Gaurie and the other emperors were quiet. They were expecting too much from the angel, but only the three were angry at the result. The emperor who swore allegiance only hummed and stroked at his chin. "So? What will happen now, Mistress?"

"We will proceed," Larkin answered for Artie as he walked past the emperors. Gaurie glared at him, but the archduke didn't even care. He just placed Artie on the Black Kodiak before mounting him as well. "Try not to get in the way if you want to feel safe."
