Subduing the Prince

The royal seneschal seemed to be the one who had handled everything for a very long time now. Even under the glare of the archduke, the royal seneschal kept his slightly smiling face. Larkin had no reason to turn down the seneschal as the banquet was indeed a pretense for the meeting of the royal court. If they had a decision made after a few hours, at least the high nobility would be the first to know.

Larkin reached out to pick up Artie's hand from the side, making her look at him. "Behave yourself. Don't cause trouble." It was not like everything would be Artie's fault entirely, but this woman seemed to have sore spots in strange places. Since he wouldn't be around, no one might be able to stop her.

"I'll try my best." With an innocent smile on her face, Artie only made Larkin more concerned. However, he still left the wife on her own after following the royal seneschal.
