CHAPTER 19: Yes We Will Dare

The two captains sighed, they were the captains but they understood why she was speaking in this way.

What if they encountered people with beasts wanting to help but then not knowing that the beasts have more potential in being poisoned, this will surely cause more damage than help.

"How did you know of it by the way?" they asked.

"A feeling," was her answer.

Hunter and the others knew of it from their beasts, she could have noticed this because they didn't call any of the beasts out.

That was the thought the other six had after her vague reply.

After a while, they heard footsteps coming from the forest.

And came out Fenril together with the rest of the knights who loved sitting around and fighting against the smaller ones alone.

They heard that antidote and potion against the poison was created that they knew battling with the snake now will be easier.

And if they kill that giant beast, they will receive more honor.

Saphira could clearly see it with the greed in their eyes.

Not only her but the rest of her group as well.

Ezekiel and Hamlet frowned at this, they can also tell what Fenril and the rest are thinking.

"Give us the potion, we shall take charge now. You all did great, we will surely defeat it for you as well," Fenril commanded, acting like the commander he is.

As if he was concerned at the first batch who battled against it, he spoke with words of concern.

But everyone could see through him.

Yet because he was the commander, they couldn't say anything.

"Give it to me now kid, this is our Empire. We will finish our problems ourselves," Fenril spoke arrogantly towards Ridge.

"I think we are fine on our own. Thank you sir," Hunter stepped towards the shore.

All seven of them already had taken the antidote and potion against the poison.

Together with their beasts.

Fenril's face turned dark out of rage.

"How dare a kid like you. You all are in training, don't get too ahead of yourselves just because you created the antidote."

Hunter scoffed, "A kid? Let me ask you, where are your poison makers? How can a kid get the antidote in less than a day when your team haven't created anything for a week?"

They heard that the first appearance of the giant beast was one week prior their arrival.

If they took things seriously and tried to think broader than just gaining merits then they would have been able to do what his group has done.

Fenril was left speechless but his face turned even redder.

He was prepared to battle it out with these kids, together with the rest of the noble knights behind him.

Ezekiel and Hamlet are ready to protect the teenagers.

They actually liked their confidence, because they voiced out what he and the rest couldn't because of position.

"Just because you are from Qillian Empire you can already act haughty in our Empire. I will make sure that our Emperor will hear of this and will deliver it to your Emperor."

Fenril looked towards Ezekiel and the rest who are standing between him and Hunter's goup.

"As for you, I will make sure that you are demoted and you commoners will be stripped off of your titles as knights."

Hamlet and the rest of the commoners gritted their teeths.

"Don't stop me," Saphira speak up.

"I won't," Hunter replied.

He knew full well what she wants to do and he himself would have done it if she didn't step out first.

Saphira grinned before rushing forward.

Because Fenril was busy blackmailing his knights, he was caught off guard by her sudden attack.

He was punched straight in the face.

"A typical noble who got his position through his family and connections. Weak against a simple punch," Saphira glowered at him.

Not just her but the other six as well.

"You-"

"Yes we will dare. Why won't we? If our Empire fully supports whatever it is we do?" Saphira interrupted him.

And before anyone could understand what she meant behind her words.

All six released their beasts.

Three were flying in the air, Qirin, Roc and Azure Dragon.

Three were standing on the ground, they were as big as the giant snake, Black Tortoise, White Tiger and Basilisk.

"My- My- My- Mythological Beasts!!!!" Fenril was about to faint from what he is seeing.

"And by the way, we will make sure that your Emperor will hear of your meritorious achievements around here," Saphira smiled before jumping over to Qirin.

All six beasts turned to the water and roared.

Their roar was enough to kill the weaker demonic beasts.

Even the beasts inside Ezekiel, Hamlet and the rest, trembled with the appearance of this six.

One was actually enough to handle the giant snake now, but because of Fenril's appearance and arrogance, they chose to bring out everyone.

Qirin and the rest could feel where the snake is because they had already remembered its aura.

"Give us a minute, we will just play with the snake," Saphira waved at Ezekiel and Hamlet.

They were dumbfounded.

Information about the holders of the mythological beasts were received by them.

It was said that six of them were still young, and one was gone.

But they didn't expect that they are this young.

Just like Scorpius Empire only the Emperor was aware of the real age of the holders of the mythological beasts.

The rest knows them as still young.

Fenril and the rest of the other nobles were even more shock.

They belittled these teenagers and even neglected them.

Who would have thought that the ones sent by Qillian Empire was actually the holders of the mythological beasts?

The knights of Alquira Empire watched from the shore how the six mythological beasts bullied the giant snake they had difficulties in subduing.

"We are still lacking aren't we?" Ezekiel commented to Hamlet.

If they have broader view of everything then they would have been able to get the information these teenagers got in just a day.

Due to the fear of the sudden appearance of the giant beast, their visions narrowed and they were unable to see everything that was surrounding them.

"We are indeed," Hamlet agreed.

It didn't even take them ten minutes before the snake was dead.

When they returned, cheers erupted from all those whom they became close to.

But Saphira and Hunter had a serious look, they will have to speak with the other five regarding that snake.

Ezekiel and Hamlet pulled Saphira and Hunter to the side to talk about them keeping their identities a secret while the other five were pulled to be questioned as well.

Fenril and the twenty he had with him were left with no one taking notice of them.

There are only about two hundred that were left in the shore to continue this mission.

In the beginning there are about five thousand of them, but because of the increase in number and increase in strength. Together with the appearance of the snake, more were injured and some even died.

Too many casualties that only 40 percent remained.

The battle today was the most peaceful because there are only injuries but no one had died.

It was another two days before they finally settled in their questions and the seven could finally truly rest.

Of course, Fenril and his team tried approaching them but they were completely ignored.

They tried using power towards Ezekiel and Hamlet but Saphira and Hunter had used power to suppress them instead.

"Do you really think you still have power?" was all they asked and said and Fenril and his team were left with no retort.

At the same time, after these two days the reinforcements finally arrived.

One of which was another black squad captain.

He was deemed as the strongest but his team was the first to encounter the giant snake.

They were poisoned and all, that they were unable to return so easily.

"I am captain Leon, and I have heard everything from Hamlet and Ezekiel. You were amazing indeed," he smiled and shook their hands.

He has golden hair and blue eyes.

He was also one of the two dukes of Alquira Empire.

The other was not of military strength but of politics instead.

"We are honored to meet the golden sword of Alquira Empire, sir," Hunter respectfully said.

The golden sword with his accompanying beast, the lion, was among the strongest knights within Alquira Empire and the land as well.

Stronger than some of the knights in Qillian Empire even.

In this land, there are three Empires and two kingdoms.

Qillian Empire occupying half of its size.

The rest of the Empires and Kingdoms were on different lands around the world.

"I should be the one who is honored that the crown prince of Qillian Empire actually knew who I am, prince Hunter Orabella," Leon replied with enough politeness and respect as well.
