13. Training grounds

Taehyung and Jungkook were walking through the halls, heading to the training room. Jungkook was a bit nervous, since he didn't know what to expect. Taehyung hadn't said a word since they left Jungkook's room together.

Taehyung on the other hand was thinking how he should start Jungkook's training. He didn't want it to be too rough from the start but he knew Jungkook could handle a little harder training. He had seen Jungkook's body. He was in a really good condition, despite him being a coward basically. Well, Taehyung kind of understood why Jungkook was scared of everything.

He decided to break the silence and talk to Jungkook while they were walking. "So, what do you want to do first when we get there?" He asked curiously.

"Hmm... I don't realy know. I don't even know what I'm capable of." Jungkook sighed and looked at the ground. "Maybe we should test my capabilities?" He said, looking at Taehyung's fierce expression nervously. "Or maybe not..."

"No, no, that would be a great way to start." Taehyung chuckled. "Should I test you?" He smirked and looked at Jungkook's brown doe eyes.

"Ah, s- sure." Jungkook stuttered and looked away. "Oh, we're here already!" He beamed as he saw the door to the training room ahead.

They opened the big wooden door and went inside. The training room was huge and it had a lot of space for training. All kinds of equipment were neatly placen on different shelves and even armor was hanging on the wall. It made Jungkook nervous. What if he can't fight? He's never fought anyone in his life.

"Um, what am I suposed to do now." Jungkook looked at Taehyung, who was streching at the moment. His figure was really beautiful. Jungkook loved his black curly hair that was falling on his forehead while he did some exercises. The way his eyes followed Jungkook's every move made him blush even more. It was like he was examining his every little move. It was making Jungkook very anxious.

"Maybe we should find out what your element is." Taehyung hummed and cracked his neck. "It might help us."

"Alright! What do I have to do?" Jungkook looked innocently at Taehyung, who was already sitting on the ground, ready to explain everything to Jungkook.

"Just sit down so I can explain everything to you." Taehyung commanded and Jungkook did exactly that. "Alright, now that you are listening, I'll tell everything that I know, okay?" Taehyung looked at Jungkook again.

"Go ahead." Jungkook smiled.

"Okay, so, you are aware that every one of us has powers, right?" Taehyung questioned and Jungkook nodded his head slowly. "Good. Actually all of us awakened our powers when we were appointed as kings. We got our powers, one king at a time. I was the 6th to get my powers, as you know, I'm the 6th king."

"And once one got their powers, the previous king lost them. It's pretty simple. Now that you got your power, it could mean that the previous king is either dead, or lost their power somehow, I don't know. At least that is what I heard." Taehyung explained carefully.

"So the last 7th king is either dead or lost his powers?" Jungkook asked quietly from himself. "That would explain the sudden awakening, right?" He grinned at Taehyung.

"You're right, but it doesn't really add up to me...because...well, the 7th king has beed dead for 10 years now..." Taehyug looked at the wall next to him. Jungkook widened his eyes and his chin drobbed to the foor.

"Wh- what?! He's been dead for 10 years???" Jungkook yelled in shock. "That's... weird." He looked at the ground, ashamed because he yelled stupidly. "I mean, that definitely doesn't add up." He looked at Taehyung that was now staring at Jungkook with a weird expression.

"Yeah... and what's weirder, is that the other kings haven't even needed a 7th king until now. Thy just suddenly got the idea. It's like their memory was whiped and they just forgot that the 7th king existed at all. It's weird." Taehyung confessed. "And what's more weird, is tha-"

"That you still remember, right?" Jungkook interrupted.

"Yes, that." Taehyung rolled his eyes and continued his lecture. "Do you remember anything about the 7th king?" He narrowed his eyes and looked at Jungkook, who was already thinking hard about all the possible reasons for this. "Jungkook?"

"Ah, well, I can remember his nam- wait, what? Why was I saying that?" Jungkook looked at Taehyung with a confused expression. His eyes were blinking and it looked like he forgot what he was about to say.

"Come, on remember. His name." Taehyung growled.

"Whose name?" Jungkook asked innocently.

"Wha- The 7th king's name. Taehyung narrowed his eyes and looked at Jungkook who was watching Taehyung. Why the hell did he forget what he was about to say? Is it a spell or something? This hasn't happened before. "What's the 7th king's name." He repeated again.

"Well, his name is- mmhm-" Jungkook tried. "Huh? Why can't I say it?" He blinked again.

"Tch, It's a spell of some kind." Taehyung clicked his tongue in annoyance and stood up. "Never mind that, let's begin the training, shall we?" He smirked and signaled Jungkook to stand up too.

"How are you going to find out my element?" Jungkook tilted his head.

"Simple, I'm just going to attack you." Taehyung smirked with dark gaze and got ready to attacj Jungkook.

"Wait! What? You're just going to attack me?!" He panicked and ran in circles, ruffling his hair in frustration at the same time. "How the hell am I supposed to block your attacks?" Jungkook yelled at Taehyung.

"Imagine," was all that Taehyung said, before he clapped his hands together and closed his eyes at the same time, concentrating on something.

Suddenly, his hands were glowing red and a ball of fire was floating in front of him. It illuminated the slightly dark training room with it's light. Taehyung was ready to attack Jungkook at any time, but it seemed like Junkgook was having a panic attack of some kind. He was balled up on the floor and sobbing his brown eyes out.

The ball of fire disappeared immediately and Taehyung ran to the younger one in worry. "Hey, are you okay?" He lifted the boy's chin up so he would look at the older. "I didn't mean to scare you like this..." He mumbled.

"I- I was just so surprised... that's all." Jungkook sobbed and tightened his grip on Taehyung's shirt to feel more protected. "I'm sorry if I disturbed you." He sniffled.

"No, it's okay. Do you want to do it again?" He asked carefully from the younger. Jungkook only nodded and wiped his wet tears away from his face before standing up again. "Alright, be ready. I'll use water this time, okay?" Taehyugn reassuredly said. The cherry-red haired boy only nodded again and took a deep breath before concentrating on Taehyung's figure.

"Alright, here goes nothing." Taehyung sighed and clapped again, this time a wall of water was formed in front of his body. He glanced at Jungkook, who was suprisingly much more calmer than before. He seemed to be ready. "Okay, be ready. I'm going to attack." Taehyung yelled. Jungkook stiffened his stance and put his hands in front of his face as if to protect himself.

"I'm ready!" Jungkook yelled and it only made Taehyung chuckle. Was this boy really going to block his attack with his bare hands?

The older separated his hands and moved them in front of him. At the same time, the wall of water started moving at an incredible speed torwards Jungkook's figure. In no time, it reached Jungkook. But the it stopped,

Because a gust of wind had blown the water away from Jungkook.
