Idol

1 week later

The press scrambled and tumbled over each other in an attempt gain the attention of Jin, Jungkook and Yoongi. The trio exited Big Hit's building with their managers, and body guards close by. After the company released a statement of the members' career paths, the media had been requesting interviews, or cover specials. Producers began to reach out to Manager Hoebeon with scripts they felt Jin would be perfect for. As soon as he received the potential roles, he handed them over the documents to Jin to read through. By the end of the week, Jin had settled on a role as a second lead in a drama. He wished to explore his acting abilities and the character in the film had a backstory that would allow Jin to change into a character opposite the person everyone sees him as. Instead of choosing a role where he would be the main lead, hero, or comedian, he set his eyes on a darker, deep role.

Jungkook continued to work on his independent album, and directing for other idols. He was in full support of Jin's upcoming drama, and vowed to visit him on site. Of course, Jin welcomed his presence. Yoongi and Eun-ha agreed on a schedule, and that week they cleaned out an empty studio in the building and he began composing music. He was in his own zone, only answering to Eun-ha's questions, or requests. They managed to work together with a few disagreements, usually over scheduling. She was true to her word, and fought the urge to engage in arguments with him while at work. She would cooperate with his requests, and he was satisfied with her working ethics.

Jin and Manager Hoebeom left first in their van to meet with the director of the drama. Filming was to begin soon, and a read through with some of the cast was to be done to check chemistry. Jungkook and Manager Sejin were the next to leave for a photoshoot with Seo-yeon for Big Hit's virtual magazine. He released an album that was a success, and he was to begin touring which would end with his enlistment. Seo-yeon was to feature pictures of him along with an interview with one of their writers.

Yoongi and Eun-ha were the last to leave the crowd of media. She was about to walk around the car to enter the through the other door when Yoongi lightly tapped her arm. Catching his eyes, he made a gesture that stated that he wanted her to enter first. Not wanting to cause a fuss, and being in a rush, she hurriedly slid into the car. He quickly entered after her. The body guard closed the door, and joined the driver in the front.

"What time are we supposed to meet her?"

Yoongi did not waste time. He was always business and wanted to know the ins and outs of anything that pried him away from his studio. Word had spread around the entertainment world that Yoongi would be composing music, and was open to write songs for other singers. Idols, and singers around the world wished to either collaborate or have him write a song for them. He was choosy about the artists he wanted to collaborated with, which Eun-ha kept in mind.

Three days ago she was on her way to meet with Yoongi when Manager Sejin pulled her to the side. She didn't have time to question what the sudden "meeting" was about, when he handed over a folder to her. She opened it as he began to speak. The profile of a beautiful girl, an idol, smiled charmingly from the file.

"Eun-ha, this is Lovee. She is the perfect route for Yoongi to take on his next project. She shares the same views that he has," Sejin pitched, "He's always supported self-love, and sets to break double standards and judgements. With her popularity, this will bring attention to his music."

"But he doesn't need another artist to boost his popularity," she defended. One aspect she set as Yoongi's manager was that he would be free to choose who he produces, or writes for. He was a extremely talented musician, and she did not want to depend on another artist, especially when he didn't need it.

"Of course. What I mean is that with both their talent, everyone will go crazy over their combined skills."

She scanned the profile, "Stage name, Lovee. Birth name, Song Aera. Twenty six years old. Began a modeling career at the age ten, and enrolled as a traninee at an academy at the age of sixteen. Her charm and appearance were major factors as to why she was scouted fast, and debuted at the age of seventeen. Her big break came Staff, and others that have worked with her state that her "angel" image is not just that. She is recognized for her humanitarianism, and fight against bullying, or belittling of any kind."

Eun-ha sighed. She could see why Sejin wanted to have Yoongi work with this woman. She was young, and driven. Clearly at the peak of her career, this would benefit both artist. She would be given astounding lyrics produced by an artist known for his creative and unique abilities. He would be given an opportunity to produce for an artist that shares the same values as him, and who is granting him full creative ability to her album.

"I'll bring this to his attention. I can't grant any promises. You know how he is."

Sejin laughed at her comment. "I trust in you. How has it been going these past few days? You two getting along?"

"Other than him calling me out for being a minute or two late, we've found a system that works."

With that she scampered off to broach the project to Yoongi. He was jotting down notes on a sheet of paper, and making adjustments to a piece of music. She knocked on the door to make her presence know. He paused his music, and gestured for her to sit down.

"We don't have anything planned for today. What's up?"

"I needed to confirm with you the fitting of your suit for Jin's wedding. I cleared your schedule for the last two days of next week. You can use that to prepare for the ceremony."

He nodded in agreement. He watched her as she made marks on her tablet. After his challenge to her and her professionalism, she proved to him that she could indeed be his manager. They rarely argued, and when he didn't want to do something, she respected his wishes. He was impressed with how cognizant she was. Staff knew to reach her before ever interrupting him, and she only brought him projects that reflected his views. She also handled the press well. She answered all the questions as vaguely as possible. Only enough to keep them at bay, but still itching for more.

"What are you writing?" He asked as she continued to fiddle with her tablet. She had been staring at it for two minutes when he finally broke her thoughts.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"Spill," he laughed.

"What?"

"You want to pitch something, but don't know how to bring it up," he casually took the folder that had been sitting on her lap the moment she sat down. She attempted to grab it, but he was too fast. She watched as he skimmed the contents. His face did not register any sort of recognition, which she hadn't anticipated. Lovee's big break that launched her career didn't happen until she was twenty-three years old, which as around the time Yoongi had enlisted. By the time he left to serve, she became well known. He wasn't around to witness it.

"You want me to write for her?" he asked. She straightened her posture. "What do you think?"

"I think you two could benefit from working together. Her manager states that she is open to whatever you want to produce. She is known for her high ranges, and capability to sing a great ballad. This would be a great album for you to direct. It'll showcase the lyrics your write, and will be your first time producing an entire album for a female artist."

His eyes never left hers. He wasn't sure who this "Lovee" was, so he had to depend on Eun-ha's professional opinion. She seemed confident in her pitch.

"Ok," he surprised her with how fast he agreed, "Schedule a meet, and we can use the time until then to review her music."

That had been three days ago. Now they sat in conference room of the hotel Lovee was temporarily residing in. They were told by her manager that she would finish a photo shoot for a fashion magazine, and then meet the at the hotel. Yoongi and Eun-ha were leaning over the laptop brought when the door swung open.

Eun-ha felt herself becoming self-conscious as the beautiful young woman entered the small room. Her profile picture did not do her justice, as she was even more gorgeous in person. Eun-ha anxiously glanced at her jeans, and pink buttoned blouse. She knew she was dressed as most busy managers do, but in the presence of this stunning girl, she felt untidy.

Yoongi on the other hand did not seemed fazed by the girl's attractive appearance. In his eyes, she was just a potential co-worker/client. He caught Eun-ha's anxious movement to place her hair behind her ear. He playfully tapped her foot with his where Lovee and her manager would not see the contact. She glanced up at him, and he lightly shook his head as if to say she had nothing to be ashamed of.

"Suga!" Lovee breathlessly exclaimed, "It is truly an honor."

"Thank you. I have heard wonderful things about you, and your music is beautifully written, and performed." Yoongi politely offered her an empty seat, then took his own right next to Eun-ha.

"This is my manager, Cho Eun-ha," Yoongi introduced proudly. Lovee smiled in greeting.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Cho," Lovee said.

"You too." Eun-ha replied.

"Oh, this is my manager Ji-hoon," Lovee directed towards Yoongi. A handsome man in his early thirties slightly bowed in greeting.

"Miss. Cho and I have been in contact," he said in a friendly manner, "I apologize for not reaching out to you directly. Sejin and I were already meeting in regards to another artist, and the topic just came up."

"No need to apologize," Eun-ha brushed off his apology. He had been so gracious the past three days. He was willing to work around the wedding, and offer her assistance with any management issues.

"Manager Sejin spoke highly of you within reason. Lovee and I have not been disappointed. I look forward to working with you during this process," his face became even more handsome as he graced her with a charming smile.

Eun-ha felt herself blush, and unexpectedly made eye contact with Yoongi. He had been listening to the exchange while watching the friendly smiles. He coughed abnormally loud. He frowned in annoyance at her. 'Why doesn't he just ask her out for ramen while he's at it?' he irritatingly thought to himself.

"So, Lovee," he began.

"Call me Aera," she interrupted. Eun-ha and Yoongi glanced at each other. She smiled at him, "I'd prefer to use my real name while working with my producer. Leave my stage name for when I perform, or am meeting fans."

Eun-ha peeked at Ji-hoon, who looked embarrassed at his idol's brazen behavior. It was evident that Aera held more than hero worship for Yoongi. The twenty-six year old was a walking manga character, hearts in her eyes for her celebrity crush. The room filled with an awkward tension. Eun-ha and Yoongi exchanged looks. The future of this album suddenly felt heavy with Aera's request, and the obvious devotion in her eyes.
