Dreams and the real

I hate Mondays! Who doesn't? However, when I finally lied my way out of visiting Pancho I prayed for Monday.

I was yet to know the outcome of the Edmundos' visit but I was glad they went without me. I'm such a genius! I praised myself as I ambled towards Addison's truck.

At least the street was fairly empty and airy. I had to wear the purple high button cardigan Ma'am Eunice got me because of the cold.

On Addison's request I readied earlier than usual. His reason for this, was one among the many secrets he was keeping from me. Sometimes, I felt selfish for always talking about myself while he said little of his personal life. I knew he had his life troubles and I wished he would confide in me.

"How was Sabbath, Missy?" He asked sarcastically, mimicking my parents as he drove off.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing my heart out. Weeks ago, I had complained about my parents' frequent questions, now he was using it against me.
