"So you died in an accident and got reincarnated into Hero. Is that right?" Mal asked
"More or less" I said
"And now you are getting visions of Hero's past. Not only that but you are starting to feel less like yourself and more like Hero?" Mal said
"Yep" I replied
After the incident with the frogs, I told Mal everything. From me dying from a car to the visions I get from Hero. He was really surprised when I told him, to the point where he thought I was making everything up. Eventually, he believed me and now we are trying to figure out a way to stop the memories.
"I think I know someone who can help us but…" Mal hesitated
"But?" I asked
"I have no idea where she is" Mal concluded "I can make a tracking spell but it will take some time"
"Sure. So, who is this mystery person?" I asked
"My teacher...and my mother" Mal said
"Your mother?" I asked
Mal has never told me anything about his past and the book never really gave him enough character development to really understand him. I had just realized how little we know about each other.
"Yeah. She doesn't like to stay in one place. Said it makes her feel trapped." Mal said
I looked over at Mal's face. He looked so sad.
"And as a child…" I said
"As a child, I would follow her and travel to many places. Although I saw many different people, I never really got close enough to anyone to consider them a friend." Mal said "When I got old enough to live alone, I decided to stay here."
I had just now realized how much I was prying into his life.
"Sorry if it feels like I'm asking too many questions!" I said nervously
"No. It's okay" he said "It's nice having someone to talk to"
"Still...Oh! How about I tell you a bit about my past life? An eye for an eye" I said
"Sure!" Mal said
I told him about my world. All the technology, the different people, and places in the world.
"Wow! You must have also traveled a lot as well!" Mal said
"Nah. We have devices that can let us discover other places in the world. Much easier then actually traveling." I explained
"What about your family?" Mal asked
I hesitated a bit before answering. "My family is no longer together"
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did they die?" Mal asked with a sad face
I laughed and said "No no. Nothing like that. They're just separated"
"Ah! They no longer loved each other anymore?" Mal asked
"Yeah...something like that" I replied
I got up and told Mal that I was feeling tired and went to bed.

.
.
"I don't know who you are. But you will leave this body!"
I looked around. Nothing but black.
"Who's there?" I yelled
"Who? The owner of this body of course" the voice said
"Hero?" I asked
"Who else?" He said
"How are you still here?" I asked "And what's with all the dreams?"
"You take over a person's body and you are asking why had lived a life before? You want the body but not the mind? So picky" He said
I walked around the darkness and said "Why don't you come out?"
"Why should I? Since you took how I look, I don't have a form anymore. Hmm. How would this work? Let me think..."
He was silent for a moment before he snapped his fingers and said "I got it. Why don't I use your previous body instead"
I sighed "Fine! Whatever. Use my looks. You could be a donkey for all I care."
As I was walking in the dark, I had finally run into something. The room lit up and I saw myself.
Light brown hair and green eyes. It was how I used to look.
"How...odd" he said
"Yep" I agreed "So you are real."
"And you're in my body" he muttered
"It's not like I wanted to be in your body!" I yelled
"Just find a way to reverse this" he said "It's too late to talk now. You are waking up"
.

.
I woke and saw the sun shining through the window.
*let's hope Mal's mother knows how to fix this*
