Silvermoon Household

And that only served to further confuse these assassins. With her ability, gaining fame or money should be pretty easy. So why did she choose to pretend to be the young Miss of the Silvermoon family? And do it so terribly too. This had to be the worst impersonation they had ever seen. She looks the part, that's for sure, but... that's it. She doesn't dress like her and definitely doesn't act like her.

Titania Silvermoon. The youngest child of the Silvermoon family and the only daughter in the family. She was a 16-year-old girl. Sweet, innocent, naive, adorable, kind, soft, those were all words that described her. She adored wearing pastel, light colors, and didn't want to be a cultivator. Thus, her strength was equivalent to none. This girl in front of them was the complete opposite of Titania. Be it strength, attitude, wits, choice of clothing, or anything else, she was nothing like Titania. And that speed of hers was absolutely crazy.

So why did she do it? What does she get out of this?

They wondered but were unable to come up with any sort of explanation to understand things no matter how much they attempted to.

Meanwhile, Aquila and the assassin were still staring at each other ceaselessly. Aquila was currently having a staring contest and looked like she was wholeheartedly focused on this, but the truth was, she was not. This wasn't even close to being enough to faze her. Even if her past skills weren't usable at the moment, her mental strength was completely recovered. By now, she already had more of an idea of what had happened, and what was going on. Most likely was that she was being brought to the Silvermoon family.

'Hmm, should I pretend to be the young miss of the family? Nah, that's stupid. They probably can already tell I'm not her. Should I feign amnesia? Or should I tell the truth?'

While she was pondering about this, she was walking without paying attention to the speed at which she walked. The assassin walking behind her holding the daggers was probably more scared than she herself was. While she seemed like she didn't even notice the presence of the daggers pointing at her throat, the assassin had to be careful not to accidentally kill her yet since the family clearly wanted to interrogate her first. The assassin couldn't help cursing her in his mind. 'What kind of prisoner is she? Geez,' he thought.

Finally, after walking for a while, everyone arrived at the Silvermoon household in the capital city of Carpo. Winking at the assassin she was staring at, Aquila finally broke eye contact with him and turned to look at the house she arrived at. She honestly didn't know what she had been expecting, but the house wasn't anything too extravagant. Or that's what she thought anyway.

What she considered a house was actually a beautiful mansion. Smooth white walls engraved with beautiful gold engravings, the exterior of the mansion was quite magnificent. Tall windows that glowed with a light blue energy showed off the grandeur of the mansion's interior in all its splendor and glory.

Flickering her gaze across the mansion, Aquila looked away uninterestedly. Little did she know, her move left the people who had been paying attention to her even more confused about her intentions.

Allowing the assassins to guide her inside the mansion, the first thing she noticed upon entering was the inside decorations. While the exterior style showed off its magnificence, the interior was elegant and classy. "Well, at least these designers have good style," she muttered softly, but those trained assassins surrounding her heard her very clearly. At this point, they were already so bewildered by this person that they just ignored her comment.

Leading her towards a large hall inside the mansion, the assassins finally moved away and the assassin behind her heaved a sigh of relief as he shoved her into the room. Or at least, that was his intention, but she had already walked in before he could even touch her hair.

Seeing how Aquila strolled in so casually, the people there weren't pleased as they all frowned subconsciously. Noticing that, two of the assassins walked forwards towards her and pushed her down into a kneeling position. Well, once again, that was their intention, but she kneeled down before they could push her down.

"Don't touch me," she whispered coldly before she looked down.

Sitting in front of her was the old man who had assisted Old Dust earlier in the Cavern of Misfortune, the old master of the Silvermoon family. Sitting beside him on his right was an old woman, the old madam of the family. Standing on his left were his four sons, standing in chronological order with the oldest standing closest to him. There were many people standing around in this room as well; mostly cultivators and they were all glaring at one person kneeling on the floor. In common cases, most people would feel uncomfortable under so many gazes of contempt, but the girl in question seemed right at home.

The girl's head was lowered, so her expression was hidden.

"So? What do you have to say for yourself?" Old Master Silvermoon said coldly.

"Hmm, nothing much, really. It's quite nice to receive such a lovely greeting." Aquila said nonchalantly.

The old master only continued staring down at her icily, but the old madam couldn't help but speak out when facing such blatant disrespect from an imposter.

Aquila only pursed her lips and ignored the old madam. So what if they were her elders? It wasn't like they were actually her elders and even if they were, if you ask her, respect was something that had to be gained, not something determined by age.
