Chapter 5: Mother and Son's Bonding and Nen

A/N: First, I would like to apologize for the poor grammar and choice of words in the last chapters. I will try my best from now on,. I will revise the chapters again with grammar tools before uploading them.

Second, I have a suggestion and I don't know if you would like it or not. So, I was thinking of uploading chapters in bulk once a week instead of one or two a day. So, let me know if you would like this suggestion or not.

"Baby;*sniff. Finally, at last, you wake up. Waah," cried his mother as if her son had died then came back to life.

He was still trying to figure out what happened. He was still in shock, knowing his soul might have crossed the world, or he was still dreaming. He even thought that it might be a different world, not Hunter X Hunter's world, and what he had just seen was someone else's memories, and according to the power he saw from his family, that might be true. But hearing his mother cry, he couldn't help but throw his thoughts to the back of his mind and reply to his mother.

"Don't worry, mom. I will be fine," said Geno trying to reassure his mother, not knowing he had a reassuring smile on his face.

Seeing her son's adorable smile as if seeing the sun on a winter day, she started crying more and more. She started pinching his chicks as if she was checking if she was dreaming.

"A smile … *sniff. You are smiling…" Lana kept crying while still holding her son's cheek. They were the only ones in the room.

Suddenly they heard a knock on the door.

"Mistress, Are you alright?" a worried voice came from Lana's maid, Mera.

Lana ignored Mera as if not hearing her at all. She kept staring at her son like he was the only one in her world. Seeing his mother not going to reply, Geno had to reassure the servant outside.

"Don't worry, Mera. Mother is alright," said Geno to Mera, who was still standing outside the room.

Hearing her young master's voice coming from inside, the maid was dumbfounded and didn't know how to react for a second, trying to process what she had just heard. After waking up from her daze, she disappeared and hurried to the training ground to find her master.

Meanwhile, in Geno's room, he was trying to wake his mother from her daze.

After his soul had finally recovered and saw what his past self had been through, he looked at his mother with moisture in his eyes. The dream that he had longed for in both lives had come true and part if not the whole of it is in front of his eyes. He launched himself to his mother to hug her and started crying with a loud voice this time.

Waking up from her daze at the sudden hug and seeing her only son crying, she hugged him and cried.

"Take it easy, baby. You will be alright from now on." cried Lana hugging her son.

They both stayed like this and kept crying when, suddenly, A hurried noise came from outside the room and Mon hurried into the room with an excited expression on his face followed by his aunts and uncles.

"Geno, finally my boy, you are up," said Mon as he hurried to hug his wife and son.

" Cutie pie, how are you feeling?? Are you alright??" hurried Lola to the three as she tried to check on her nephew.

The rest hurried to them to check on Geno and to see if anything happened. The room turned noisy from the whole ordeal. When the son and parents separated, the rest could see the smile on Geno's face while still crying. They were mesmerized by his smile, and their gaze couldn't help but soften to the extent.

"*Ahem…" a voice came from the back, interrupting them.

They turned back to see the elders of the family, headed by their great elder Xeno himself. Xeno came himself to check as he was afraid of the Nen shockwave released by his GG-grandson. The last time, no one was able to sense it, even his son Xander.

'His talent is really out of the world. Although not fully awaken as some nodes still need to be opened. To semi awaken at four, is unbelievable. I think I will him personally opening the remaining nodes' Thought Xeno looking at Geno with approval.

"So Geno, what have you seen in the last month that changed your expression all that time," said Xeno with an analyzing look on his face.

"mmm… " Geno didn't know how to reply. He couldn't tell them his thoughts, and he didn't want to lie to them too. And he knows he couldn't fool his GG-grandfather.

" I saw much life and death. I saw people being abused, discriminated against, etc. I saw hopes and dreams being crushed…." Said Geno trying to tell the truth mysteriously and as vague as possible.

He didn't want to lie. He knew if he kept these memories, He wouldn't live the life he had always dreamt. These memories might hinder him. They might cause a disruption in his emotions or a change in the way he behaves with everyone. He wouldn't enjoy this life, so he thought of a solution. He thought about how to make use of them in his favor.

"Hmm…." Xeno thought of something and kept it for himself.

"Ok, Geno. For the moment, we need to handle your Nen issue. In your outburst, you semi-awakened and most of your nodes opened but some are still closed and hinder your aura. I have sealed your opened nodes to keep your aura from flowing out. Now that you are awake, we need to handle this issue. Ok, everyone, stay back." Said Xeno as he neared Geno, and everyone moved to the back.

" Ok, Geno. I will unseal your nodes. Concentrate, and feel your aura and guide it to the closed nodes." Said Xeno putting his hand on Geno's back.

Geno nodded and closed his eyes while adjusting his breathing. He knew about Nen or aura from his past life beside his grandfather has told him what the Nen was a year ago. He pictured aura surrounding his body, and suddenly with the sound of something breaking, he felt like a worm mucous or a water vapor enveloping his body.

Suddenly, like a black hole, white Aura ignited the room and kept absorbing life force from its surroundings and pushed everyone back.

' What a wonderful feeling…' Geno thought to himself as he felt protected.

He suddenly felt some fatigue as his aura kept flowing outside and remembered that if he didn't close the node or control the flow, he might lose consciousness at the end.

'focus. I need to focus on controlling the flow..' thought Geno as he controlled the flow of his aura and stopped it from flowing away.

The whole family members were stunned as they saw a hurricane-like aura enveloping Geno and felt their aura escaping their body. They even felt threatened, as if their aura telling them to escape with their life. They were amazed by the progress of their four-old Geno.

Geno then thought to himself and imagined shutting his aura nodes completely, then suddenly all his aura disappeared. He didn't like this feeling. His feeling of protection disappeared. He then hurriedly opened his aura nodes.
