It's been a while since she went on one by herself, so she's pretty excited.
"Hi, Avyzhia. You're doing the quests alone this time?" The quest officer asked when she
handed her chosen quests.
"Yup. My brother has some business on Singya for a couple of days."
"Finally some freedom." She chuckled.
"You said it." Avyzhia grinned mischievously.
"Well, just be careful out there."
"Will do."
After her quests were confirmed, Avyzhia immediately headed for the town of Meownia
which was the one nearest out of the two quests she took. She was ecstatic to get there
since it's one of her favorite places in WoG mainly because of the locals living in it.
As soon as she was about to enter the town however, a group of adventurers
surrounded her. They obviously mean harm, although for some reason most of them
showed signs of fear as they pointed their weapons at her.
She frowned and regarded them cautiously.
"Now that you're finally alone, we can have our revenge." A man who looked like the
leader of the group sneered at her. He looked haggard, like he had been drinking and
hadn't been properly taking care of himself for days. "Because of you... we lost
everything... I lost everything. I'll make you pay and regret it."
"Aren't you making a mistake here?" She asked innocently. "I have no idea who you are."

Avyzhia panted heavily as she managed to barely avoid another attack from the leader
of the group that ambushed her. She managed to hold out for quite some time but the
collective attacks that she received from the enemies are taking a toll on her body. In no
time, she was covered in cuts and deep wounds both from physical and magic damage.
She was also inflicted with one particular fire-based attack that seriously burned most
of her left leg, making it impossible for her not to flinch even with the slightest
movement.
And it doesn't help that she's rapidly losing MP after all the evasive skills she had to use
earlier when the leader seemed to have lost his mind and attacked her indiscriminately,
not to mention her HP with the 'burned' status of her leg.
"You don't know who we are?" He said threateningly, as he conjured yet another large fire
ball. "Are you mocking us?!"
Avyzhia frowned at the leader. From the looks of his weapon and equipments, he's
definitely a swordsman class and yet he seemed to be able to use advance magic skills
easily. Swordsmen are generally known to have low mana, even those Holy Paladins who serve the church. So it's really peculiar for one to be able to conjure a fire ball of
that caliber that obviously requires large amounts of mana.
More importantly, she really doesn't have any idea who these people are or what she
ever did to piss them off especially their leader. She's pretty sure she hadn't met them
before.
The leader particularly pissed off at him, he was so intense that even the others with
him thought that he's being a little too much. Although they still did as they're told to
attack her.
Could it be from before she transmigrated to this world? It could be, though something
tells her that isn't really it.
"If it weren't for your meddling, Blackwood wouldn't have lost Citrussyn Cave... Killian
would've been still alive... and we wouldn't have lost 'his' favor. It's all because of you,
you despicable wench!"
Blackwood? They're members of the Blackwood guild? Well, she did hear that for some
reason after the guild war against Emblem, Blackwood was on the verge of disbanding.
But why does it seem like they're particularly blaming her when she didn't even
participate in the war?
And who on earth is this 'Killian' they're holding her responsible for? None of these
accusations are making any sense at all.
Whatever the real reason behind their hostilely though, it doesn't change the fact that
she's really in grave danger. This feels just like that time when she was attacked by
Evergreen's strongest boss monster.
When the leader was about to throw another fireball at her though, thick trunks of wood
suddenly enclosed Avyzhia like a protective shield. Fortunately, even though the part
that came in contact with the fire got singed, it wasn't that bad and she was perfectly
safe inside.
"M-Momo?"
There's no mistaking it. This presence, although was greatly decreased, is the same as
the boss monster.
Just when she thought of him, the Mosserian actually showed up although this time it
wasn't to threaten her but protect her to instead.
With Momo here, it could only mean that 'he's' probably here as well. Just the thought of it made her heart skip a beat.
