One in the Making

The dance hall served as the same hall used for big banquets, and so breakfast, dinner, and supper for the guests were all served here as well. After a hard night of cleaning the dance hall, the maids scuffled around again to serve the guests—or a number of them—with the meal Artie requested to be served for them. It didn't help that most of the younger nobles had been grouchy from the ringing in their ears and the heaviness of their heads.

Not to mention that some of them were feeling sick from the upset stomach. Who would have thought that perhaps celebrating so hard in Ellis Plains would bring so much humiliation? Most older nobles even gossiped about how the archduke planned for his wine to have this effect to stop nobles from getting drunk in his castle.
