Village chief and the ape continuèd to fight while I watched from the side.

At this time they seperated from each and looked intently at each other.

"Gibber" ape yelled loudly.

" Iron Claw Tiger possesed"

At this time Village chief Summoned his Iron claw tiger spirit and possessed it while 3 Spirit stars appeared behind his head 2 yellow and 1 purple. He started to gather his power on the 2nd spirit star which started to glow brightly while the Wind chime ape gathered energy on his hands which made a small tornado to appear on his hands.

In the blink of an eye the energy gathered in the claws of Village Chief while Wind Chike Ape compressed the wind tornado into the arrow shape and send it towards the Village chief. Village faced it head-on and clawed his fists towards it cutting the wind arrow from middle and continued to attack the Wind chime who didn't have the time to dodge and tried to defend but couldn't do anything in front of the power suppression of Spirit General level Village chief, and was hit hard by his claw as blood dripped from its mouth while the body slid back heavily and got stuck on a tree and fell into coma.

All this happened in just a dozen of seconds, I could only see this happening because of my demon eye technique or I won't even know what happened. But this led me to understand there is really a big gap between every 10 levels, Its very hard to even jump 5 levels and attack other party let alone attack someone 10 levels higher with an extra spirit which is no different from dropping q hammer on your own legs. Like now although the wind Chime ape is better then most of the spirit beasts around same age it still can't handle the second spirit ring of Village chief that is what we call suppression from power.

While I mused through these Village chief dragged the comatose Wind Chime ape in front of me said.

" Quickly kill it and absorb the spirit star, it's not good to stay here for too long, it will be okay for now as there won't be many spirit beasts coming but once time passess more and more beasts might gathers, and it's not a good idea to fight them even with my strength I can only run in front of the large group of 100 year spirit beasts."

I nodded as reply to show I understood and quickly moved towards the spirit beast and drew a sharp knife from my bag that Grandma gave me before I left.

I inserted the knife through the beasts eye and punctured his brain killing it quickly, while fee drops of blood fell on my clothes but I just indifferently watched this and concentrated my attention on the spirit power gathering above the Wind Chime Ape.

The Spirit power quickly concentrated to form a bright yellow colored star, seeing that my first spirit star is already in front of me waiting to be absorbed I couldn't help but get excited while blood rushed to my head. At this time I felt a hand placed on my shoulder turning to look at Village Chief, I saw him nodding and encouraging me to go ahead and absorb the spirit star while he said. " Don't be nervous and keep calm all the time, continue to run your spirit gathering technique the entire time, don't stop for even a second it will lead to problems which might even kill you."

I nodded seriously and quickly calmed myself. I closed my eyes and sat in meditation in front of the Wind chime apes corpse and summoned my Spirit stick and started to run my spirit gathering technique. After a few seconds I felt large amounts of energy entering my body at first it felt very comfortable as I felt myself becoming strong from each cycle of spirit gathering technique byt after a while I felt my dantian becoming bloated by energy I quickly got serious and started to compress the energy inside to maintain the balance but the energy outside continued to rush inside my body in large amounts but I still persisted through this and continued to compress the spirit power.

After I don't know how long it passed the spirit power stopped rushing into me and just as I thought everything is finished and wanted to open my eyes I felt something heavy in my head and a roar came from inside my head. I quickly gathered my focus into my head where I saw a jungle rather then my brain astonished at this fact I didn't notice a large shadow rushing towards me, and when I noticed, it was already late as I could see a large fist heading towards my face at this moment I didn't know where I got power I managed to rush past the fist as it blew through the side of my face. After rushing quite a distance away I turned back to look at the thing that attacked me. Carefully watching I saw that the fist came from none other then the Wind Chime Ape whose spirit star I just absorbed meaning this is the will of the beast after I defeat it, I should be able to get my first spirit Star as for the thought of myself lose never occurred to me as although my spirit power dropped because of the mutation of my Spirit Stick but there wasn't any problem with mental strength which was already greater then my spirit power. I estimate my mental strength should be over level 30 approxima6amount I don't know but this strength is enough to abuse this little will of the beast.

The will of a beast is always weaker then their actual strength and the will of hundred years beast will only be weaker since they haven't lived much and haven't opened their wisdom. A spirit beast generally opens their wisdom after they reach 10000 years in rank or when they are near the rank of 10000 years. The years are only numbers, Its just a way to infer their strengths, their real age won't be anywhere near this as they only need to eat humans or spiritual materials to progress in power. We can even meat a beast whose age might not be more than 100 but the strength has reached spirit ancestor rank or above 30000 years in what we call them.

I mused silently while watching him while the wind chime ape did the same. But after some time it couldn't stand this silence and rushed to attack me I just stood there waited for it to come near. As soon as it neared me I just summoned my Spirit stick and turned it into a small needle while calmly throwing it out, the needle passed through my hands and with a fast speed entered the brains of the spirit beast and continued to destroy the brain as it moved forward and came out from behind the beasts head and continued onwards while the beast fell straight down still in its running posture.

I shook my head while I felt some sort of mysterious energy entering my body. I felt very comfortable until this mysterious energy stopped qs I slowly opened my eyes onky to see a few more corpses around me while Village chief is dragging another tiger shaped spirit beast.

Seeing me awake he smiled brightly as he moved towards me at a fast pace dropping the beast beside another corpse. I thought he would ask me what my spirit ability is but he didn't do so but took my hand and said to go back first and then explain. It's nit good to stay here as I can already feel a group of spirit beasts approaching this location. I nodded my head and quickened my pace as we headed towards the direction where we came in from.

After rushing for more then half an hour we got out from the forest gates and entered the market area where he took me into a hotel and asked.

" Now you can say what spirit ability did you get."

" Let me tell you Chief the spirit beast Wind Chime Ape was somewhat mutated its true age is more then 500 I think it should around 520 years. Which caused some problems in my process of absorption but it wasn't much"

Hearing this Village didn't feel much as he knew I could handle a beast of this level but he still sternly warned to be careful next time and also blamed himself to not knowing about this gratefull nothing happened to me otherwise he couldn't forgive himself.

After finishing this I continued to say.

" The spirit ability I got is called fire slash, actually it is wind slash ability of wind chime beast you faced earlier today but because of my spirit ability is of fire type it turned into fire type ability so its better to call this fire slash since it gathers the fire energy onto the tip or bottom of my Spirit Stick and fires outward like an arrow once I slash it down at the same time this spirit ability increasesmy strength by 20% and will continue to increase by 20% every time I adf a new spirit star."

" Good Good you got a nice spirit ability this time. Very good now I truly don't have to worry about your future. Lets go today we will eat outside eat whatever you like" He said as he laughed loudly.
