Chapter 5 Coldness

After washing her face and changing clothes Fariha was ready to go downstairs. Yeah, her appearance was perfect except the small cut on her lower lip.

Jimmy was having a decent chat with Mr. Ri while waiting for Fariha. Once Fariha appeared he nod at Mr. Ri and walked out. Fariha glance towards her father not understanding the situation.

"Mr. Li is waiting for you at Civil Affairs Bureau. He doesn't want me to come that's why you are going along with his assistant. You will not be able to return here afterwards. You can go and meet your sister."

Fariha's eyes turned red after hearings this. Tears started to fall from her eyes. She didn't know that her farewell is gonna be this hurtful. Ria doesn't want to see her face. Her fiance didn't personally come to take her with him. And his father is not showing a slight grievance at her departure. After looking at her father for a long time Fariha finally withdraw her eyes.

She desperately wants to hug her father for the first and last time. But she controlled her emotions because she knew her status quite well. She wasn't worthy.

Dem Ri was quite surprised seeing her leave, just like that. He was expecting her to create a show that's why he has requested Mr. Jimmy to wait outside.

Seeing the lifeless doll from the review mirror, Jimmy finds it hard to concentrate on the driving. She was a sight to behold. After imagining her future with Mr. Li he couldn't help but sympathize with her.

After reaching Civil Affairs Bureau Fariha got out of the car with the help of Jimmy. Shortly after that, the new Bugatti La Voiture Noire appeared in front of them.

"Look Mr. Li has arrived."

Recognizing the car of his boss Jimmy told Fariha with a smile.

Fariha was not feeling well. Her temperature was quite high. After hearing Jimmy's announcement she lost her balance and fell pathetically. Her forehead got badly injured. Jimmy got shocked after seeing this. 'O lady please show some mercy. Sob sob. I'm still single ready to get mingle. Sob sob.'

Yang Li lost his temper after seeing this site. What a fragile girl. "GET UP!" he shouted.

Fariha got up quickly but the pain was unbearable. Fariha started sobbing badly.

"What? Don't want your life anymore?" Jimmy gets goosebumps after hearing that.

"S-Sorry Sir."

"Stop stammering you idiot and get your ass out of here!".

'Yeah, yeah boss, I am leaving please spare me' Jimmy thought and hurriedly walked away.

Yang Li looked at Fariha and angrily walked towards her. "Here, wipe your face." He gives her his handkerchief.

Fariha hurriedly wipe her tears while looking downwards. "Your nose also." Fariha wipe the stuff of her nose embarrassing after hearing his angry roar.

Yang Li looked towards his driver who gave him the water bottle. He opens the cover and said to her. "Clean your face." Fariha cleaned her face with the help of water.

Yang Li sneered coldly after seeing that Fariha was trying very hard to stop her tears.

"Now re apply your lipstick and makeup." Fariha finally looked up after hearing that.

"I a-am loo-looking ugly?" Fariha asked innocently in a soft voice.

Yang Li was stunned after hearing her voice. Unknown to him a small curve was present on his lips.

"So you know how to talk?"

Fariha quickly lowered her head.

Yang Li grabbed her chin and forced her to look towards him. She looked into his eyes. Fear was apparent in her eyes. "You are my choice. And I hate ugliness." Yang Li said with a smirk, but soon realized something.

"Are you suffering from fever?" he asked in a dangerous voice. Unable to face the danger in his eyes Fariha close her eyes tightly.

"P-please d-don't get angry."

Ignoring her plea Yang Li picked her up in bridal style and enter the Civil Affairs Bureau.

After completing the process Yang Li asked Jimmy to inform Mr. Ri and drop Fariha at his Villa.
