"Just say it," Saphira urged her.
"What if I tell you that the current me is very much disappointed in you. Your carefree life and the way you act on things of the past."
When she said things of the past, she only meant one event.
Saphira looked at her before looking at the ground as if contemplating.
'Just as I thought it was too random and too much of a blow. Though if she did ask why, would I be able to answer her properly?'
She didn't even know what pushed her to ask it, she just felt like speaking her mind even though their relationship was no longer the same as the past.
That things are pulling them apart.
Yet the question she was waiting, the one that would normally come out when such a statement were uttered didn't come.
Instead when Saphira loked up to her she nodded her head and smiled, "I see."
And that was it, that was all Saphira said before returning her eyes to the path they were taking but her mood didn't change.
She simply accepted the statement without the question that would normally be asked in such situations.
"Eh?"
Willow couldn't help but to react making Saphira look at her in furrowed brows.
"What do you mean eh?"
"I... I mean, aren't you going to ask me why?" Willow ended up saying.
Saphira thought for a bit, "I think it is normal though, as you grow older things change and sometimes the things that changed would become the things that will disappoint others."
Willow blinked a few times.
"Just as I am disappointed of things, others will be too. If you are disappointed on me and I ask you why and thought to myself that I need to change it. Then another will tell me that they are disappointed to the change I made."
Saphira couldn't help but chuckle, "Then wouldn't I just get tired of changing back and forth? Because you see as you have things you are disappointed about me, I presume you also have things that you are not disappointed about."
"Yes, that is true," Willow answered.
"Then that's just it. Just as the saying goes, no body is perfect. Then just so be it. But I am glad I heard you say it in such a genuine manner."
Willow was once again taken a back when she smiled gratefully at her.
Seeing as Willow was still confused, Saphira smiled again, "Say Willow, would you have the courage to speak of this maybe before you met me? After our departure?"
Willow thought back and if it were then or if they weren't separated, she wouldn't be able to do it.
So she shook her head.
"See, haven't you grown just now? You admitted something to yourself and the person involved. It was an ugly truth but you took that step and spoke of it. It means you have accepted yourself even more now."
Saphira smiled again before pointing forward, "The others are here."
Just as she had said, when Willow looked ahead, just as they are close to the edge of the forest. She could see the silhouette of the others.
As they got close, Stormie came running towards them but Saphira extended her hand and stopped Stormie by the face just as she was about to jump on them.
"Willow is injured, can't you be careful?" she then reprimanded.
Stormie made an oh sound before looking at Willow.
"Just as I thought, what you said yesterday was not good news at all," Stormie was angrily saying this.
"Was it you who told them?" Willow asked her.
"Yes, I thought through last night and still it doesn't sit right so I called everyone to search for you."
"Thank you," Willow smiled.
"What thank you, we are friends, squadmates and all why can't I worry about you?" Stormie answered.
Willow chuckled just as Drake approached with the rest.
Without ceremony Saphira just walked over and passed her to Drake, though a bit stunned he still ended up taking over.
He gritted his teeth seeing how hurt she was and instead of simply supporting her, he ended up carrying her on his arms.
Willow was shocked but she really couldn't move much right now that she could only shyly bow her head.
"Woah," Nixon approached Saphira and walked around her.
"Saphira where did you take a bath?" he asked.
Saphira smiled but that smile sent chills all over his body, "Do you want to know?"
Nixon instantly raised his hand, "No need, I think I don't need to know."
He walked back towards Ridge who could only stare at her.
Because when he walked around her he also noticed something in her.
"She really is a scary one after all," he whispered to him and Ridge nodded his head.
Hunter approached her and reached out placing a hand on her head.
"Hmmm?" Saphira looked at him with a smile on.
"Calm down," was all he said.
"I am fine th-"
When she looked at the rest, she can see that they can already tell.
Stormie whom she reprimanded and spoke little with Willow has actually walked behind Nixon and Ridge.
Making them her shield somehow while trying to peek towards Saphira.
Stormie didn't notice it at first when she tried to run to them out of happiness but after a closer look, she realized something was wrong and so she slowly walked away.
Nixon and Ridge were looking stiff as if waiting to be reprimanded.
Nixon gestured Ridge for what he noticed and the two of them went stiff.
Drake simply looked at Hunter before going ahead.
Willow, who was just with her, didn't realize anything was wrong until she was looking at Saphira in a different angle.
Saphira was rubbing her forefinger and thumb together.
This is of her trying to calm herself when she could not really bring out her anger at the moment.
A habit she had since they were children that they knew she was truly raging mad inside right now.
