Next to her came steps that echoed on the wooden floor. The heels of the woman sure made noise to announce her coming, and her strong woman scent quickly notified Artie of the company she was willing to give. The archduchess straightened her back and took a look at the demon lady.

Unlike Alfora who had lizard features, this woman was a bird. Her eyes were quite small yet very clear. The peak of her lips was easy to mistake as a beak, and her nose had no holes where it should be. The holes were at the side of the bridge… just like a bird. However, her face wasn't bizarre—in fact, Artie still categorized her as beautiful.

"A woman should never assume such a provocative stance. Are you inviting the sailors to feast on your bottom?" She laughed before presenting herself to the archduchess. "I am the vice-captain of the thirteenth company. I am known as Astraid in the seas."

"...? In the seas?" Artie lifted her brows. She noticed that Nerud had said the same thing.
