The fight

The standard-sized field had sitting areas on two sides, a racing track and a football court in the middle. I needed a place to seat, more than that, I needed to find my classmates . This was fairly possible considering the large crowd of students, staff and delegates from the other school.

I cast my gaze to the front sides on my left, the school coach sat close to the principal, who was spry in a blue tracksuit.

Where could she be? I stretched my neck for a better view. Judt then Julie entered and took the seat beside the coach. The man who was rapt in the game was distracted by the pretty lady beside him. Her tracksuit was white against the team colour, blue. She loved the attention and she got it.

“So petty,” I cursed.

The coach would steal glances a few times, and chit chat with Julie. The two would cheer and laugh over only what God knows.

“Hmm... comfy.”
