, please contact me right away okay?" Micheal smiled towards Adam who nodded.

"Oh! I almost forgot! This is very important so keep this in your mind Lion. When you train, don't do anything else except running until you got a test from the gem. It's very sensitive so you have to do the one thing that you want it to multiply because it can multiply other things." Micheal warned Adam.

"I will remember that, and this gem can multiply other things than speed?" Adam asked while holding the gem.

"Yes. From the reports, they have tried various things on it. They tested on speed, strength, intelligence, and many more things. And the result shows that this gem excels at multiplying speed because the others weren't as strong as speed. Oh! They tried it on "jump" as well, it didn't show an amazing result but it was funny when I read that the woman who did it, managed to jump one hundred and fifty meters." Micheal explained.

"Well, that's all I know for now about that gem. By the way, your team is insanely strong compared to the other teams." Micheal said while looking towards the Beasts.

"Gem of Matter, Aurora and Jacob, Projectile manipulation, Power limbs, and Leonids." Micheal listed and pointed towards Adam's gem.

"Leonids that's a cool name and Power limbs... That's the first time I heard of Roo's item name." Adam looked towards Roo's hand and legs.

"Oh! Why didn't you tell your teammates the name of your item Roo?" Micheal looked towards Roo and smiled while he laughed and scratch the back of his head.

"Power limbs are one of the items that I had the most fun of creating. The more Roo fight and use his limbs, the gear inside the limbs will warm up and create a lot of power. And if he gets angry the limbs will move even faster and his punches will be even more powerful." Micheal explained.

"If you remember on the games, his limbs slowly change their color and that color indicated the amount of power is his punch. That was a very good idea that Sasha gave me." Micheal added and pointed towards Roo's hands.

"A very simple item, for someone who loves simple things." Bunny smiled while looking towards Roo.

"Bull I have a question for you. Your gem is called the Gem of Matter why don't you try to manipulate other matters? I watched you in your games and all you manipulate were metals, why is that?" Micheal asked while looking towards Bull.

"Well, it's pretty complicated to manipulate other matters. The metals that I can easily manipulate took a lot of time to master but, I'm currently learning to manipulate more kinds of metals and manipulate them at the same time." Bull explained.

"Okay, that's good. Keep training your Gem of Matter because I'm sure you can unlock its full potential, and if you do that you will be insanely strong." Micheal said.

"Is my gem a Project item?" Bull asked.

"Yes, it is. Parts of the record of it are gone so I don't know who made it but, it has an interesting record. There was a guy who used to own that gem before it was given to the Monkey Emperor and he was able to manipulate ten different kinds of matters at the same time but, he said that it wasn't the full potential of the gem. He said that he wasn't even close to understanding the powers of the gem." Micheal explained.

"Wow, I have a very long road ahead of me." Bull smiled while looking towards his hands.

"Crow, how is your Projectile Manipulation?" Micheal asked as he looked towards Crow.

"It's amazing! I can control a lot more projectiles now and I can spin so much longer! I love it, thank you so much, Micheal." Crow excitedly answered and smiled.

"Amazing, it warms my heart that you love it." Micheal smiled.

"How about you Bunny? How's Aurora and Jacob?" Micheal looked towards Bunny.

"I'm good and they're currently having a heated argument about coffee in my head," Bunny answered while Aurora and Jacob filled her head with their points regarding the kinds of coffee that Jacob bought.

"What about your abilities?" Micheal asked.

"It's going very well. I cut my limbs and drink various kinds of poisons every day for my training and trying my best to level up my abilities." Bunny answered with a wide smile on her face.

"That... I think I won't comment on that. Good luck on your training Bunny." Micheal stuttered while Bunny laughed at him.

"Thank you for this belt, Micheal," Adam said while he stands inside the elevator with his teammates behind him. Micheal smiled and waved towards the Beasts as the elevator door closed.
