Chapter 22: Entertaining the enemy

Mendoza kept looking at me. Michael got a drink.

I then said, "Babe I am going to the pool."

He then kissed me and I went.

After I left Mendoza, Tito, Samuel and Ian looked at him.

He quickly asked, "What?"

"Dam," they all quickly yelled.

Ian then said, "You scored big time. Now I see why you have been missing Sunday brawl."

As Michael laughed Mendoza asked, "Did you guys see the front end of all that?"

"It looked like perfect cement," replied Tito to him and Mendoza said, "Please say you always hitting that"

"Of course! Sharon is proof," Michael quickly told him and Ian said, "No! He is taking about now. Considering you guys have on and off problems."

Michael exhaled and said, "Look we dated and connected. Diana happened and I didn't see her for 10 years. Then we reconnected at a coffee shop and dated for two years in Miami. I popped the question and she said yes.

Then six months later at the end of the Hawthorne fiasco she vanished with my daughter. I ran into her a year ago.

You guys were having problems and we got married. I promised to say something after Hawaii but we had a fight.

She took off and I focused on tracking down Richard. Six months ago she popped up. We have been having our talk and listen sessions.

And I talked! To Richard and we cool. Now Richard is married to Jane and has a son, Ryan Moore.

Michael turned to him and shocks his hands.

Donovan then said, "I see you play as hard as you work."

"Oh! It is nothing planned. We invited a few people and they showed up. So here we are," replied Michael as I walked to him.

As I held him he said, "Donovan, meet my wife, Celia Anderson."

He said, "It is nice to meet the beautiful woman that stole Michael's heart."

I smiled and said, "Yea! But he did shut down the Hawthorne Medical Center and destroyed our relationship."

"And to get you back I bought it and funded your foundation. So you need to move on. As in six months you get to do what you love doctor," replied Michael to me.

Jasmine Francis-Reign chuckled and said, "Wow! It sounds like you are in love."

Michael looked at her and said, "You must be the luscious Mrs. Reign."

"Yes I am," replied Jasmine as she trembled.

As she held his hands I saw bruises on her neck and came back to as Michael asked, "So where are your daughters?"

Donovan quickly said, "Oh my daughter is with her son and the girls are tired. The flight was long."

"Oh maybe we can have a spa date tomorrow. You me and your daughters Mrs. Reign," I quickly asked and Donovan said, "Oh they are busy. We are moving to a new state and the tutors are coming tomorrow."

Michael then said, "Rain check! But enjoy the party."

Reign smiled and went with his wife. Michael, me, Tito and Mendoza headed to the kitchen

As they walked away he held her and said, "Don't get any ideas. Your place is in the kitchen and nowhere else. And your three monsters are with you daily."

Tears fell from Jasmine's eyes as she said, "Just kill me and get it over with. Or better yet beat me in front of your friends."

Donovan pulled her to him and said, "You said for better for worst. And your pussy is not appealing anymore. Fortunately you gave me a wonderful step daughter. And her tightness warms my bed.

And our two young strippers are enjoying daddy too. And I have a son now. Something you failed to give me.

As they went Tito said, "Saw the bruises?"
