Dmitri paced the confines of his great room. It was done. He'd made his intentions clear. He didn't shower when he woke up because he could still smell Nikka on his skin. Did she understand what he'd told her? Had he expressed the danger she was in because of his curse? Did she believe him?


All these thoughts left him exhausted, but her scent left him horny. As vampire, little was denied him, but love made him hesitate. His greatest fear was that he would harm her and it terrified him.
