Chapter 39: Jade Dragon Bones

In front of me lied a wasteland, stretched across almost infinitively. I felt like this place existed in a different space than Earth, and it was quite well hidden too. It was riddled with debris of multiple sizes. A sense of desolateness steadily overcome my senses, giving birth to negative emotions. Controlling those emotions through deep breaths, I surveyed the area.

After look at my surrounding which essentially was just... well, barren land, my eyes finally laid on the massive pile of bones. One glance and I can tell that it belonged to a Dragon. Was this place a resting place for this Dragon? A separate space on Earth that contains Dragon bones?

I examined the bones further, although I couldn't ascertain when this it died, time didn't decrease a bit of its majestic air. It stood proud and tall, still emitting enough decaying aura to suppress me. Those bones looked as if they were made of jade, crystal clear and beautiful to extreme. Energy fluctuations rippled from them. The shortest bone was around ten meters, and the longer ones were dozens of meters long.

As if noticing my presence, the bones trembled. I gaped with aghast eyes as they slowly started floating in air. I promptly put up my defence even though I knew nothing I could do will save me. The suppression it gave was no less than Ouyang Luoshuang, and this when she was at peak while this dragon was dead for a long time. I can only wonder how strong it would have been alive. Probably an unintentional fart would've been enough to erase my very existence.

Fortunately, it seems the bones had no intension of attack me. The jade bones were slowly congregating at a place. Within a minute, all of them assembled at one place. Then, it strangely started to melt. Jelly like green fluid congealed from the solid bones as they melted one after another, transforming into floating sphere.

I walked towards it after an hour of this weird occurrence. By now, every bone had turned into green jelly. The sphere was around five meters in diameter. Noticing no further action, I carefully stretched a finger and poked it.

For a few second, nothing happened. But then suddenly, a drop of that liquid entered my body.

"Aaah!!!"

Jumping back like a cat, I writhed on the ground. The intense pain felt like hundreds of maggots were crawling inside my veins, eating it slowly. My consciousness almost faded in and out every passing second.

After fifteen minutes, the tormenting pain finally subsided and I experience a surge in strength, although very less in terms of Qi but in terms of brute power, I changed significantly.

"What just happened?"

Closing my eyes, I focused inside my body. I discovered that the drop of green fluid had entered inside my bone marrow, simply resting there, giving a pulse every now and then.

"I merged with it?" I glanced at the sphere of green liquid and my spine trembled in fear and disbelief. I finally knew what was in front of me: it was a treasure even Gods would wage war for—the bone of Jade Dragon!

Dragon controlled one fourth of Supreme Realm, arguably the strongest race. Expectedly, Dragons also had distinction between their bloodline. Amongst them, there was one bloodline that could only be termed as Heaven Defying. It was the long lost bloodline, the Jade Dragon Bloodline.

One possessing Jade Dragon Bloodline could actually transform their Heaven and Earth Qi to a particular Elemental Qi during the start of cultivation which was only possible when one becomes an Immortal. Innately, Jade Dragons have an inborn affinity with Jade Qi, which contains incredible healing properties but it wasn't this reason why it was called heaven-defying; it was the terrifying ability to awaken other's bloodline through sexual intercourse. That's why they were also known as perverted Dragons.

As I understand it, I wouldn't obtain Jade Dragon bloodline instantly, but I were to soak up all this green liquid, my bone marrow would be completely replaced and it would only be a matter of time before I acquire the complete bloodline. Definitely, I was extremely tempted, but I wondered what effect it would have on my body if it clashes with Ancient Sex Devil's Bloodline. Then again, there was no resistance just now, so it would be fine... probably.

"Should I take the risk?" I closed my eyes and thought this through. This choice could be a very big turning point of my cultivation career.

Just then my mind wandered and the despaired eyes of Xiurong and Zongying's lacerated body flashed my consciousness, how weak I was then and still, how weak I am now. My hand balled tightly into a fist remembering that event. Taking a deep breath, I took off my clothing and directly jumped inside the sphere before my mind could come up with different excuses.

"Arrrrrghhh!"

Instantly, my body shuddered intensely from the sudden bombardment of pain. Every inch of my skin was soaked in the liquid as it began seeping inside my pores. My eyes turned bloodshot immediately and I couldn't help but let of miserable cries. Previously, I had only absorbed one drop and just a bit of my bone marrow was replaced but now...

At some point, my consciousness faded completely, only to be woken up with the same heart-wrenching pain. Now not only my bone marrow was replacing, even the existing bones were crumbling down in power before slowly and agonisingly reforming.

"Aaah!"

I didn't knew how many times I had fainted already. When I jumped in, I though I would go numb in due time but in reality, the pain only intensified. I was doing my utmost to not just cry like a bitch.

The bone replacement started at my feet, steadily moving upward. At one moment, I even felt like my body was just a container of flesh and liquid, with no definitive structure.

Inside my body, the replaced bone marrow slowly released a drop of blood in the stream. An even gut-wrenching torture began. My Ancient Sex Devil Bloodline revolved together with Jade Dragon Bloodline, clashing against each other occasionally before going back in their own position. It was as if they were trying to show dominance to each other. After hours of repeated confrontation, finally they calmed down and both bloodlines started flowing together. Simultaneously, it was releasing powerful energy which was progressively raising my cultivation.

My cultivation shot through, stopping only at peak of Qi Master Realm. From the start of this misery, I let out a smile for the first time, and it was a crazed one.
