When Clair looked at me, I knew something was wrong. "Clair what's wrong?" I asked slowly approaching her. "Iris I'm so sorry." she said repeatedly hugging me. I looked at Jamie who couldn't look at me. I pulled away from her and made my way to him. "Jamie?" I said he balls up his fists and then released them. He then looked at me. "I can't marry ya lass. I am marrying your sister." this shattered my heart. I turn slowly and glare at Clair. She shivers with fear. "Iris I." she tried before I walked away. I just wanted to get away from them. "Iris....Lass....Iris please listen to me...Iris" Jamie called after me but I could barely hear him. I reach my bed chamber only to feel a sharp pain. It all happened so quickly. The nurse maids and Mrs.Fitz were helping me. A few hours later Jamie and my son was born. I sat in bed holding him. "Can I come in lass?" I looked up to see Dougal. "You are already here. What is it you need Dougal?" I didn't Mean to be so bitter, but I was hurt over the news. "It was my suggestion to pair them. Jamie didn't want to go threw with it. Black Jack Randle was going to ship her back to London. This was the only way to keep her here." He said making me see why. "oh god where is Jamie?" I said feeling like a fool. "he is standing outside. He hasn't left that spot since you went into labor." He said gently before opening the door. "Come on in lad meet ya son." He said before leaving. Jamie walked in slowly his eyes on the bundle in my arms. "I...I have a son." He smiles looking at the baby. "Do you want to hold him?" I asked making him look at me shocked. He nods sitting down before taking him from me. I sit in one of the other chairs. "Have ya named him yet?" Jamie asked I shook my head. "I was leaving that to you. You are the lad's father." I said watching him look at the boy. "You said that you liked the names Aaron and Alasdair." He said not looking away from him. "Alasdair James Fraser welcome to the world." He said tears rolling down his cheeks. "Give him to me before ya drown him in sault water." I laughed taking the small boy. "I want you and Alasdair to go." Jamie said geting a quill and paper. "Take our son and go to Lallybroch. When you get there hand this to my sister Jenny. She will know what to do from there. Iris I really am sorry and wish is would be you marrying me." I sigh "You have no idea how much I want that to." I said watching him walk out my chambers. I sigh looking down at Alasdair. "It's you and me against the world lad. You will be a good man I know it."
