A Leader Appears

It has just been a week since the attack of the Ancestors that had hit the Earth on Nov. 29. Several countries have fallen to them, while the majority have been able to hold them back with the technology they possess.

Due to the situation that they had been put on, just like the Philippines, all the other countries who had enough resources were able to assemble a force that comprised of young individuals who had the skill and ability to back them up and train them into a unit that could fight the enemy head to head despite the disparity of ability.

But even if they had the strongest team, no one could beat an unknown force in just a span of a few days.

The situation for most countries was that of a standstill, even with weaponry and so on, the Ancestors who came out all had a unique difference to them. Which allowed them to avoid certain dangers or tactics that the military or several forces had tried to pursue.

That could be said by noticing that the Ancestors that took over North Korea had the ability or skill to nullify attacks coming from projectiles, which in turn allowed them to slaughter the army rapidly.

While the ones in the Philippines were able to eject out a light substance from their weapons giving them a blow which contained more lethality than an ordinary strike.

This information could confirm that every single country would have a unique existence attacking their home.

That is why the assembly of groups containing unique skills would come in handy while going against them in any condition. So if ever a country was to be able to eradicate the enemy in their territory, then they'd be able to send their units abroad to help push the Ancestors back with enough preparation.

Back in the United Nations Conference Hall.

As before, all the representatives for the remaining countries have gathered, except for the fact that a select few have not appeared. Everyone would know that they had perished along with the country they stood for.

"I'd like a report on how the country representatives are faring against the Ancestors, also on their personal group assembled." The Head had spoken as usual.

One by one each country had come up to discuss their situation against the enemy. Some displayed reports that they could hold well against them, while some in worse conditions. Along with information that they were able to find talents with the energy that was sought after around the world which could give them a clear advantage over the Ancestors. For example: Lieutenant General Lao in the Philippines who could traverse at abnormal speeds without effort, which brings great benefits.

A side note regarding Lao and Zhu. They both originally came from China, but with national affairs and problems, they had moved themselves to the Philippines which had granted them the ability and time to make a name for themselves in public and the army.

As the representatives said, they were able to find people harnessing the energy in different ways conclusively similar to Ern and Sam forming their own teams of unique units.

"Good, as long as we bring up the students this way, we'll be able to lock in our advantage towards them in the near future. But for now, we must focus on getting rid of them as quickly as possible, due to the fact that we still have no important intel on them besides knowing their abilities and ancestorship."

As the Head had spoken, the doors to the room had blown open as several men in black had come marching over to him bringing exaggerating details. Being handed a folder, the Head looked up to everyone then back to the folder opening it.

{Report [North Korea?] Situation:

Dec. 5, 2020

Over several passing visits using the satellite over the vicinity of North Korea, we have sightings of a figure that seems to be in command of the Ancestors. Using visual data, it could be confirmed that this unknown leader has capabilities far surpassing the ordinary ancestor.

Dec. 6, 2020

With a specialist of North Korean History, he had deduced that the figure is known to be Kim Il-sung.

Further to be investigated}

"What?!"

Unbeknownst to the representatives, they had all stood in wait as they were in anticipation of what the report had been written.

"Everyone, I wonder if you all know of the first Supreme Leader of North Korea after the second world war that had split Korea?"

Everyone in the room had nodded to the question asked by the head. Kim Il-sung, or the very First Supreme Leader of North Korea was a dangerous man who had big ambitions for his country. But due to age, he could only pass that ambition down to his son Kim Jong-il as he passed away. In short, he was the man that was able to split a country under his rule.

"A leader has been spotted out in the encampment of the North Korean Ancestors, and that very leader is Kim Il-sung...." The Head replied disdainfully.

"Impossible!"

"He is meant to be dead! There is no way he could be out commanding troops."

All the representatives began having cold sweat drip down their backs, if what the report said was true. Then the world was in for something dangerous, even if he was but one man.

"I think you've forgotten the very existence of the Ancestors Representative. They are the country's past inhabitants. While most countries have Ancestors dating either thousands or hundred of years ago, North Korea was only established half a century ago. It is not surprising that the Ancestors there, would be not that old." The Head had explained.

"Along with the report, we can make a guess that if a country were to be ceased by the Ancestors who had invaded. A leader from long ago would make an appearance, giving who knows what benefit to them."

"Now with Kim Il-sung as leader of the Ancestors in NK, it makes them an even more formidable target as they already have a problematic ability to us."

Silence had befallen inside the room as they began processing the words of the Head. What he stated was logical and factual based on the information they had received over time. Now with a leader, their anti-range ability could be even stronger if they lead their imagination astray.

But it was a well known fact now. North Korea or NK Ancestors would be deemed as a world wide threat that could affect them all greatly.

"The representatives of China and South Korea, I want you both to put extra security on the border which connects you to the new bound threat. You will be provided help along the way as you also have to deal with the Ancestors that have invaded your lands."

"We will do as you say, Head."

Both representatives had agreed to the order given by the head. If so to say, they were both relieved as their own government was in the middle of a standstill on how to deal with this new threat. Even with the showing of a Governmental outbreak.

"Great, now I want all the reps to put more resources in training the talents you;ve come to recruit as they will be a future powerhouse for not just us, our whole world in the future."

"Dismissed!"

The meeting had been adjourned as everyone left their seats, on their way to their residences outside the UNSafe Building. The representatives would not go back to their home countries, but rather only communicate as this was the best option for all of them right now in case a new meeting would suddenly appear giving them new information which could be crucial to the war. This system would be holding the greatest efficiency and tactness in dealing with the Ancestors.

"How has the reformation taken place for our dear country?" A man said with a calm face.

"We have successfully taken over the main regions Supreme Leader, all that is left is to establish a foothold and move our forces outwards." The Ancestor had responded.

"No need to rush, now where is my dearest Grandson yes?"

"He's waiting downstairs in the cell you had allocated Supreme Leader!"

Nodding blissfully at them, the man made his way downstairs to have a meeting with a dearest relative he had never gotten to meet before he died.

"You remind me of your father Kim…"

"Kim Il-sung! You don't know a thing about my father!" Kim Jong-un had frantically roared in anger as he saw the figure look down on him.

"Now, why the anger? You should be treating me with respect. After all, I can't believe the poor way you've dealt with our land."

Eyes driven with madness as he stared at this man, he made a will down in his heart that he could not have this man continue his ambition. It would lead to chaos.
