Grandma Royale

Jasmine was surprised by Grandma Royales presence in her room,but the hunger she was feeling was more than the surprise she had on seeing Jasper's Grandma in her room,Jasper had informed her already of his grandmothers wish to speak with her privately,she just didn't think it would be now,she simply took the bowl of pie with her warm glass cup of milk and sat on the bed not speaking a word to her visitor and started eating.

Grandma Royale,after leaving her family,Sophie's story has dropped something into her,buy she had not stayed patiently to listen to Sophie's last part of her story and had gone to her room in pretense before teleporting to Jasmine's room where she was presently,she waited before the Cole's arrived,once she noticed, Jasmine coming directly to the room she had hidden herself behind the bathroom door which was open,she didn't want Jasmine calling her parents attention once she saw her sitting in the dark of the room,she would probably scream,she thought,

what if she was half human and wolf,she could smell the human scent mixed with a scent and another she couldn't place her sense of smell on,but she smelt heavenly,even though Grandma Royale was aging her powers fading also,she made use if the little she had,she hadn't noticed until now how awesome it smelt.

"Jasmine darling,what I want to tell you is for your own good, so listen good and well,ok"she started.

"Ok grandma"Jasmine who was still chewing her pie replied.

"But Grandma,can't it wait till tomorrow,I want to sleep and it's midnight already,it's Sunday tomorrow,I can visit you in the palace tomorrow,or can't I"reasoning again,as she yawned,she could visit the Royales after attending the town's church,her mum being a seventh day Adventist and her dad being a Methodist had always made her go to church always.

"ok darling I'm sorry,for disturbing you,o forgot you ain't like us I'm sure Jasper must have told you about us,I will be expecting you tomorrow,then"Grandma Susanne Royale replied,her Soon to be daughter in law.

"I will be taking my leave now "she said concludingly and just as she was about passing through the door ,she didn't want the girl know her powers not did she want to scare her,the moment she laid her hand on the door,Jasmine stopped her by calling her.

"Grandma"this caught Susanne Royale who was just about leaving.

"Yes dear,what is it?"she replied, withdrawing her hands from the for knob, while she asked,staring back at Jasmine.

Grandma please tell me the truth and promise you won't lie to me,please"Jasmine said pleasingly.

"Ok love I will"Jasmine could feel the love , grandma put in the endearment she called her,so she had a doubt readied to be cleared,only which could be done by Grandma Royale.

"Grandma did you try to kill me for my powers or ,you wanted to kill me,when you cast the spell,do you really love me and my family or its because your grandson is involved?"

Jasmine asked,going straight to the point,she wanted the truth,if Grandma had come for her then there was really something special about her she needed answers to know which she didn't if Grandma however got her convinced by her answers tonight,she was more than willing to trust her,even though you don't trust people completely.

Jasper had explained why , grandma cast the spell in her but she needed to hear from the horses mouth.

actually wasn't trying to kill you , infact I had no intention of killing you"Explaining it all to her Jasmine's heart got relieved a bit,before calming down.

Now that she had gotten her answers she was happy,which suddenly attracted Susanne Royale.

"Can I sing you a song,a lullaby maybe"even though this was supposed to make Jasmine feel like a kid, ironically it did the opposite,she had never been slept by a lullaby,her mum never had time,and here grandma Royale was asking her like asking a kid if he wanted his favourite ice cream he had never had.

Surprised by Grandma's request she accepted it quickly, Grandma Royale came to seat beside her, placing Jasmine on her laps before she began to sing, feeling drowsy she had forgotten to ask Grandma Royale how she had gotten Inti the house since it was locked,but she ignored it ,knowing she wasn't ordinary,is this how her life would be,loved and happy always if she married the prince,this were her thoughts before the song grandma was singing to her hearing sent her to her Dreamland.

Grandma,who had never sang a stranger to sleep with lullaby her husband often sang her before he was killed ,her face wrinkled revealing the darkness in her heart,but Jasmine was not any sort of stranger to her ,she would be her grand daughter,and she felt the need to protect her she wanted to hold her grand daughters kid in her arms, already imagining how they would look like , beautiful and handsome,she smiled and smirked as a thought crossed her mind before she shifted it away.

It it seemed it might not happen,staring at the beautiful, innocent face in front of her,she had realized Jasmine had come to accept her when she didn't reject her offer,this lifted the darkness on her face and brought a smile to her lips.

"hmm,hmm"Jasmine hmming in her sleep caught her attention, snapping her out of her reverie,was she having nightmares, she thought unsure of what to do,she had to wake her up,just has she was about waking her up she heard her say the word she wasn't expecting her to, Grandma Royale didn't bother to wake her anymore and left her, covering her as she teleported back to her room in the palace.
