Elaine and Zachary were still talking when suddenly, she was no longer in her prison cell. She felt as though she were flying through the air, although in a horrible way, as though through a tornado. Everything went black for a moment, then she suddenly snapped into a different place. Her head spun, and her stomach felt queasy from the journey. The metallic taste of metal from the magic was in her mouth.
She found herself in an immaculately decorated room, lavish in every conceivable way. There were plush pillows, opulent furniture, and paintings adorning the walls. Silver and gold gilded everything, and marble gave touches of hardness to the otherwise soft and sensual room. Still, everything that was not silver or gold was in a shade of black. The curtains, paintings, even the carpet was all black. Elaine felt as though she had fallen into some sort of universe where there was no color.
